Abstract

Pentingnya wadah untuk pengelolaan emosi mahasiswa menjadi salag satu hal yang harus diperhatikan guna mencegah terjadinya hal yang tidak diinginkan dan mahasiswa dapat memiliki wadahyang aman dan tertruktur untuk melupakan emosi. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia UNRI untuk memfasilitasi mahasiswa terhadap kebutuhan wadah yang aman dan terstruktur yang dapat menjembatani mahasiswa. Terdapat 5 tahapan dalam melakukan pengabian. Dengan pengabdian ini diharapkan mahasiswa merasa lebih nyaman dan terhindar dari berbagai kasus mental yang mengganggu perkuliahan.

Abstract

Buku pegangan siswa untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris kelas X SMA tidak memuat materi kumpulan frase yang dimaknai ke dalam satu kata bahasa Inggris. Oleh karena, digunakan media ganda yakni papan tulis dan bahan ajar sederhana yang berisi kumpulan frase dari berbagai perspektif yang masih harus diisi dengan satu kata sebagai sinonomnya dalam bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran memaknai frase bahasa Inggris menggunakan metode tanya-jawab melalui media ganda; 2) sama-tidaknya persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran memaknai frase bahasa Inggris menggunakan metode tanya-jawab melalui media ganda per kelompok sampel. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Bintan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Populasi penelitian ini adalah para siswa kelas X yang mengikuti pembelajaran memaknai frase bahasa Inggris menggunakan metode tanya-jawab melalui media ganda. Mereka berjumlah 71 siswa; terbagi dari 36 kelas X.1 dan 35 kelas X.2. Sampel ditetapkan sebanyak 61 siswa; terbadi dari 31 siswa kelas X.1 dan 30 kelas X.2. Untuk mengumpulkan data persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran memaknai frase bahasa Inggris menggunakan metode tanya-jawab melalui media ganda digunakan instrumen kuesioner. Untuk memvalidasi data dan hasil analisis data digunakan daftar cek-ricek. Data persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran memaknai frase bahasa Inggris menggunakan metode tanya-jawab melalui media ganda dianalis menggunakan prosedur statistik deskriptif yakni frekuensi dan persen. Hasil penelitian: 1) persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran memaknai frase bahasa Inggris menggunakan metode tanya-jawab melalui media ganda berkategori sangat suka; 2) persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran memaknai frase bahasa Inggris menggunakan metode tanya-jawab melalui media ganda tidak berbeda per kelompok sampel.

Abstract

The rapid digitalization of education demands that Indonesian language teachers strengthen their digital competencies, especially in developing L1 writing skills through innovative teaching strategies. This study examines the impact of a community-based professional development program centered on Padlet integration for Indonesian language instruction. Utilizing a convergent mixed-methods action research design, 29 senior high school teachers in Pekanbaru, Riau Province, participated in a two-day intensive training, followed by six weeks of classroom implementation and ongoing mentoring. Data were collected through pre- and post-intervention assessments using the DigCompEdu Check-in instrument, lesson plan quality rubrics, classroom observation protocols, analysis of a student writing corpus (N = 472), and semi-structured interviews. Results indicated significant improvements across all measured outcomes. Teachers achieved notable gains in digital competence (ΔM = +12.83, p < .001, d = 1.24), lesson plan quality (ΔM = +2.23, p < .01, d = 0.67), and classroom implementation. Student writing performance also improved substantially (ΔM = +8.99, p < .001, d = 0.73), with increased lexical diversity, cohesion, and collaborative engagement. Qualitative data highlighted enhanced teacher confidence, ongoing peer collaboration, and improved pedagogical practices. The findings demonstrate that community-based Padlet training effectively elevates digital competence and transforms L1 writing instruction, offering empirical support for scalable professional development models that blend digital tools with pedagogical innovation in Indonesian education.

Abstract

Abstract

His study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the use of spelling in essays written byDiploma 3 Taxation students who are in their 5th semester at the University of Riau.The importance of correct spelling cannot be underestimated, as spelling errors cansignificantly affect the reader's understanding of the content and intent of the text. Thisstudy uses a qualitative method with a document analysis approach, in which the essaysproduced by the students serve as the primary objects of analysis. Data collection wascarried out by randomly selecting 44 essays from students in the 5th semester. Theresults of the analysis indicate various types of spelling errors frequently made bystudents, including errors in the use of capital letters, prefixes, suffixes, confixes, andcommas that do not conform to the rules of the Enhanced Spelling System Edition 5(EYD 5). This research is expected to make a significant contribution to efforts toimprove students' writing skills. By increasing awareness of the importance of correctspelling, it is hoped that students will better understand and apply the appropriatewriting rules, thereby producing written works that are not only good in terms ofcontent but also in terms of writing technique.Keyword: Spelling Erros, Essay Text

Abstract

This study aims to measure the impact of technology integration in differentiated learning on student learning outcomes in elementary school. Using a quantitative experimental design with a pre-test post-test approach, this study involved 120 students of School 231 Sukaasih who were divided into two groups: an experimental group that used technology in differentiated learning and a control group that used traditional methods. Data was collected through pre-test, post-test, and student engagement questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using t-tests for group comparison and linear regression to analyze the relationship between student engagement and learning outcomes. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with a higher average post-test score than the control group. In addition, higher student engagement in technology-based learning was positively associated with improved learning outcomes. These findings indicate that the use of technology in differentiated learning can improve students' understanding of the material and increase their engagement in the learning process. The implication of this study is the importance of integrating technology in education to improve the quality of learning, but this requires infrastructure support and training for teachers to maximize its benefits.
