Abstract

Jamaah Majelis Ta’lim Nurul Iman merupakan salah satu komunitas masyarakat yang memiliki kegiatan positif dalam keseharian dan juga terdiri dari berbagai jenis profesi. Kegiatan rutin dilakukan setiap malam Jumat termasuk adanya sosialisasi adanya literasi halal. Pentingnya sosialisasi literasi halal dikarenakan terdapat beberapa yang merupakan para pelaku usaha dengan skala UMKM untuk melakukan sertifikasi halal secara self-declare yang sudah disediakan oleh pemerintah. Kurangnya literasi menyebabkan kurangnya akses dan pengetahuan masyarakat sehingga diperlukan sosialisasi langsung dari ahlinya yakni Pusat Studi Halal (PSH). Metode yang digunakan yakni adanya pelatihan dan sosisalisasi terkait literasi halal dan proses mendapatkan sertifikasi halal yang dilaksanakan di desa Gejikan, Gagaksipat, Boyolali pada 22 Juni 2023. Hasil dari pengabdian dilakukan olehtim Fakultas Syariah UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta ini diikuti oleh 50 jamaah yang mengikuti sosialisasi dan antusias dengan materi tersebut terbukti dengan adanya beberapa pertanyaan. Terdapat 5 dari 50 jamaah yang memiliki produk UMKM dan ikut melakukan proses sertifikasi halal melalui proses self-declare yang didampingi oleh PSH. Penyampaian pengetahuan dan sosialisasi dilakukan dengan baik, meningkatnya kemampuan keilmuan dan prkatik terkait halal.

Abstract

An Islamic boarding school, known as "Pondok Pesantren," serves as an institution for religious education and a place for practical engagement in social, artistic, and economic activities. These schools have the potential for economic development and the realization of economic self-reliance through their cooperative units, referred to as "Koperasi Pondok Pesantren." However, many Pesantren have yet to fully harness their potential due to a lack of knowledge in strategic management. Strategic management can be implemented under the guidance of leadership to achieve the institution's vision and mission. Riyadlotut Thalabah Islamic Boarding School is one such Pesantren that possesses a cooperative unit (Kopontren). This research aims to assess the extent to which strategic management and stakeholder theory are applied in this context. Through a qualitative descriptive analysis method, which includes interviews and primary reports, the study has revealed several factors that influence the economic self-reliance of the Pesantren. The findings indicate that the planning function is the most influential aspect in achieving economic self-reliance for the Pesantren. Additionally, strong leadership from the school's administrators, teachers (ustadz/ustadzah), students (santri), stakeholders, an effective information system, and a viable market are all crucial factors in realizing the economic self-reliance of Riyadlotut Thalabah Islamic Boarding School in the economic field.

Abstract

The rapid rate of population growth in urban areas, especially, can cause environmental problems, one of which is a decrease in the availability of agricultural land. On the other hand, global problems such as changes in world temperature and extreme climate change can disrupt stability in maintaining food availability. In this millennial period, many businesses have developed to fulfill their own food needs, starting from the application of theory to technology. One method that is being widely used by farmers in Indonesia is hydroponics. The research, which was conducted in a closed room in a house in Mojokerto for 10 days, experimented with growing pakcoy hydroponically using several control integrations in the form of indoor photosynthesis, automatic nutrient dosing, liquid level monitoring, and air circulation regulation. Based on the implementation of the research using a programmable logic controller, which compared the results of indoor and outdoor planting, it was found that the temperature of the planting environment and the temperature of the water in the indoor growing media remained in the range of 24℃-29℃, the air humidity was 63% -96%, the nutrient density was 789-1298 PPM, and leaf growth of 1-2 strands per day. Yields of pakcoy plants on indoor growing media give maximum results on leaf growth and leaf color, but are not better than pakcoy plants on outdoor growing media or those exposed to direct sunlight. Abstract

The lack of awareness of workers in the importance of occupational safety and health (K3) makes the high risk of work accidents in Indonesia. Especially in the highlands, workers have a risk of developing hypothermia due to extreme temperatures. The purpose of this research in designing a wearpack that can provide external heat to the user's body using a heating pad that can control the temperature automatically using fuzzy logic control mamdani method which will be processed using ESP-32 Dev Kit as a microcontroller. Based on the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the design of the device made is in accordance with the expected specifications where the device is able to change the temperature on the heating pad based on the output of the fuzzy logic control calculation in the form of PWM. In testing of a temperature input of 27°C and a bpm of 61, the PWM output on the L289N driver is obtained with a time constant of 1,63 seconds and a steady state gain of 5,82 %/V with an output voltage of 2.54 volts. It can be concluded that the tool is able to issue PWM output in accordance with the input of the two sensors after going through fuzzy logic calculations. Abstract

Phototherapy is one of the processes to overcome jaundice that usually occurs in premature babies, namely by providing blue light. Jaundice or hyperbilirubinemia is one of the problems or disorders in babies who experience premature birth. One of the important things in providing phototherapy is that the intensity of the light given greatly affects the effectiveness of the process.Therefore, it is necessary to control the light intensity to keep it as desired. In this research, the light intensity control system in phototherapy uses a BH1750 sensor as a sensor to detect light intensity and fuzzy logic control is used to keep the light intensity produced in the incubator within the required range, which is 19-24.5 lux. The fuzzy control used is the Sugeno method with 3 stages, namely fuzzification, rule inference, and defuzzification. The result of the system response is the light intensity as required. Testing is done by setting a set point at a light intensity of 22 lux where the settling time is obtained around 8 seconds, there is no overshoot, and has a steady state error below 5%, which is 2.27%. Abstract

