Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between teachers’ strategies in using audiovisual media and students’ interest in listening comprehension achievement. The research used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The participants of this study were second- and fourth-semester students of the English Education Study Program in 2025 at the University of Jambi. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Google Form. This research aimed to see whether teachers' use of audiovisual media could improve students’ interest and performance in listening skills. The results showed that students who believed their teachers used interesting and effective audiovisual strategies were more interested in listening activities. The study also found a positive relationship between how teachers used media and the students’ listening comprehension scores. On the other hand, students who thought listening was difficult tended to get lower scores. Although students felt interested and saw the benefits of audiovisual media, these two factors did not directly affect their listening comprehension scores. This research highlights the importance of good teaching strategies to help students become more motivated and improve their listening skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pendorong perempuan bekerja serta dampak sosial dan ekonomi yang ditimbulkan dari keterlibatan perempuan sebagai pekerja di Perseroan Terbatas Perkebunan Nusantara V (PTPN V) di Kepenghuluan Pasir Putih Utara, Kecamatan Balai Jaya, Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Perempuan yang bekerja di sektor perkebunan, sebagian besar berstatus sebagai ibu rumah tangga, menunjukkan adanya pergeseran peran perempuan dalam rumah tangga, dari peran domestik menjadi peran ganda, yaitu mengurus rumah tangga sekaligus menjadi pencari nafkah tambahan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik sensus terhadap 35 responden. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan pengisian kuesioner, observasi dan wawancara, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama yang mendorong perempuan bekerja adalah pendapatan suami yang rendah, jumlah tanggungan keluarga, tingkat pendidikan, dan jarak tempuh yang dekat. Dampak sosialnya meliputi berkurangnya waktu untuk kegiatan sosial dan interaksi keluarga, namun status sosial meningkat. Secara ekonomi, terdapat peningkatan pendapatan keluarga, pemenuhan kebutuhan pendidikan anak, pola konsumsi rumah tangga serta kemampuan menabung meski terbatas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perempuan memiliki kontribusi penting terhadap ekonomi keluarga, meskipun tetap menghadapi tantangan dalam menjalankan peran ganda.

Abstract

Indonesia has an excellent opportunity to increase national economic growth by developing a creative economy. As one of the new alternatives to drive the national economy, the creative economy sector supports the creation of added value to domestic products and the developing creative services that can support Indonesia's economic growth. The use of online media is the right choice for entrepreneurs to develop the business they run. The public already knows many MSMEs, however, only among the owners and known by word of mouth. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers used objects for this research from the owners of SMEs themselves. Various ways of coaching MSME owners by implementing several strategies: digitally marketing products, creating packaging logos for MSMEs, and finally registering a business in OSS and creating a Business Identification Number.

