Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian isi rumen dan daun indigofera terhadap konsumsi ransum dan pertambahan bobot badan itik lokal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, tiap perlakuan terdiri dari 5 ekor itik untuk perlakuan. Adapun formulasi pakan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100% dedak padi tampa ada penambahan isi rumen dan daun indigofera (P0), 70% dedak padi + 20% isi rumen + 10% daun indigofera (P1), 70% dedak padi + 15% isi rumen + 15% daun indigofera (P2), 70% dedak padi + 10% isi rumen + 20% daun indigofera (P3). Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian limbah rumen dan daun indigofera tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai konsumsi tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan bobot badan. Adapun perlakuan terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah P3 dengan penambahan isi rumen sebanyak 10% dan daun indigofera sebanya 20%.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penambahan ekstrak daun pandan wangi (Pandanus ammarillyfolis Roxb) dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda terhadap nilai organoleptik dan kadar lemak telur itik asin. Penelitian menggunakan 60 butir telur itik dengan umur maksimal 48 jam atau umur dua hari, abu gosok, garam, air dan ekstrak daun pandan wangi. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan ulangan sebanyak tiga kali dan empat taraf perlakuan yaitu kontrol, 10% ekstrak daun pandan, 20% ekstrak daun pandan wangi dan 30% ekstrak daun pandan wangi. Perlakuan penambahan ekstrak daun pandan wangi dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap nilai organoleptik dan kadar lemak telur itik asin. Dari hasil penelitian nilai organoleptik dan kadar lemak yang terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan penambahan ekstrak daun pandan wangi konsentrasi 30% dengan nilai organoleptik dari tekstur 4.22 (kenyal), aroma 4.48 (tidak amis), dan tingkat kesukaan 4.33 (suka) dan kadar lemak (41.13%).

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan Untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penambahan Tepung Murbei (Morus Alba) Pada Pakan Ayam Broiler (Domestic Gallus) Terhadap Konsumsi Dan Pertambahan Berat Badan dengan menggunakan metode rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. PO: Tanpa perlakuan kontrol, P1: Tepung murbei 1%, P2: tepung murbei 3% dan P3: Tepung murbei 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung murbei pada level yang berbeda berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi pakan dan pertambahan berat badan ayam broiler. Rata-rata konsumsi pakan ayam broiler P0 (78,19 gr/ekor/hari), P1 (79,43 gr/ekor/hari), P2 (76,81 gr/ekor/hari), dan P3 (68,21 gr/ekor/hari), sedangkan pertambahan berat badan ayam broiler P0 (42,59 gr/ekor/hari), P1 (43,51 gr/ekor/hari), P2 (41,51 gr/ekor/hari), P3 (33,16 gr/ekor/hari). Adapun perlakuan terbaik yaitu pada perlakuan P1 dengan penambahan tepung limbah wortel sebanyak 1%.

Abstract

The addition of golden banana puree (Musa acuminata) as a prebiotic has been hypothesized to enhance the growth of lactic acid bacteria in kefir. This study aimed to determine the effects of adding golden banana puree on the pH value, total lactic acid bacteria (LAB) count, and viscosity of kefir. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatments included the addition of 0% (P0), 6% (P1), 8% (P2), and 10% (P3) banana puree. The observed variables were pH value, total LAB, and viscosity. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) when a significant treatment effect was detected. The results indicated that the addition of golden banana puree had a very significant effect (P0.01) on the pH value, total LAB count, and viscosity of kefir. The study concluded that increasing the concentration of golden banana puree leads to a higher total LAB count and viscosity, while inversely lowering the pH value.

Abstract

One of the things that is very important in the growth of broiler chickens is quality feed or appropriate feed that is rich in nutrients. This research aims to determine the protein and crude fiber content of broiler chicken (Gallus domesticus) feed given mulberry leaf flour (Morus alba) with different levels. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments P0 (as Control), P1, P2 and P3. Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 12 units, the levels of feed were as follows. P0: Without treatment 0%. P1: Mulberry leaf meal 1% of the total feed. P2: Mulberry leaf flour 3% of the feed amount. P3: Mulberry leaf flour 5% of the feed amount. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the addition of mulberry leaf flour (Morus alba) to crude protein in broiler chicken rations has a significant effect, while crude fiber has no significant effect. The best treatment for crude protein and crude fiber content is as follows. The best treatment for crude protein content was treatment P1 (28.2%) with the addition of 1% mulberry leaf flour. The lowest treatment for crude fiber content was in treatment P1 (6.40%) with the addition of 1% mulberry leaf flour.
