Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a website-based learning and information management system for MTs KSM Kalupapi. The system serves as a comprehensive platform for facilitating school information dissemination and supporting online learning processes. Employing the UML approach, the system was developed with intuitive interfaces and structured data management to ensure accessibility and functionality for diverse user groups. It accommodates school principals for administrative oversight, teachers as content managers, students for accessing educational materials and assignments, and parents for monitoring their children's academic progress. The system underwent rigorous testing using the black box method to validate its functionality, ensuring accurate outputs aligned with specified requirements. Survey feedback from users indicated exceptional satisfaction, with an average score of 99% and overwhelmingly "strongly agreed" responses across all evaluation metrics. These results highlight the system's effectiveness in enhancing learning efficiency and streamlining information management within the school environment. This study underscores the transformative potential of website-based learning systems in modern education. It also offers a foundation for future enhancements, such as integrating advanced features, adapting for broader educational contexts, and scaling for use in other institutions, thereby promoting innovation and accessibility in education.

Abstract

Leveraging quality models to establish a robust digital ecosystem is imperative in the Industry 4.0 era. Existing Academic Information System (AIS) software often lacks comprehensive adoption of quality models as core system instruments. As a critical component of the education sector's digital transformation, AIS represents a vital ecosystem for facilitating efficiency and innovation in this industrial era. This study addresses these gaps by implementing a comprehensive quality framework for AIS, integrating cloud computing for enhanced security and privacy, and employing the Web-Based Application Quality Model (WBAQM) as the primary development framework. The research also utilizes ISO 9126 and ISO/IEC 25010 quality models to establish usability and security standards, while the Academic Information System Quality Instrument (AISQI) is introduced to evaluate system performance. Additionally, the COBIT framework is applied to audit and enhance AIS functionality, ensuring alignment with academic and operational needs. The findings demonstrate that adopting quality models significantly improves the reliability, usability, and security of AIS software, delivering a system that aligns with both functional requirements and user expectations. This research contributes to the digital transformation of educational institutions in Indonesia by providing a scalable and efficient AIS framework. By aligning with Industry 4.0 principles, the proposed model ensures quality assurance and fosters innovation, enabling educational institutions to adapt to evolving technological demands and improve overall institutional performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of selling orientation, sales training effectiveness, and design-network competition capability on enhancing marketing performance. A quantitative approach was utilised, employing a purposive sampling method to collect data from 274 insurance salespeople via a questionnaire survey conducted in major cities throughout Indonesia. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) was utilised for data analysis to investigate causal relationships among the variables. This study enhances the existing literature on selling orientation and design-network competition capability by illustrating the significant mediating role of design-network competition capability within the framework of sales training and orientation. This research presents empirical evidence regarding the strategic significance of design-network competition capability in enhancing market adaptability and responsiveness. The findings indicate that managers ought to incorporate the development of design-network competition capability into their training and sales orientation strategies, especially in industries characterised by significant market dynamics.

Abstract

Halal tourism plays a pivotal role in driving economic growth, particularly in countries with significant Muslim populations. However, the absence of comprehensive and harmonized regulatory frameworks remains a critical legal gap in advancing sustainable halal tourism. This research aims to construct a model of sustainable halal tourism regulation grounded in local wisdom by conducting a comparative normative legal study between Indonesia and Uzbekistan. Employing a conceptual, legislative, and comparative approach, the study reveals several key findings. First, in Indonesia, regulatory ambiguity and inconsistency exist regarding the definition and implementation of halal tourism, resulting in fragmented policies across regions. Central government regulations remain limited, while decentralization efforts have yet to empower local governments effectively. The minimal involvement of local authorities and communities in formulating halal tourism policies represents a significant shortfall, especially when local wisdom should be at the center of sustainable tourism development. Second, in contrast, Uzbekistan has developed a more integrated approach where sustainable tourism policies emphasize environmental preservation and cultural heritage, aligning more closely with the principles of halal tourism. Uzbekistan's model demonstrates the potential for integrating local values into national tourism policies as a foundation for sustainability. Third, the findings underscore the urgency for Indonesia to harmonize its halal tourism regulatory framework by integrating local wisdom and increasing the participatory role of local communities. A culturally contextualized legal approach is essential to ensure the long-term sustainability, legitimacy, and community acceptance of halal tourism practices.

Abstract

Polongbangkeng Utara, a region in Takalar Regency, is known for its agricultural production, particularly rice and yellow corn. However, despite its potential, corn has traditionally been sold only in its raw kernel form, limiting the economic benefits for local farmers. To address this issue, there is a pressing need to educate the community on processing and marketing corn-based products through Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by leveraging digital social media platforms. This community service initiative aims to enhance local knowledge on optimizing yellow corn utilization to increase income, develop applications to support yellow corn production, assist start-ups in yellow corn agribusiness, and provide training on utilizing marketplaces and e-marketing strategies through Android-based applications. Additionally, it seeks to diversify corn-based products, introduce innovative product designs, and offer interactive media and training modules for corn processing. The initiative received a highly positive response from the Biralle Kunyi farmer group and State Junior High School (SMP) Negeri 4 Polongbangkeng Utara, the program's target groups. Implemented in two phases, the program successfully improved the knowledge and technical skills of participants in processing yellow corn into value-added food products and effectively marketing them via social media. As a result, the digitalization process was optimized, significantly supporting the promotion and commercialization of processed yellow corn products, thereby contributing to the region’s economic growth.
