Abstract

Apart from being in the general community group, residents are also in a complex residential environment. There are housing complexes for the community in subsidized and commercial housing. The large number of citizen data in one housing complex raises many problems, both harmony problems, and administrative problems. The most fundamental problem is how the system records valid citizens and whether the contribution payment system is accountable, valid, and transparent. The team of lecturers from Hamzanwadi University's Informatics Engineering Study Program is doing this service to help the management of RT 005 Lingkar Pratama build a free application system and collect data from citizens. So, it can help RT administrators record and manage complex residential residents' contributions. The method in this service is carried out in stages, starting with problem data analysis, socialization, and training. The results of this service are in the form of implementing applications that can already be used and assist RT admin officers in managing financial reports and information management of citizen data. Of the fourteen administrators who attended the training, on average, they had mastered the application

Abstract

Every year the University offers various types of scholarships to its students, including Hamzanwadi Selong University, East Lombok. One type of scholarship offered is the Bidikmisi scholarship (KIP/K) which is intended for students who have middle to lower economic levels but have good academic achievement or potential. Every year the number of applicants for this scholarship continues to increase, but the number received each year is limited. The large number of piles of files applying for scholarships and the manual selection process tends to be ineffective and efficient and the results of the selection are inaccurate, so a system is needed that is able to assist in the selection process quickly, easily and on target. The method used is CRIS-DM with the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm modeling, this method is an approach that refers to the Bayes theorem which combines previous knowledge with new knowledge. The variables consist of 7 attributes, namely: Name, DTKS status, achievement, parents' occupation, total income of parents, home ownership, and number of family dependents[1]. Testing was carried out using k-fold cross validation, and the highest accuracy results were obtained from k-fold 4 of 91.43%, while the AUC was 0.996% with a very good diagnostic classification. Thus it can be interpreted that the Naive Bayes algorithm is very well used in the selection of scholarships for bidikmisi scholarships at Hamzanwadi University

Abstract

Water is an important natural resource for human life, but in some coastal areas, the availability of clean water is often a serious problem. One source of water used by communities in these areas is wells, which often do not meet health standards for consumption. Manual methods for detecting well water quality still require long, expensive, and inefficient processes. Therefore, the development of a system that can detect water quality in real-time and provide fast and accurate information to the community is needed. The Internet of Things (IoT) technology, which allows objects to be connected to the internet, provides a solution that can be utilized. In this study, a Smart System was designed using salinity and manganese sensors to monitor the real-time quality of well water in coastal areas. Data from these sensors are sent to a server through the internet and analyzed to provide information to users via the Blynk application on their smartphones. With this system, communities can directly monitor the quality of well water, take appropriate actions, and safeguard the health of local residents. Additionally, this system can also assist relevant government or institutions in monitoring and taking quick actions in response to changes in well water quality in coastal areas

Abstract

Multimedia is a crucial field of study in the present era, as all professional domains require its application to aid individuals in effectively completing their tasks. However, the Multimedia field is contributing significantly to unemployment rates today. This issue partly arises from the fact that graduates in Multimedia lack the required proficiency, skills, and knowledge sought by various companies and institutions. SMK NW Kembang Kerang is a private vocational school located in East Lombok, which offers a multimedia program attracting a substantial number of students each year. Despite graduating students in this field annually, many face the challenge of inadequate competencies upon completion of their education. The lack of practical exposure during their school years hinders the alumni's ability to compete in the job market. Although numerous photo and video editing services are available in the Kembang Kerang region, it is observed that few SMK graduates are employed in this area. The school's teachers and principal comprehend this issue, attributing it to the limited opportunities for practical training experienced by the students. Consequently, to address this concern, the author conducted a competence training activity for students at SMK NW Kembang Kerang, with a specific focus on multimedia and graphic design. The objective of this training program is to enhance the students' multimedia and graphic design skills, empowering them with competent capabilities that will prove beneficial both for their personal growth and the broader community. Through this initiative, it is anticipated that upon completing their vocational education, students will possess the necessary competencies to thrive in the professional realm and contribute positively to society at large.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in today's world has led to significant progress in various aspects of human life, including healthcare. Nowadays, numerous advanced medical devices are being created to facilitate healthcare services. Health is a crucial element in human life, which is why regular monitoring through laboratory tests is essential. Blood type and Rh factor are critical pieces of information in the medical field, especially for blood transfusions and specific medical treatments. However, determining a person's blood type still relies on manual methods, requiring experienced professionals and a considerable amount of time to analyze blood samples. To address this challenge, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based blood type and Rh factor detection device is being developed.The main objective of this research is to design and implement an efficient, fast, and user-friendly device for detecting blood type and Rh factor using IoT technology. Furthermore, this device aims to simplify data storage after conducting a large number of blood type checks, eliminating the need for repeated testing. The creation of this blood type and Rh factor detection device requires several components, including the WiFi module ESP8266, Arduino Uno, and a light sensor built with LDR components. The results will be displayed on a 16x2 LCD and the data obtained from the testing process will be sent to a designated web page. This data will be stored in a MySQL database and subsequently presented on a website.

