Abstract

Peran orangtua dalam mengasuh anak di era digital sangat penting dan menjadi yang utama. Perangkat teknologi seperti gadget sangat dengan mudah digunakan dan dipahami anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penggunaan gadget pada anak membutuhkan pengawasan dan pendampingan yang disebut digital parenting. Penerapan digital parenting dalam penggunaan gadget pada anak dapat menstimulasi perkembangan moral anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran digital parenting terhadap perkembangan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan subjek yang berjumlah 5 orang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa peran digital parenting pada perkembangan moral anak yaitu anak lebih disiplin, mampu menahan diri dan kemauannya sendiri, anak mudah beradaptasi dengan orang lain apalagi ketika sama-sama  memiliki tontonan dan game yang disukai, percaya diri dalam mengungkapkan pendapatnya dan bercerita, bertanggungajwab dengan aturan yang telah ditetapkan, jujur dengan memberitahukan apa saja yang dilakukan pada gadgetnya juga mandiri

Abstract

Tingginya kasus kekerasan dan pelecehan seksual pada anak disetiap daerah karena minimnya pendidikan seks yang diajarkan kepada anak secara tepat. Guru harus memberikan pendidikan seks pada anak, namun masih banyak guru yang kurang memahami pendidikan seks seperti apa yang seharusnya diberikan pada anak sesuai dengan usianya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengetahuan guru PAUD tentang pendidikan seks pada anak sehingga pendidikan seks tidak lagi menjadi hal yang tabu dan memalukan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei dengan mengumpulkan data responden melalui angket pada seluruh guru dari 42 TK ABA yang ada di Kota Medan. Analisis data menggunakan cross tab untuk melihat pertingkatannya pengaruh dependen sama independen dan regresi berganda dengan mengconvert data ordinal ke interval. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa setiap usia guru memiliki kategori pengetahuan yang berbeda dan guru yang berlatar pendidikan sarjana pendidikan anak usia dini memiliki pengetahuan yang lebih baik dalam pendidikan seks anak dibandingkan kategori pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of parenting patterns on the social behavior of young children attending TK ABA 21 and TK ABA 07, Medan City. The problem focuses on the importance of parenting education, especially material about ideal parenting patterns. In order to approach this problem, theoretical references from Baron and Byrne (Habel, 2015) regarding social behavior and Hurlock (1999) regarding parenting patterns are used. Data was collected through a research sample of 50 parents of students from both kindergartens using instruments in the form of a parenting style scale and an early childhood social behavior scale and analyzed quantitatively. This study concludes that there is an influence of parental parenting on early childhood social behavior with an R square value of 0.464, with this value meaning that 46.4% of the variation in early childhood social behavior is influenced by parental parenting. Meanwhile, the remaining 52.5% is influenced by other variables outside this research. Democratic parenting has a positive and significant influence on early childhood social behavior, and authoritarian parenting positively affects early childhood social behavior. Still, it is not statistically significant, and permissive parenting negatively affects early childhood social behavior and is statistically significant.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Garuda Book, a tailored educational tool for instilling the Pancasila Student Profile in early childhood education within Indonesia's Independent Curriculum framework. Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) approach, this research involved creating, implementing, and evaluating the Garuda Book in an early childhood educational setting at RA Nurul Hadina. The study's methodology incorporated the development of project activities linked to the curriculum, including "I Love the Earth" and "I Love Indonesia," with the book designed for durability and child appeal. Data collection entailed various questionnaires assessing media and material validity and the effectiveness of the Garuda Book in imparting Pancasila values. Results indicated a significant improvement in children's understanding and embodiment of Pancasila values post-intervention, as evidenced by increased scores in assessments related to faith, diversity, cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. However, challenges such as teachers' limited understanding of the independent curriculum were noted, necessitating further training. This study's findings underscore the potential of contextually relevant educational tools like the Garuda Book in early childhood education, contributing substantially to pedagogical practices aimed at value formation. Future research could explore such tools' long-term impacts and adaptability across diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

Cases of violence and sexual harassment that occur in early childhood in various regions are due to the lack of sex education being taught to children. Family and teachers as the closest environment must provide knowledge about sex education to children. However, there are still many teachers who do not understand the right sex education to be taught in early childhood. This study aims to see the extent of teachers' knowledge of early childhood sex education. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis method, on teachers in 42 ABA Kindergartens throughout Medan City. The results showed that the various educational backgrounds of PAUD teachers influenced the level of knowledge of sex education in children. Teachers with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education have better knowledge of early childhood sex education than teachers with other educational backgrounds

Abstract

Stunting merupakan salah satu kasus yang menjadi masalah besar dan membutuhkan penangan serius dan mendapat perhatian pemerintah menjadi pogram perioritas nasional. Pada penelitian ini sumber data primer adalah kader posyandu yang memberikan informasi mengenai peran kader dalam upaya penanganan stunting dan sumber data sekunder didapatkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di posyandu Cinta Kasih Desa Manunggal Kecamatan Labuhan Deli. Setiap bulan dilakukanpenimbangan anak dan memberikan vitamin A pada bulan 2 dan bulan 8. Jika tidak ada yang masyarakat yang datang untuk pemberian vitamin, pihak kader mendatangi rumah orangtua. Lalu, memberi makanan setiap bulan dengan menu yang berbeda dan setiap bulan pastinya ada buah-buahan serta melakukan sosialisasi stunting. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kader posyandu berperan aktif dalam memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat demi menurunnya angka stunting

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas program pelatihan dan sosialisasi penggunaan media sosial dalam meningkatkan penjualan produk UMKM di Desa Aek Loba Afdeling 1. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif terhadap pelaku UMKM yang mengikuti program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam penjualan produk UMKM setelah program. Sebelum pelatihan, penjualan terbatas di lingkungan desa, namun setelah pelatihan, produk dapat dijangkau oleh konsumen di luar desa. Keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam menggunakan media sosial untuk pemasaran juga mengalami peningkatan, yang berdampak pada bertambahnya pelanggan baru dan loyalitas pelanggan. Simpulan, Program ini membuktikan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial dan teknologi digital dapat secara efektif memperluas pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing UMKM, memberikan contoh nyata bagi pelaku UMKM lain untuk mengadopsi strategi serupa. Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem that can have a negative impact on student development, both physically and psychologically. This research aims to examine and analyze efforts to create good anti-bullying habits at Panca Budi Middle School in Medan. Using qualitative descriptive methods, this research explores the strategies and programs implemented in schools to create a safe and bullying-free school environment. Data was obtained through interviews with teachers, students, as well as observations in the field. The research results that the application of good habits as a form of implementing of PAI, such as socialization activities, psychological approaches, and intensive supervision, has succeeded in reducing bullying rates and creating a positive culture in schools.

Abstract

KKN Mandiri in Gongsol Village, Merdeka District, Karo Regency, aims to empower the community through the digitalization of MSME marketing. The implemented programs include entrepreneurship socialization, savings education, and the introduction of social media as a marketing tool. Using observation and documentation methods, students identified local potential and designed programs tailored to the community's needs. This activity successfully increased community participation and had a positive impact on their well-being and quality of life. Despite facing challenges such as low participation and weather factors, this KKN successfully strengthened MSME potential and contributed sustainably to the development of Gongsol Village
