Abstract

The emerging problem is the low learning outcomes of the students, and the teaching media used by the teacher, such as PowerPoint and videos on painting practices, are still not perceived to enhance the students' understanding. The students' lack of interest in reading printed books.This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The goal of this study is to create digital teaching materials based on a flipbook maker for painting subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman and to determine the validity and practicality levels of the digital teaching materials based on a flipbook maker for painting subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The research methodology uses a research and development (R&D) design, which is a study that systematically designs and develops it. The ADDIE model, which stands for assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate, is used in the instructional design methodology. The data collection technique in this study involved interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the material validation obtained scores of 83.7%, design expert 85.4%, and language expert 85.3%, all categorized as very valid. The results conclude that the digital teaching materials are suitable for being tested on students of painting material at SMPN 2 Pariaman. The results of the student questionnaire on a small scale were 85.7% and on a large scale 98.09% regarding the use of digital teaching materials in painting, which the researcher developed. It can be concluded that these digital teaching materials received good results, making them practical and appropriate for use in the visual arts education process, specifically in painting.

Abstract

Zirwen Hazry is a painter who has a realistic style from West Sumatra. There is a dominant object that often appears in each period of his work's journey, including the visualization of the figure of a small child with a symbolic gesture. Art connoisseurs rarely examine the meanings of these paintings in depth because many are still admiring Zirwen's painting skills and tend to read the meaning based on the straightforward visualization of objects. This study aims to find out how to understand the meaning behind the visualization of the child figure in Zirwen Hazry's painting. This is done so that the meaning conveyed by the painter is more easily understood by art connoisseurs. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The sampling technique was carried out through purposive sampling, where data was collected through work documentation. The data analysis technique uses Roland Barthes' semiotic approach, namely by examining the denotative and connotative meanings of the object under study. The results of the study show that the representation of young people's figures does not just tell stories about the problems of the world of young people against the times, but is an analogy of an artist's honesty in conveying social criticism. Child characters with certain gestures as denotative meanings. Criticism of the nature of human morality is caused by the movement and development of the times as a connotative meaning. The study of the representations of the painting objects under study shows that the ideology of painters tends to criticize human values.Keywords: semiotics, painting, realistic, connotative, denotative. AbstrakZirwen Hazry merupakan pelukis yang memiliki gaya realistik di Sumatera Barat. Terdapat objek-objek dominan yang sering muncul pada setiap periode perjalanan karyanya, di antaranya yaitu visualisasi figur anak kecil dengan gestur yang simbolik. Penikmat seni jarang mengkaji makna lukisan-lukisan tersebut lebih dalam karena masih banyak yang terpaku pada kekaguman keahlian melukis Zirwen secara personal dan cenderung membaca makna berdasarkan visualisasi objek secara lugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana cara memahami makna di balik visualisasi figur anak kecil dalam lukisan Zirwen Hazry. Hal ini dilakukan agar makna yang dihadirkan pelukis lebih mudah dipahami penikmat seni. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui purposive sampling, dimana data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi karya. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes, yaitu dengan menelaah makna denotasi dan konotasi pada objek yang dikaji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa representasi figur anak kecil tidak sekedar bercerita tentang permasalahan dunia anak kecil terhadap perkembangan zaman saja, melainkan sebuah analogi terhadap kejujuran seniman dalam menyampaikan kritik sosial. Figur anak kecil dengan gestur tertentu sebagai makna denotatif. Kritikan terhadap hakikat dari esensi akhlak manusia yang disebabkan terhadap pergerakan dan perkembangan zaman sebagai makna konotatif. Abstract

Students do not understand the material of non-machine looms and the application of woven techniques found in basic textile craft courses, this is because lecturers only use learning media in the form of printing teaching materials and power points. This research aims to design an effective learning media in the form of interactive e-jobheet by using the adobe flash professional CS6 application. The method used in this design is the 4D Model model that is developed with stages, namely the Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination stages. Data collection techniques with observation and literature study. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, which is used to describe the e-jobsheet design and the validity of the e-jobsheet in the ATBM material. The results obtained in this study show that the interactive e-jobsheet learning media by using the adobe flash professional CS6 application on the ATBM material in the fine arts education study program has several components, including two types of video tutorials consisting of explanations about ATBM material and its work process, material about ATBM, then there are practice questions that can be done by students, and also a list of references and people. The validation results obtained from the validator are the validation of the material obtained a number of 95%, design experts 90.3% and linguists 89.8% with very valid categories. E-jobsheet learning media is accessed by students offline using laptops. Keywords: e-jobsheet, Adobe Flash Player, ATBMAbstrakMahasiswa kurang memahami materi alat tenun bukan mesin dan pengaplikasian teknik tenunan yang terdapat pada mata kuliah kriya tekstil dasar, hal ini dikarenakan dosen hanya menggunakan media pembelajaran berupa bahan ajar cetak dan power point. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media pembelajaran yang efektif berupa e-jobheet interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi adobe flash professional CS6. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini yaitu model Model 4D yang dikembangkan memiliki tahapan yaitu tahap Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Dissemination (Penyebaran). Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif, yang digunakan untuk mendiskripsikan desain e-jobsheet dan validitas e-jobsheet pada materi ATBM. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu media pembelajaran e-jobsheet interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi adobe flash professional CS6 pada materi ATBM di program studi pendidikan seni rupa terdapat beberapa komponen, diantaranya dua jenis video tutorial yang terdiri dari penjelasan mengenai materi ATBM dan proses kerjanya, materi mengenai ATBM, kemudian terdapat latihan soal yang bisa dikerjakan oleh mahasiswa, dan juga daftar referensi serta narahubung. Hasil validasi yang diperoleh dari validator yaitu validasi materi memperoleh angka 95%, ahli desain 90,3% dan ahli bahasa 89,8% dengan kategori sangat valid.