Abstract

Biji Buah Pinang Muda (Semen Areca Catechu L.) merupakan salah satu sumber pangan fungsional, dimana bijinya mengandung tanin, polifenol dan alkaloid yang berperan sebagai antioksidan, serta memiliki kegunaan antara lain untuk konsumsi, bahan industri kosmetik,dan kesehatan.Untuk mngetahui efektivitas ekstrak etanol biji buah pinang muda (Semen Areca Catechu L.) Terhadap Jamur Candida Albicans. Penelitian ini yaitu eksperimental. Ekstrak etanol biji buah pinang muda dibuat secara maserasi. Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri diuji dengan metode difusi kertas cakram dengan variasi konsentrasi 20%, 30% dan 40% serta kontrol negatifnya adalah aquadest dan kontrol positif adalah ketoconazol.Hasil skrining senyawa fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak biji buah pinang muda mengandung flavonoid, saponin, dan alkaloid. Uji aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak biji buah pinang muda dari 3 variasi konsentrasi memiliki daya hambat yang sama dimana analisa yang menggunakan anova tidak memiliki efektivitas antijamur yang nyata dimana nilai p memiliki sig 0,029 < 0,05. Ektrak etanol biji buah pinang muda (Semen Areca Catechu L.) terbukti memiliki efektivitas Terhadap Jamur Candida Albicans.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly transformed the educational landscape, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This transformation has led to a shift in teacher authority, where teachers are no longer the sole source of knowledge but share their roles with digital media and online learning platforms. This study aims to examine the shift in the authority of Islamic education teachers in digital-based learning and the factors influencing this transformation. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this research analyzes various national and international scholarly articles related to digital learning, teacher authority, and Islamic education. The findings indicate that the shift in teacher authority is characterized by the increasing role of digital media, the transformation of teachers into facilitators, and the emergence of alternative religious authorities through social media and online platforms. Nevertheless, teachers remain essential in guiding students, validating religious knowledge, and shaping students’ moral and spiritual character. Therefore, strengthening digital competence and pedagogical skills is crucial to maintaining the authority and relevance of Islamic education teachers in the digital era. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Transformasi ini berdampak langsung pada pergeseran otoritas guru yang sebelumnya menjadi satu-satunya sumber pengetahuan, kini berbagi peran dengan media digital dan sumber belajar daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif bagaimana pergeseran otoritas guru PAI terjadi dalam konteks pembelajaran berbasis media digital, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif terhadap berbagai artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran otoritas guru PAI ditandai oleh meningkatnya peran teknologi sebagai sumber belajar, perubahan peran guru menjadi fasilitator, serta munculnya otoritas alternatif seperti media sosial dan platform digital keagamaan. Meskipun demikian, guru tetap memiliki peran strategis dalam membimbing, memvalidasi informasi, serta membentuk karakter dan nilai keislaman peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, penguatan kompetensi digital dan pedagogik guru PAI menjadi kebutuhan mendesak agar otoritas keilmuan dan moral tetap terjaga di era digital.

Abstract

BPJS Kesehatan is a government policy in the health sector, one of the BPJS Kesehatan programs is the procurement of hearing aids that have been regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Health using the NonINA-CBG Tarif. Hearing loss is a shared responsibility between the government and the community. The state plays a crucial role in ensuring access to health services for all citizens. This study aims to utilize BPJS Kesehatan's knowledge in the hearing aid procurement process using quantitative methods and descriptive approaches, sampling through purposive sampling techniques with a sample size of 78 respondents.The results of the study showed that the number of female respondents was higher, namely 60.3%. The highest age was in the 70-74 age group at 19.2%, the highest number of hearing disorders was known in moderate deafness (41-70 dB) at 46.2%. Patient knowledge of the existence of BPJS services was known to be 96.2% who knew about this service, as many as 78.2% felt helped using hearing aids and all respondents knew about how to use and service services if the hearing aid had problems. From this study, it is hoped that there will be more information about BPJS services for all BPJS Kesehatan service users, and the government can increase the NonINA-CBG tariff for hearing aids, so that they are available for various types of hearing disorders, and services for patients using hearing aids can be improved.

Abstract

Building balance and maintaining mental health in the waves of challenges faced by students is an important issue that requires serious attention. The level of student stress is closely related to the motivation to learn and the academic pressure they experience in campus life. This includes developing awareness and skills to face challenges and maintain emotional balance. The method we use is a descriptive qualitative method that aims to understand students’ perceptions of a particular phenomenon. Data collection techniques are carried out using semi-structured interview guidelines so that the data obtained are more focused and in-depth. The data sources used in this study were students of UIN Syekh Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan. Students use various strategies to maintain their mental well-being, ranging from being active, such as exercising, worshiping, and managing time, to telling close friends and family and seeking social support. Strengthening social support is also an important solution. Campuses need to build supportive communities through the formation of discussion groups, support groups, or healthy student organization activities. Students from difficult economic backgrounds must also receive special attention through adequate social scholarships and financial assistance. The results of the study show that many students face high mental and emotional burdens, which have an impact on learning motivation, social relations, and mental health. This study emphasizes the importance of institutional support and a campus environment that is responsive to students’ psychosocial needs in order to create a more humane and sustainable educational ecosystem.