Abstract

Suku Sasak adalah salah satu suku Bangsa Indonesia yang mayoritasnya berada di Pulau Lombok, bahasa yang digunakan adalah Bahasa Sasak dengan pedoman tiga tingkatan sor-singgih (tigang soroh) yaitu Basa Kasar, Basa Madia dan Basa Alus. Bahasa Sasak juga memiliki imbuhan pangater, seselan dan pangiring. Untuk memudahkan pencarian kata dasar dalam Bahasa Sasak perlu dilakukan proses stemming. Stemming adalah proses pemetaan dan penguraian bentuk dari suatu kata menjadi bentuk dasarnya. Proses stemming sangat penting didalam proses information retrieval system. Pada penelitian ini, dalam melakukan proses stemming Bahasa Sasak menggunakan metode Rule Base Approach. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kata dasar dalam Bahasa Sasak sebanyak 376 kata dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi stemming yang tepat untuk melakukan stemming Bahasa Sasak. Tahap awal dalam proses stemming Bahasa Sasak adalah melakukan proses input, preprocessing, filtering, case folding dan tokenisasi. Masing-masing kata dilakukan proses stemming untuk menghilangkan imbuhan pangater, seselan, dan pangiring. Hasil dari penelitian menyatakan bahwa metode Rule Base Approach dapat digunakan untuk melakukan stemming teks Bahasa Sasak, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil akurasi mencapai angka 77.82%. Tentunya dalam pengujian masih terdapat kegagalan yang disebabkan oleh kesalahan overstemming akibat dari proses stemming.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mendorong transformasi sistem pembelajaran ke arah digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan aplikasi e-learning berbasis web guna meningkatkan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Informatika Universitas Hamzanwadi, khususnya dalam pemahaman konsep dasar pemrograman. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model pengembangan sistem ADDIE ( Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation ). Sistem yang dibangun memiliki dua antarmuka, yaitu untuk tutor dan siswa, dengan fitur-fitur seperti manajemen materi, kuis, serta akses belajar mandiri. Pengujian menggunakan metode blackbox menunjukkan bahwa 88% fitur berjalan sesuai fungsinya, meskipun beberapa fitur seperti penambahan materi dan kuis oleh tutor masih perlu ditingkatkan. Hasil uji implementasi juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa merasa terbantu dengan keberadaan sistem ini dalam mengakses dan memahami materi secara fleksibel. Dengan demikian, aplikasi e-learning yang dikembangkan telah memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pembelajaran mandiri siswa dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan digital di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Environmental cleanliness is a key factor in creating a comfortable and productive work atmosphere. This article discusses the implementation of an Arduino-based automatic trash bin at the Gelanggang Village Office as an innovative solution to support more efficient waste management. The system was designed using an ultrasonic sensor to detect objects and a servo motor to open and close the lid automatically, minimizing direct user contact. Test results show a detection accuracy of up to 95% with a fast response rate, while field observations recorded a 30% increase in proper trash disposal behavior compared to previous conditions. This implementation not only improved cleanliness awareness in the office environment but also has the potential to be applied in other public spaces such as schools and community facilities. Abstract

PIP is the provision of educational cash assistance to school-aged children from underprivileged families who are marked with a smart Indonesia card (KIP). The purpose of this research is to determine the performance of the Naïve Bayes method in classifying data on students who are eligible and who are not eligible to receive a PIP scholarship at SMAN 1 Sukamulia, because this school is still experiencing problems in the decision-making process for determining potential PIP scholarship recipients, because there are no a system that can assist in processing student data that is eligible and not eligible to get the PIP scholarship. Therefore, for data processing, researchers tried to implement a new system with the Data Mining concept using the Naïve Bayes method, by carrying out 9 tests using Cross Validation starting from K-Fold Validation 2 to 10, obtaining the highest accuracy results in the 9th test. using K-Fold Validation 10 which is equal to 92.81%. Also obtained was an Area Under Curve (AUC) value of 0.973%, where AUC is a parameter used in classification analysis to determine the best model for predicting a class or attribute. AUC itself has a value range of 0-1, which means that the closer the AUC value is to 1, the better the prediction or diagnosis of the attribute

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has brought significant changes to data management in the commercial sector, especially in retail stores. This study aims to apply the Apriori algorithm to identify patterns of consumer shopping behavior at D&D Mart, Jerowaru District, East Lombok, Indonesia. Data were collected through observation and interviews with customers. Data processing was conducted using Google Colaboratory to obtain visualizations and calculate association rules. The results show that the combination of coffee, detergent, and sugar products has a support value of 31% and a confidence level of 100%, indicating a very strong purchasing pattern for these products to occur together. This finding provides valuable insights for store owners in developing marketing strategies, such as product placement for items frequently purchased together, bundled promotional offers, and more optimal stock management. Overall, this study demonstrates that the Apriori algorithm is effective for analyzing sales transaction data in retail stores and can support data-driven business decision-making to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
