Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of number puzzle media in developing early counting skills in first-grade students at SDN 101769 Tembung, as well as to describe the advantages and disadvantages of using number puzzle media in developing early counting skills in first-grade students at SDN 101769 Tembung. This type of research uses qualitative research with a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Next, the technique for verifying data validity uses Triangulation Technique. From the research results, it shows that the use of number puzzle media for first-grade students at SDN 101769 Tembung, conducted gradually according to the correct procedures, has proven to be able to develop initial counting skills. The unique and attractive form of the number puzzle media is an advantage of the number puzzle media because it can develop children's enthusiasm and spirit in learning basic counting. The disadvantage of using number puzzle media is that the learning process with number puzzle media requires more time to complete, and the number puzzle media itself emphasizes the visual sense. (visual).

Abstract

Menyimak merupakan keterampilan paling awal yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa sebelum keterampilan bahasa yang lainnya. Menyimak merupakan kegiatan kebahasaan yang sangat esensial, sebab menyimak merupakan kegiatan berkomunikasi yang paling mendasar. Tujuan penelitian ini dilaksanakan adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media audio visual terhadap keterampilan menyimak cerita di kelas IV MIS Mardliatul Islamiyah Medan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang menerapkan metode Pre- Eksperiment dengan pretest postest control grup design yang melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes essay yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistic paired sample t test. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan judul “ Pengaruh Media audio Visual Terhadap Keterampilan Menyimak Cerita di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar “maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh media audio visual terhadap keterampilan menyimak siswa, dimana nilai rata-rata siswa pre-test kelas eksperimen adalah 48,98 dan nilai post-test nya adalah 83,13. Sementara itu nilai rata-rata pre-test untuk kelas kontrol adalah 47,17 dan nilai post-test nya adalah 64,13. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelompok uji coba atau eksperimen memiliki rata rata hasil keterampilan menyimak yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Keberadaan madrasah ibtidaiyah setara dengan sekolah dasar sebagai bagian dari pendidikan dasar. Kegiatan inti sekolah atau madrasah adalah pembelajaran. Anak-anak yang didaftarkan orang tuanya ke madrasah ibtidaiyah adalah supaya anak dapat dengan mudah mempelajari sejumlah mata pelajaran dasar yang penting sehingga anak menjadi anak yang sholeh. Dengan kata lain anak yang belajar akan menjadi orang dewasa, karena mereka menguasai sejumlah mata pelajaran, atau pengetahuan yang diperlukan sesuai kurikulum untuk hidup di masyarakat, atau melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan lebih tinggi. Untuk itu efektivitas pembelajaran menjadi tugas guru, karena itu diperlukan guru profesional yang mampu mewujudkan pembelajaran yang berhasil, khususnya dilihat dari perubahan perilaku murid, baik kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik.

Abstract

The results of this study reveal three findings, namely: First, the learning management plan during the Covid 19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 4 Sibolga, it can be concluded: PAI learning management about learning models, sorting out the basic competencies that are taught, the time and the system used. Second, the management of Islamic Education learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 4 Sibolga was carried out by means of an online network for students who have devices, internet data packages or slumber, and offline learning for students who do not have devices, internet data packages or pulses. Online is done by utilizing the WhatsApp application, zoom, youtube, google classroom and learning web pages. While offline is carried out through the provision of books, modules, and worksheets which are picked up and delivered directly by students to school. There are also limited face-to-face meetings at mosques or locations deemed appropriate. Third, evaluation of implementation. Distance learning with online and offline models is considered less optimal in the delivery of material because educators cannot ensure the condition of students in following learning, and students' interest in learning is low and decreasing and learning outcomes are not objective.

