Abstract

Energi cahaya matahari merupakan sumber energi alternatif yang bersih, tidak berpolusi, aman, dan dengan persediaantidak terbatas. Energi cahaya yang dihasilkan matahari dapat dikonversi menjadi energi listrik dengan menggunakan kemampuansolar cell pada panel surya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan sistem tracking cahaya matahari pada panelsurya untuk mengoptimalkan orientasi panel terhadap posisi matahari (pada sudut altitude). Perangkat solar tracker menggunakansensor cahaya photodiode, sensor suhu DS18B20, dan real time clock (RTC) untuk menghasilkan suatu sistem tracking cahayamatahari yang efektif. Pengendalian solar tracker menggunakan metode fuzzy logic controller Takagi – Sugeno yangmemungkinkan sistem beradaptasi secara dinamis terhadap perubahan kondisi lingkungan. Hasil pengujian sistem solar trackermenunjukkan data tegangan dan arus listrik yang dihasilkan panel surya dan dikonversi menjadi daya listrik dan energi listrik.Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panel surya dengan solar tracker memiliki peningkatan energi yangdihasilkan sebesar 19,64%. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kinerja dari panel surya dalammengkonversi energi cahaya matahari menjadi energi listrik.Kata Kunci—Energi Cahaya Matahari, Solar Tracker, Energi Listrik, Fuzzy Logic Controller.

Abstract

The design of a Sequential Control System Algorithm for the Syrup Production Machine using PLC aims to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in production. In this research, the control algorithm is designed to automate various stages, including the transfer from truck to tank, heating, mixing of raw materials, and filling of the final product into packaging. Data collection was carried out through the simulation of a device created by the author, where sensors such as level, pressure, and temperature are integrated to detect operational conditions in real-time. The system then responds automatically to maintain product quality and minimize human error. The research results show that the designed system functions according to its capabilities, as demonstrated through checking the timeline diagram and validating against the truth table. The implementation of PLCbased control can improve production performance, reduce cycle time, and increase material filling accuracy while maintaining process stability and energy efficiency. Abstract

This study discusses the application of Power Factor Correction (PFC) boost converter in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) to reduce Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) in a single-phase power system. Non-linear loads commonly used in electronic devices cause harmonic distortion that has a negative impact on power quality. By utilizing a PFC boost converter, this study aims to achieve THD reduction according to the IEEE 519-2014 standard. Testing was carried out using simulations on the Simulink Matlab R2021a software to compare a single-phase rectifier circuit and a single-phase rectifier circuit PFC boost converter with voltage and current control. The results of the simulation show that the application of the PFC boost converter successfully reduces THD significantly to below 5% at certain loads. From the results of all tests, PFC can reduce harmonic distortion,improve power efficiency and waveform quality, and show significant differences in the performance of single-phase rectifier circuits with and without PFC.Keywords: Single Phase Rectifier, Power Factor Correction (PFC), Boost Converter, Total Harmonic Distortion, Matlab R2021a

Abstract

The coagulation and flocculation processes in water treatment systems are influenced by the appropriate mixing speed and time to ensure the uniform distribution of coagulants and flocculants and the optimal formation of flocs. Instability in the agitator motor speed can disrupt process efficiency and the quality of the treated water. Therefore, a DC motor speed control system using a PID (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) controller is designed to maintain stable motor rotation, especially when facing disturbances such as gravel. The system is designed to maintain motor speed according to the desired setpoint, with coagulation processes in the range of 403–670 RPM and flocculation processes in the range of 67 100 RPM. The first modified Ziegler-Nichols tuning method was used to determine the optimal PID control parameters, resulting in values of Kp = 78.6, Ki = 6.5, and Kd = 2. Additionally, an IR-Speed sensor is employed to detect motor rotation speed, which is then displayed via an LCD. Experimental results on raw water with a turbidity of 55 NTU demonstrated that the system could reach a steady state within 2 seconds. No overshoot was observed, and the system achieved a steady-state error (ESS) of 0.14% during slow mixing. The system met the desired performance criteria with a fast steady-state response and adhered to the specified design parameters. The system achieved a turbidity removal efficiency of 82.04%, indicating excellent performance in reducing turbidity and dissolved particles in the water. These findings confirm that the implemented control system effectively fulfills its intended purpose of producing water suitable for further treatment for daily use, although not for direct consumption as drinking water.Keywords: DC Motor, PID Controller, Coagulation, Flocculation