Indonesia, as the fourth most populous country in the world, faces serious challenges related to the issue of plastic waste. With a total population reaching 273.8 million in 2021, Indonesia is declared as the world's second largest contributor to plastic waste after China. Every year, approximately 3.2 million tons of plastic waste are poorly managed, with much of it ending up in the ocean. This is exacerbated by the low percentage of plastic waste recycling in Indonesia, which is less than 5%. One of the most common types of plastic waste is plastic bottles, particularly those made of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). It is estimated that over 580 billion PET bottles were produced and consumed worldwide in 2021. Recognizing this, plastic waste, especially PET bottles, becomes a promising recycling target. Therefore, a PET filament maker machine made from recycled bottles was designed. This research focuses on designing a temperature control system for the hotend of the filament maker machine using recycled bottles. In this study, a PID controller was used with parameter determination using the Ziegler-Nichols method, specifically the first method known as the reaction curve method. The test results indicate that the temperature control system can function effectively in maintaining the system response according to the desired setpoint values, with PID controller parameter values of Kp = 27.51, Ki = 1.06, and Kd = 178.8. The system response has a settling time of 2,350 seconds, a steady-state error of 0.2%, an overshoot of 12.74%, and a recovery time of 71 seconds when subjected to disturbances. Abstract

The development of an automatic goods sorting system utilizing Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) technology on the SiemensS7-300 PLC is an innovative step to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the process of goods distribution. This system utilizes acamera sensor, Arduino Uno microcontroller, ESP32 microcontroller, Siemens S7-300 PLC, and actuators to classify and separategoods automatically based on their characteristics. An experimental research method with a quantitative approach was used toevaluate the effectiveness of this system. The implementation of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) in the Siemens S7-300 PLCusing Ladder Diagram as the programming language can improve the separation criteria by considering relevant features of thegoods data. System testing shows that the use of CNN on the PLC can achieve a classification accuracy of up to 99.35% in 25epochs. These results indicate that the integration of CNN in the Siemens S7-300 PLC can enhance the performance of theautomatic goods sorting system, reduce the risk of errors, and improve operational efficiency in modern supply chains. Abstract

In this study, the authors conducted simulations to simplify the algorithm contained in the SVM so that performance can be improved while maintaining its low complexity. Tests were conducted using simulations on MATLAB/Simulink software. Fromthe test results, it is known that the execution speed of the simplified SVM is 0.3 seconds faster than the conventional SVM. In addition, there is a slight decrease in torque ripple by 6% in the simplified SVM. From the results of all tests, the use of simplified PI-DTC is able to reduce torque ripple and reduce PI-DTC complexity. Keywords: PI-DTC, SVM, torque ripple, complexity, Simulink

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya zaman, kebutuhan akan teknologi menjadi semakin kompleks. Permintaan akan teknologi terutama kebutuhan akan adanya alat otomatis sekala kecil untuk menunjang kebutuhan industri rumahan yang membutuhkan alat otomatis dengan desain sederhana dan praktis dalam penggunaan maupun pengoprasian alat tersebut. Dalam dunia industri rumahan dibutuhkan alat pemotong kayu, bertolak dari alat yang sudah ada saat ini dalam industri meubel sekala rumahan, masih menggunakan alat konvensional dalam pengoperasiaanya, adapun alat otomatis yang sedikit moderen masyarakat sering menyebut dengan istilah mesin potong kayu, yang sudah menggunakan motor DC dalam pengoperasiaanya, mesin potong ini masih memiliki banyak kekurangan mengenai kepresisiannya, dalam pengerjaanya masih terbatas. Belakangan ini mesin potong kayu semakin popoler, keberadaan alat ini sangat memudahkan tukang kayu pada saat memotong kayu. Pada motor DC dilakukan tuning dengan hasil parameter Kp=6,209 Ki=0,395 dan Kd=4,65, dengan rise time 1,75 detik, overshoot 0,95%, settling time 3 detik. Kata Kunci— Meja Kerja, Motor DC, PID.

Abstract

Cold storage is a room for storing a product with a temperature that can be adjusted to suit the needs of the product. Properstorage is recommended to maintain product quality in the hands of consumers. The freshness of the product on delivery depends on temperature being less than 25oC. This study was conducted with the aim of observing the effect of storage temperature on the quality of products during shipment from the manufacturer to the hands of the consumer. Analysis of product storage on cold storage can maintain freshness and good quality of product. To condition the room temperature in the required batas, cold storage uses a steam compression refrigeration system to cool it down. Refrigeration can also be said to be a process of transferring heat from a material or room to another material or room (Ilyas, 1993). Hydrocarbon refrigerants are a sustainable solution as an environmentally friendly alternative, but have flammable properties. In order to overcome the risk of potential fire, advanced safety technologies such as PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) are required. The system is designed to be able to control temperature using the Ziegler-Nichols PID tuning method. To control it, a secondary controller (control valve) and a primary controller (temperature) are needed, where in this research the first Ziegler-Nichols method was used.The PLC programming method in this research is used for security purposes. The system is designed to be able to automaticallystop in cases of leaks. The test results show that the system can run according to the limits set with high pressure values of 161-249, low pressure 17-29, current <50, and voltage <380. Thus, PLC technology not only increases operational efficiency, but also ensures that the use of hydrocarbon refrigerants is carried out with the maximum level of safety.
