Abstract

Implementing the Merdeka Belajar curriculum requires teachers to master technology (technological knowledge) in learning. However, until now, many teachers in schools still have not optimally mastered technology to carry out learning due to a lack of understanding of using information technology-based learning media. This condition impacts the learning process ineffectiveness due to the learning loss during the coronavirus pandemic and students' enthusiasm for learning because they cannot study independently at home. To resolve the issue, it is necessary to improve the ability of teachers to manage the learning process by utilizing information technology-based learning media, such as e-books based on multimedia learning. Through the Participatory Action Research, the service activities were carried out by conducting workshops and teacher assistance in designing information technology-based learning media in the form of e-books or flipbooks that contain multimedia content with the help of the Canva-heyzine application. The results revealed that there was an increase in teachers' technological abilities in designing multimedia-based learning media.(Penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar menuntut guru untuk menguasai teknologi (technological knowledge) dalam pembelajaran. Namun, hingga saat ini, penguasaan teknologi untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran masih banyak yang belum optimal karena kurangnya pemahaman menggunakan media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi informasi. Kondisi ini berimbas kepada kurang efektifnya proses pembelajaran yang mengakibatkan terjadinya learning loss di masa pandemi virus corona dan berkurangnya semangat belajar siswa karena tidak mampu belajar secara mandiri di rumah. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, maka perlu meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengelolah proses pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan media-media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi seperti penggunaan e-book berbasis multimedia pembelajaran. Dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research, kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan menggunakan metode workshop dan pendampingan guru dalam mendesain media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi informasi berupa e-book berbentuk flipbook yang memuat konten multimedia dengan bantuan aplikasi canva-heyzine. Sasaran peserta workshop adalah guru-guru SDN No. 60 Lembang. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah melaksanakan kegiatan ini yaitu terdapat peningkatan kemampuan teknologi guru dalam mendesain media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia.)

Abstract

The low quality of mathematics learning that has an impact on the lack of improvement in students' mathematics abilities is the main reason for implementing the lesson study community service activity of applying math city maps in mathematics learning. Due to this reason, the activity was carried out using a procedure that includes the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The success of the community service activity was analyzed using a questionnaire on the success and satisfaction of partners distributed to 13 mathematics teachers at Majene regency. The results of the activity showed a positive influence of the activity on teachers where the average evaluation aspect reached a percentage of 88.3%. From the results of the implementation of the activity, it was also concluded that teachers were interested in implementing lesson study as an initial step in improving the quality of students' mathematics learning

Abstract

Mathematical concept comprehension is essential in learning mathematics. However, students’ comprehension of mathematical concepts is still low. This research aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model with student worksheets on students’ mathematical concept comprehension ability. The method used in this research is quantitative. The type of research is a quasi-experimental design. Two classes were selected as the research sample using the simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in this research are a test of mathematical concept comprehension abilities and observation sheets of learning implementation. The data analysis techniques used in this research were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis (Independent Sample T-Test). Based on the data analysis results, the research shows that the discovery learning model with student worksheets positively affects students’ mathematical concept comprehension ability. This research implies that discovery learning with students' worksheets can be an effective alternative to improve students’ comprehension of mathematical concepts in classroom practice.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self regulated learning dan kemampuan verbal terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sendana. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat kausalitas dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 50 siswa yaitu seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sendana. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument: (1) angket self regulated learning; (2) tes kemampuan verbal; dan (3) tes prestasi belajar matematika. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial dengan analisis regresi linear. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa: (1) self regulated learning berada pada kategori tinggi; (2) kemampuan verbal berada pada kategori rendah; dan (3) prestasi belajar matematika berada pada kategori sangat rendah. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa: (1) self regulated learning berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa dibuktikan dengan nilai yaitu 3,160 2,012 dan nilai sig 0,003 0,05; (2) kemampuan verbal berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa dibuktikan dengan nilai yaitu 5,079 2,012 dan nilai sig 0,000 0,05; dan (3) self regulated learning dan kemampuan verbal berpengaruh secara Bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang dibuktikan dengan nilai yaitu 18,895 3,20 dan nilai sig. 0,000 0,05.