Abstract

Aquascape adalah sebuah seni mengatur tanaman air dan batu, batu karang, koral, atau kayu apung, secara alami dan indah di dalam akuarium sehingga memberikan efek seperti berkebun di bawah air (Harsono;2012). pH yang baik untuk neon tetra adalah antara 5,5 – 7,8 serta pH yang baik untuk tanaman air adalah antara 6,5-8. Pengontrolan kadar pH pada air aquascape dilakukan dengan cara pemberian larutan asam (pH down) atau basa (pH up) dengan jumlah tertentu yang dapat menaikkan dan menurunkan kadar pH, sehingga pH pada air aquascape selalu stabil pada rentang yang sudah ditentukan. Penelitian ini akan membahas cara pengontrolan pH pada aquascape menggunakan Fuzzy Logic Control dengan metode Sugeno dan melihat apakah jumlah larutan asam atau basa yang dikeluarkan sudah sesuai dengan yang ditentukan oleh sistem. Berdasarkan data hasil pengujian dan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka didapatkan waktu yang dibutuhkan dari keadaan asam ke pH yang diinginkan adalah 240 detik dan waktu yang dibutuhkan dari keadaan basa ke pH yang diinginkan adalah 150 detik. Serta waktu recoverynya adalah 160 detik.Kata Kunci- Aquascape, Neon Tetra, Fuzy Logic Sugeno, pH.

Abstract

Islamic Banking as an alternative financial institution for the community and its current condition is growing. Likewise with some sharia products offered began to adjust to the needs of the community. Given that most of Indonesia's population is Muslim, the potential for the development of Islamic banking is also quite large. Islamic banking should be able to develop more broadly to demonstrate sharia values reflected in law, economic, social and political institutions. The Islamic banking system is expected to apply Islamic economic rules to avoid the conventional system to conform to Islamic religious teachings. The development of Islamic banking customers today not only targets the worker segment but also targets generation Z, the majority of whom this year work as students. The current condition of Islamic banking is unknown among generation Z, so it is necessary to analyze what factors influence the selection of Islamic banking as a financial institution to facilitate economic activities. The results of the analysis can be formulated to carry out strategies related to marketing, operations, risk, and finance in carrying out activities. In answering this, research was conducted using quantitative methods using multiple linear regression which aimed to see psychological, cultural, social, personal, and marketing factors in relation to the selection of Islamic banking. The results showed that partially psychological factors, social factors, personal factors and marketing factors had a positive effect on variable Y, namely the selection of Islamic banking services generation Z and factor X represented by cultural factors had a negative influence not significantly.

Abstract

Halal industry has become a positive trend in areas of food, fashion, and tourism. In Indonesia, one of the priority areas for halal industry is Halal Culinary Zone in Kauman Solo. Designation this area is aimed at creating a halal value chain ecosystem with Sharia economic principles. This research is descriptive qualitative model, with observations and interviews, data analysis using Creswell's. The results show that several stakeholders play crucial roles in development of Kauman Solo, including Surakarta Government, BI of Surakarta, Sharia Economic Community, BPJPH, UMKM Kauman, BUMN, and private businesses. There are 79 UMKM members, characterized by being home-based and offering their products in front of their homes to tourists visiting the Kauman area. Another distinctive feature is that over 80% of these UMKM businesses have halal certificate. Challenges such as a lack of capital, completeness of administrative documentation and competent human resources are expected to be addressed collectively.