Abstract

The development of science, technology, family and social life has brought changes and problems in human life that always require adjustments in living the wheel of life. In responding to this condition, all matters relating to human needs, interactions and lifestyles must be adapted to the conditions prevailing at that time. Phenomena in various issues that arise in BK include individual, social and career issues that are continuously developing in reality. This has also brought changes to the world of guidance and counseling. Guidance and counseling must be ready and willing to meet current human needs in the form of efforts to help solve problems that often occur. Therefore, the existence of guidance and counseling must continue to be updated on the development of science and all individuals at that time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the model of developing a quality culture in PAI learning at Nurul Ilmi Private Junior High School Padangsidimpuan. In detail, the objectives of this study are: 1) to find out the model program for developing a quality culture of Islamic Religious Education learning at the Nurul Ilmi Private Junior High School, 2) the implementation of the quality culture development model program in Islamic religious education learning at the Nurul Ilmu Padangsidimpuan Middle School, 3) the involvement of personnel resources. implementation of a quality culture development model program in Islamic religious education learning at SMP Nurul Ilmu Padangsidimpuan.To obtain the data needed in this study, interview, observation, and documentation techniques were used. Meanwhile, to analyze the data used data reduction procedures, data exposure and drawing conclusions. The process of analyzing research data is triangulation of data by cross-checking between interview, observation and documentation methods. In addition, cross-examination of data sources, from school principals, vice principals, administration, teachers of Islamic religious subjects, and students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of student discipline character based on strengthening spirituality at SD Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang. The approach used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, which involves observation, interviews, and documentation studies as data collection techniques. The results showed that the various spirituality activities implemented at school, such as congregational prayer, dhikr, religious studies, and prayer together, significantly contribute to the formation of students' disciplinary character. These activities teach time discipline, responsibility, and respect for applicable rules. However, challenges faced in their implementation include differences in student motivation, inconsistency in implementation by teachers, and the diversity of student backgrounds. Nevertheless, the strengthening of spirituality at SD Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang has proven to be effective in improving student discipline in various aspects of life. This research provides a new contribution by showing the importance of strengthening spirituality in disciplinary character education in elementary schools, which can be a reference for other schools in shaping student character holistically.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of HOTS-based LKPD on the material of Changes in Object Forms for grade IV elementary school students. The development model used is the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data were collected through interviews, validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and higher-order thinking tests (Pretest and posttest). The validation results showed a score of 91% from the material expert and 89.5% from the media expert, which is included in the very valid category. Regarding practicality, the teacher response questionnaire score was 94.2% and the students' 90%, indicating that the LKPD is efficient. The effectiveness of the LKPD is seen from the N-Gain result of 0.64, which is in the medium category. Thus, this HOTS-based LKPD is considered valid, practical, and effective enough to be used in learning science on the material of changes in the form of objects.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of Earth Rotation Diorama learning media on the critical thinking ability of grade VI students in elementary school. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. All participants in this study were students in grade VI of SD Negeri No 060909 Medan Denai. The data collection technique was carried out using research instruments in the form of questionnaires on the validity of questions and tests (pretest and posttest). The sampling technique in this study uses simple random sampling, with the sample used being 15 grade VI students who are divided into control groups and experiments groups to be given a pretest and a posttest. The data analysis is quantitative or statistical through validity, realism, difficulty level of questions, differentiation, data normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis test calculated using SPSS version 30. From this study, the results were obtained, from the posttest showed that the experimental class exceeded the control class. Students' critical thinking skills are tested at a real level = 0.05. Tallahassee (∝> 0, 855 > 0, 514). And the significant rate is 0.001 to 0.05. The data normality test showed that the pretest < posttest in the control class with a sig of 0.067, 0.05, and the experimental class with a sig of 0.144, 0.05, showed that the data followed a normal distribution. Because the results of the hypothesis test are less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the use of Earth Rotation Diorama media has proven to be efficient in improving critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Ukhuwah Islamiyah is an equivalent term for good social interaction between individuals in Islam. The concept of ukhuwah or brotherhood can be realized through guidance and counseling efforts. In the "world" this guidance and counseling effort is known as group guidance services. This paper aims to examine group guidance in improving ukhuwah Islamiyah through a gestalt approach with discussion techniques at Madrasah Aliyah Laboratory (MAL) UIN North Sumatra Medan. This research is focused on how the group guidance service efforts with discussion techniques in improving ukhuwah Islamiyah at MAL UIN North Sumatra Medan and what factors support and hinder the process. For this reason, a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method is appropriate to uncover empirical truths of research. The results of this study indicate that group counseling services with discussion techniques can improve student ukhuwah Islamiyah at MAL UIN North Sumatra Medan. This is indicated by (1) good interpersonal communication between students; (2) students' familiarity in finding solutions to shared problems; (3) tolerance of differences in argumentation; and (4) empathy for the situation felt by peers.
