Abstract

Community service in Baru Village, Pulau Rakyat District, Asahan Regency aims to improve the quality of life of the community through education and empowerment programs. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a participatory approach, involving 14 students for 21 days. Data were collected through participant observation, interviews, FGDs, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in awareness of education and religion, public health, environmental cleanliness, and potential for economic empowerment. Education programs in schools and MDA increased active student participation, while religious activities strengthened Islamic values ​​in the community. Health and environmental cleanliness activities encouraged a healthy lifestyle and environmental awareness. Collaboration between the team, village government, and community was the key to the success of the program. Challenges such as time constraints and unpredictable weather were overcome through effective adaptation and management. Recommendations include follow-up programs, local cadre training, long-term collaboration, and periodic evaluation to ensure the sustainability of positive impacts in Baru Village.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the era of Industrial Revolution4.0 and Society 5.0 has brought major changes in the world of education, including in the field of IslamicReligious Education (PAI). This article aims to examine the transformation of the PAI learning model in thedigital era through a literature review approach to accredited scientific literature in the last five years. Theresults of the study show that PAI learning has shifted from a teacher-centered lecture-based model tostudent-centered learning that integrates digital technology such as the Learning Management System(LMS), educational videos, Islamic moral gamification, and virtual reality in worship simulations. Althoughdigitalization provides many opportunities to increase the effectiveness and engagement of learning,challenges such as low digital literacy, gaps in access to technology, and distortion of religious informationare also emerging. Therefore, a strategy is needed to strengthen the digital capacity of educators, developlearning materials based on religious moderation, and equalize access to technology to ensure that thetransformation of PAI learning in the digital era remains relevant, inclusive, and rooted in Islamic valuesrahmatan lil 'alamin.Keywords: Islamic Religious Education, Learning Transformation, Digital Era, Digital Literacy

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the role playing learning model can improve students’ speaking skills in Indonesian language lessons at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic elementary school) level. Initial observations showed that many fourth-grade students lacked confidence when speaking in public. They often appeared awkward, hesitant, and were not actively engaged in the learning process.The study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design. Data were collected before and after the implementation of the role playing model to assess any changes in students’ speaking abilities. All 24 fourth-grade students at MIS Madinatussalam were involved as research participants.Data collection methods included direct speaking tests, documentation, and performance assessments based on specific speaking skill indicators. To analyze the results, an independent sample t-test was conducted using the SPSS software to determine whether there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. The findings revealed that the role playing model had a positive effect on students' speaking skills. This was shown by an increase in the average score from 18.04 (pre-test) to 22.33 (post-test). The significance value of 0.00 indicates that the improvement is statistically significant.Based on these results, it can be concluded that the role playing learning model is effective in improving the speaking skills of fourth-grade students in Indonesian language instruction.

Abstract

Kebutuhan gizi ibu hamil merupakan komponen yang sangat penting dalam kehamilan dan harus mendapat perhatian khusus selama masa kehamilan. Kurangnya informasi yang disampaikan saat kunjungan antenatal sering kali bukan pada aspek utama komunikasi, informasi, dan edukasi (KIE), melainkan lebih menekankan pada komplikasi yang mungkin terjadi dalam kehamilan. Dampak buruk yang dapat muncul akibat kekurangan gizi antara lain Kekurangan Energi Kronis (KEK), anemia, serta bahaya bagi janin seperti Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR), Bayi Berat Lahir Rendah (BBLR), dan lain-lain. Upaya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang gizi meliputi pendidikan kesehatan, seperti kegiatan edukasi yang dilakukan melalui penyebaran informasi agar masyarakat sadar, mengetahui, memahami, serta bersedia dan terbiasa melaksanakan anjuran terkait kesehatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang gizi kepada ibu hamil guna meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa dari sekitar 30 ibu hamil yang mengikuti, dilakukan penilaian pretest dan posttest, dan terbukti terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan. Sebanyak 23 orang (76,7%) ibu hamil memiliki pengetahuan yang baik, sedangkan 23,3% ibu hamil memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai gizi ibu hamil.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah media pembelajaran berbasis Information and Communication Technology (ICT) dapat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fiqih di MTs Persiapan Negeri 4 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas VIII MTs Persiapan Negeri 4 Medan, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII-2 dan siswa kelas VIII-3 yang masing-masing berjumlah 36 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada kelas control dan eksperimen diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kelas eksperimen sebagai kelas yang menggunakan media pembelajaran Information and Communication Technology (ICT) memperoleh dampak positif dari penggunaan media tersebut karena memiliki nilai rata-rata di atas kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis independent sample t-test diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai signifikansi (sig.2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, karena nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara media pembelajaran berbasis Information and Communication Technology (ICT) terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fiqih di MTs Persiapan Negeri 4 Medan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems of the low value of the student's character on SDN Gedanganak 01, which does not use attributes complete when the flag ceremony, taking out the trash is not in place, students who do not do their homework. The formulation of the problem is whether scouting extracurricular effect on the character values ​​of elementary school students. This study aims to determine the effect of scouting extracurricular on the character values ​​of student at SDN Gedanganak 01, District East Ungaran. The method used is quantitative. The study population were students of class IV and class V SD Negeri Gedanganak 01 with total 51 students. Data collection techniques in this study was the observation. Research hypothesis testing using t test. The results showed Scouting extracurricular effect on the character value of students at SDN Gedanganak 01. This is evidenced by the results of the analysis of the t-test is equal to 0.000 as significant value. The significant value of 0.000 ≤ α (0.05). So the hypothesis which says scouting extracurricular affect to character value of students at SDN Gedanganak 01, District East Ungaran accepted

