Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare social studies learning outcomes between students who used edutainment media and students who used conventional learning methods. This study used a quasi-experimental with a research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Children in grade 4 at SDN Bencongan VI became the population in this study. There were 2 classes totaling 70 children as samples of this study, namely class IVB as the control class and class IVC as the experimental class. Learning outcomes were used as the main data in the data collection strategy, which was supported by test questions. In the control class and experimental class, the results of hypothesis testing using the t test at the end of learning (posttest) resulted in tcount = 3.81 with a significance level of 5% (= 0.05). ttable = 2.03 was obtained and Ho was rejected because 3.81> 2.03 (tcount> ttable). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the use of edutainment media with student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in class IV.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of science learning media in class V, how to use science learning media in class V, what problems are encountered in using science learning media in class V and what efforts are being made to overcome the problem of using science learning media in class V. Science learning media includes visual media, audio-visual media and concrete media that teachers use in the learning process. This research was conducted at MI Tarbiyatul Athfal, South Tangerang. This study used a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive research type, the subjects in this study were school principals, class V teachers and fifth grade students, while the object of this study was the use of science learning media in class V MI Tarbiyatul Athfal, data collection techniques in the form of observation , interviews and documentation of learning media. The results of the research show that the learning media used by the teacher are blackboards, concrete objects, printed pictures, printed books.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was the effect of STEM learning model on critical thinking skills of fourth grade students of SDN Cipondoh 4 Tangerang City. This research was conducted at SDN Cipondoh 4 Tangerang City, 2023/2024 school year consisting of two classes, namely class IV A totaling 24 people as the experimental class and class IV B totaling 24 people as the control class with a total of 48 students. This study uses an experimental method with a form of Quasi Experimental design type Nonequivalent Control Group Design with data collection techniques used, namely interviews, observations, documentation and tests. Data analysis techniques in this study include descriptive analysis of data, analysis requirements test (normality and homogeneity test), hypothesis testing to determine the effect of science critical thinking skills of fourth grade students using the STEM learning model. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed that the average value of control class students was 71.16, and the average of experimental class students was 93.25, so the increase was 22.09. The experimental class post-test results showed a t-value of 3.233, a t-table value of 1.677 with a significance level value of 0.002> 0.05. These results indicate that there is an influence on students' critical thinking skills between students who use the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) learning model and students who use conventional learning models. This study concludes that there is an effect of using the STEM learning model on the critical thinking skills of science fourth grade students of SDN Cipondoh 4 Tangerang City.Keywords: Critical thinking skills, Science learning, STEM

Abstract

Guru memainkan peran penting dalam pendidikan, terutama dalam interaksi langsung dengan siswa selama pembelajaran. Keberhasilan pembelajaran dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan keterampilan dasar mengajar, termasuk variasi pembelajaran. Jika guru tidak mampu melakukan variasi, siswa dapat merasa bosan dan kurang memperhatikan materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan guru kelas IV SDN Kampung Bambu I dalam mengadakan variasi pembelajaran Matematika dan mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melakukan variasi suara, pemusatan perhatian, kesenyapan, kontak pandang, gerakan badan dan mimik wajah, serta perpindahan posisi. Dan menggunakan pola interaksi secara klasikal, kelompok, dan perorangan. Namun, pada penggunaan media pembelajaran kurang bervariasi, terbatas pada benda konkret dari lingkungan sekitar atau kehidupan sehari-hari, dan jarang menggunakan media berbasis teknologi seperti infokus dan komputer karena beberapa kendala. Kendala utama termasuk teknologi sebagai tantangan yang cukup sulit bagi guru dan kesulitan guru dalam menjaga motivasi belajar siswa. Disarankan agar guru berkolaborasi dengan rekan sejawat untuk meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi dan terus meningkatkan keterampilannya dalam mengadakan variasi pembelajaran guna menjaga antusiasme siswa.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low activity and understanding of the concept of science in class III students of SDN Batujaya, Tangerang City. The main problems in this study are: (1) the low interest of students in learning science, (2) the low motivation of students in learning science, (3) students do not develop ideas or ideas, (4) the methods used previously are less precise so students are less enthusiastic in study. This study uses a probing promting model with the aim of: (1) increasing the understanding of the concept of science through the probing learning model for students in class III at SDN Batujaya Kota Tangerang, (2) to find out whether the application of the probing promting learning model can improve the understanding of science concepts of third grade students of SDN Batujaya. This research is a classroom action research with a qualitative approach. In collecting data the author uses several methods, namely: observation method, documentation method, test method. Adapu who is the subject of this research is class III B students with a population of 27 students. The results obtained in each cycle are: in the pre-cycle percentage of students 'understanding of concepts 22.22% who are above the KKM, in cycle 1 an increase in the percentage of students who have grades above the KKM of 64%, in the second cycle the percentage increase in understanding of students' concepts an increase of 83%. This increase occurred because of the maximum use of probing promting learning models conducted by teachers and students so that they are accustomed to using probing prompting learning models in science learning. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media animasi 3D Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa kelas IV SDN Karang Tengah 7 Kota Tangerang. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi, wawancara, uji instrument dan validitas. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif eksperimen. Validasi Expert Jugment dilakukan oleh satu pakar dosen IPAS Dalam proses pembelajaran, media sangat membantu untuk mengalihkan perhatian siswa ketika materi disampaikan dan membantu mereka untuk memahami dan mengingat materi tersebut dalam ingatan jangka panjang mereka. Selain itu proses pembelajaran dengan bantuan media yang dapat dilihat lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan media yang hanya bisa didengar saja. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mencoba menggunakan media animasi 3D dalam proses pembelajaran, khurusnya pelajaran IPA. Dengan media ini, peneliti berharap dapat membantu menarik atensi siswa dikala proses pembelajaran berlangsung, serta khususnya bisa tingkatkan hasil belajar mereka
