Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of mental health in postnatal mothers. The research method used is quantitative descriptive research. The results showed that the characteristics of the respondents, based on the age of the majority aged 20-35 years, were 73.8%, with high school/vocational school education of 54.8% and the status of housewives of 59.5%, married status of 97.6% with normal delivery as much as 54.8%, number of parity 2 as much as 52.4%. based on the results of the univariate test it was found that the majority of mothers experienced major depression as much as 64.3%. In conclusion, postnatal mothers in Gatak Village need special attention because the majority of postnatal mothers have severe mental health. Keywords: Mental Health, Post Natal

Abstract

This study aims to determine fathers' role in improving pregnant women's health. The method used is a traditional literature review summarizing the latest understanding of a topic. The database used to obtain research articles uses accredited sites, namely Elsevier, SINTA, Pubmed, and Google Scholar. The study results show the influence exerted by the father in his role in improving the health of pregnant women. Based on the results of the analysis of the five kinds of literature that have been obtained, it is known that the role of the father in improving the health of pregnant women is divided into three categories, namely the influence of the father's role in improving the health of pregnant women, supporting factors for the position of fathers in improving the health of pregnant women, and inhibiting factors for the father's role in improving maternal health. In conclusion, it is hoped that the husband or father can apply for assistance and support the mother and fetus during pregnancy based on the exposure described in this literature review so that the husband or father can be more aware of giving consent to the mother during pregnancy. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of pregnant women's classes on mothers' knowledge about maternal and child health. This study uses the literature review method. The databases used to obtain journal articles are Google Scholar, PubMed, and SINTA. The results of this study indicate that the mother's class influences the mother's knowledge about maternal and child health. A supporting factor in organizing courses for pregnant women is using video media to help mothers absorb information better. The inhibiting factors were the period for carrying out classes for pregnant women, mothers who had not given birth to their babies, unusual practices, health care providers, and relatives. Simply put, the pregnant women's class influences mothers' knowledge about maternal and child health. In practice, there are supporting and inhibiting factors for mothers in implementing the material for pregnant women's classes.
