Abstract

This thesis discusses the management of new student admissions in the zoning system in improving the quality of schools at State High School 2 Palopo. The objectives of this study are: to find out the form of application of the zoning system in improving the quality of schools at State High School 2 Palopo; stakeholder response through the implementation of the zoning system in improving the quality of schools at State High School 2 Palopo; obstacles to stakeholders through the implementation of the zoning system in improving the quality of schools at State High School 2 Palopo. The research method used is to use a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and document review. The technical data analysis taken is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The subjects of this study are the principal, PPDB Committee, teachers and students. The results of this study show that: (1) The form of implementation of the zoning system in improving school quality shows a systematic process from planning to evaluation. The planning process begins with socialization to schools in the zone to find out the procedures for accepting new students in the zoning system, preparing resources optimally and planning is carried out annually according to the technical instructions of the provincial government. The organizing process is carried out by forming a committee through deliberation. The implementation process is carried out entirely online and forms an IT team to support the smooth running of the implementation process. The evaluation process of the committee prepares activity reports to analyze changes in the implementation of activities using the diagram method. (2) The response of stakeholders through the implementation of the zoning system in improving the quality of schools at SMA Negeri 2 Palopo received a positive response with 65% of prospective students being accepted through the zoning route which helped reduce the gap between superior and disadvantaged schools. (3) Stakeholder obstacles through the implementation of the zoning system in improving the quality of schools at SMA Negeri 2 Palopo show that there is a lack of socialization and during the registration process, there are technical problems such as network connections that are lost due to slow servers and errors.

Abstract

Leveraging quality models to establish a robust digital ecosystem is imperative in the Industry 4.0 era. Existing Academic Information System (AIS) software often lacks comprehensive adoption of quality models as core system instruments. As a critical component of the education sector's digital transformation, AIS represents a vital ecosystem for facilitating efficiency and innovation in this industrial era. This study addresses these gaps by implementing a comprehensive quality framework for AIS, integrating cloud computing for enhanced security and privacy, and employing the Web-Based Application Quality Model (WBAQM) as the primary development framework. The research also utilizes ISO 9126 and ISO/IEC 25010 quality models to establish usability and security standards, while the Academic Information System Quality Instrument (AISQI) is introduced to evaluate system performance. Additionally, the COBIT framework is applied to audit and enhance AIS functionality, ensuring alignment with academic and operational needs. The findings demonstrate that adopting quality models significantly improves the reliability, usability, and security of AIS software, delivering a system that aligns with both functional requirements and user expectations. This research contributes to the digital transformation of educational institutions in Indonesia by providing a scalable and efficient AIS framework. By aligning with Industry 4.0 principles, the proposed model ensures quality assurance and fosters innovation, enabling educational institutions to adapt to evolving technological demands and improve overall institutional performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji validitas, dan menilai kepraktisan instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) berbantuan aplikasi Quizizz untuk materi Akhlak Terpuji pada siswa kelas VII C MTs Satu Atap Datok Sulaiman Palopo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan angket, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa instrumen ini memiliki validitas sangat tinggi dari ahli media (83%), ahli materi (88%), dan ahli evaluasi (96%), serta validitas tinggi dari ahli bahasa (72,5%). Uji coba kepraktisan oleh siswa menunjukkan tingkat kepraktisan sebesar 98,3%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, instrumen evaluasi ini memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pengaruh Program Pelatihan Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap Peningkatan Kompetensi Pendidik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Palop. Penelitian ini bertujuan: untuk mengetahui program pelatihan kurikulum merdeka di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Palopo; untuk mengetahui kompetensi pendidik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Palopo; untuk mengetahui pengaruh program pelatihan kurikulum merdeka terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pendidik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Palopo. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun jumlah populasi dan sampel adalah seluru pendidik yang telah mengikuti pelatihan kurikulum merdeka di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Palopo yang berjumlah 20 orang. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 20 tenaga pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Sedangkan teknik analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk mengolah data hasil penelitian, yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif, analisis statistik inferensial, analisis regresi sederhana, uji hipotesisi (uji-t) dan koefesien determinasi dengan menggunakan bantuan Microsoft Office Excel dan Software SPSS vers 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Program pelatihan kurikulum merdeka yang memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 79% maka dapat dikatakan bahwa program pelatihan kurikulum merdeka di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Palopo berjalan dengan baik. 2) Kompetensi pendidik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Palopo memberikan peningkatan, hal ini dapat dilihat pada rata-rata persentase nilai keseluruhan dari aspek kompetensi pendidik yang memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 78% maka dapat dikatakan bahwa kompetensi pendidik dikategorikan baik. 3) Program pelatihan kurikulum merdeka berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pendidik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Palopo hal ini dapat dilihat dari perolehan R square yaitu sebesar 28,7% maka dapat dikataka bahwa program pelatihan kurikulum merdeka di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Palopo berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pendidik sebesar 28,7%. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan Kurikulum Merdeka, Kompetensi Pendidik.