Abstract

Situasi Pandemi Covid-19 membuat banyak perubahan seperti di dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidik dan peserta didik harus menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan ini. Biasanya proses belajar mengajar dilakukan secara tatap muka namun sekarang pembelajaran dilakukan secara online atau dalam jaringan (daring). Tidak semua guru siap menghadapi perubahan seperti ini karena kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran daring juga tidak maksimal. Untuk itu perlu diberikan pelatihan kepada guru melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring seperti pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi yufidz kids, pixabay, kinemaster dan desain materi pembelajarn menarik buat anak dengan power point. Pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat dilakukan mulai dari koordinasi dengan IGRA Kecamatan Patumbak-Biru-Biru dan RA Nurul Izzah sebagai tempat pelaksanaan pelatihan. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah pelatihan selesai yaitu meningkatnya kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring.

Abstract

Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran sangat membantu perkembangan anak-anak khususnya di PAUD. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu guru memiliki kemampuan dalam  mengelola pembelajaran dengan baik melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran bergambar. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka diadakan pelatihan membuat media bergambar melalui program kemitraan masyarakat. Kegiatan yang dilakukan dimulai dari persiapan diantaranya koordinasi dengan mitra kegiatan seminar media pembelajaran, kemudian mengadakan pelatihan teknik menggambar dan pelatihan membuat media bergambar. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan program kegiatan masyarakat ini ditunjukkan dengan kemampuan guru-guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran bergambar yang nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan guru dalam proses pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini di dalam kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to improve all aspects of early childhood development. The study employs a modified Research and Development (R&D) model based on Borg and Gall’s framework, comprising six stages: identifying potential and problems, collecting initial data, designing media, validating media, revising the design, and conducting product trials. Media developed using Adobe Illustrator software that can create custom letters, gradient effects, and textures. Was tested on 56 children at TK ABA Medan Helvetia District. Data collection involved two types of questionnaires: media validation and children's comprehension assessment. Validators and teachers evaluated each questionnaire using a checklist scale. Data analysis employed qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the effectiveness of educational media. Results demonstrated a significant improvement in children’s development with pre-test scores averaging 25,6 and post-test scores at 33,6. This shows that the Islamic-based Vitruvius design learning media can improve child development. This research can also be a reference for early childhood education teachers to use interesting learning media according to the child's developmental stage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Independent Curriculum on the critical and creative thinking skills of early childhood students, with technology as a mediating variable, in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions in Medan City. The research approach uses a quantitative, explanatory design. The population in this study was four early childhood education institutions included in the driving schools. The sampling technique was a census, with the entire population sampled, totaling 125 people. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using analysis models tracked with the SmartPLS software. The study's results indicate that implementing the Independent Curriculum has a positive, significant effect on children's critical and creative thinking skills. Technological support has been shown to significantly mediate the relationship between implementing the Independent Curriculum and improving children's critical and creative thinking skills. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating technology into the implementation of the Independent Curriculum to encourage the development of early childhood potential, especially in higher-order thinking. These findings provide practical implications for teachers, parents, and Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions in optimizing innovative learning strategies based on the Independent Curriculum with technological support.
