Abstract

This study aims to determine which types of activities are mostly played by mothers and their children during “just stay at home” or since the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). Starting on March 16, 2020, the PSBB has enforced by the DKI Jakarta and other local governments in Indonesia to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was conducted by survey method, using a questionnaire of Google form application. The questionnaire was distributed online from 9 to 20 April 2020. As a sampling technique, purposive sampling was selected, including mothers who have children between the ages of 2-8 years. A total of 545 participants were obtained through WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. The results of the study showed that there were five types of activities mostly played by mothers and their children: 1) reading, writing, and math, 2) watching YouTube, 3) life skills, 4) two and three-dimensional arts, 5) playing water. While the types of activities rarely played: 1) playing gadgets, 2) science experiments, 3) light sports. In similar, there were three types of activities rarely played: 4) home materials creativity, 5) traditional games, 6). Storytelling / fairy tales / drama, 7) music and movement. Referring to the finding, it was a positive significant result because the gadget was the rare play. These might occur because majority respondents were highly educated and working as educators in particular.

Abstract

The end of the woodball game is to put a wooden ball through a gate installed in the ground. Victory is obtained from the lowest shot or few strokes on each track or several tracks. Gating is one of the techniques in woodball that determines the end of the game. Success in gating strokes cannot be separated from the training process carried out. Training is carried out on PWbC woodball players by adjusting the distance and position of the ball, without any training aids. Beginner players find it difficult to practice basic swing gating. Gating shots that are not yet stable and not right on target. PWbC woodball players waste gating shots when playing 12 fairways and 24 fairways. The aim of this research is to provide a gating practice model using a drill gating tool. Media tools have a role in training the basics of a consistent swing. The research method used in this research is experimentation. Using a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection was carried out by measuring gating precision on 25 PWbC club participants in South Tangerang city, carrying out the test using a gating accuracy test instrument. The results obtained were 4 (four) participants in the very good category. Gating ability in the good category numbered 10 (ten) participants, in the medium category there were 7 (seven) people, then there were only 3 (three) participants who had the poor category in gating ability.

Abstract

This research is based on problems that occur in extracurricular futsal at Elementry of Labschool UMJ, where the results of passing accuracy are considered not maximal. From these problems, researchers tried to offer solutions for passing accuracy training by using targets as a reference in increasing passing accuracy. This research uses one group pretsest-postest experimental research method. The population in this study was 30 people. The sample in this study was 30 people with total sampling techniques. From the calculation results that have been tested, the pre-test results show the effect of target passing training on passing accuracy getting a value of 46.67. The average post-test result was 56.33, an increase between pretest and post-test of 8.66. Based on the results of the normality test, the Passing pre-test using the target gets a result of 0.186 and the post-test Passing group using the target has a statistical significance of 0.219. With the SPSS 25 program, all these data of 0.186, 0.219 and 0.265 > 0.05 meet the tolerance limit of the Kolmogrov-Smirnov normality test at a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of the homogeneity test, pre-test and post-test passing data using targets and also improvement data for passing exercises using targets with significant levels are 0.699, 0.699, 0941 > 0.05 > 0.05. Based on the data from the pre-test and post-test passing results using the targets presented in the t test results, a t value of -3.058 and statistical significance of 0.0001 was obtained. There is an effect of passing training using targets on accuracy with t count - 3.058 < -t table -6.117 and significant values 0.001< 0.05.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada Organisasi Pemuda Muhammadiyah Kowangan dalam penyelenggaraan kejuaraan olahraga tradisional tingkat SMP se-Kabupaten Temanggung. Olahraga tradisional tidak hanya menjadi bagian penting dalam warisan budaya, tetapi juga merupakan sarana efektif untuk mengembangkan karakter dan keterampilan siswa SMP.  Kegiatan ini mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kejuaraan olahraga tradisional. Tim pengabdian memfasilitasi Organisasi Pemuda Muhammadiyah Kowangan dalam menyusun rencana kegiatan, memilih tempat, dan menyusun aturan main yang adil. Selain itu, pendampingan dilakukan melalui workshop untuk meningkatkan keterampilan teknis dan manajerial panitia kejuaraan. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan respon yang positif dari peserta dan jajaran Pengurus Daerah Muhammadiyah (PDM) Temanggung. Secara internal, ketua PCPM menyatakan bahwa banyak manfaat yang diperoleh sepanjang kegiatan pendampingan ini. Selanjutnya, pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperoleh PCPM dalam kegiatan ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk melaksanakan agenda-agenda kerja yang akan datang. Pendampingan yang dilakukan selama 3 bulan memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi peningkatan kapasitas organisasi PCPM Kowangan. Kegiatan ini dikatakan baru yang pertama kali diikuti oleh PCPM Kowangan. Ke depan diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengoptimalkan agenda kerja yang belum terlaksana agar dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik melalui perencanaan yang matang dan kolaborasi dengan pihak eksternal dengan skim kerja sama sponsorship seperti yang telah dilaksanakan pada kegiatan ini.

Abstract

Demokrasi merupakan proses pengambilan keputusan dalam masyarakat yang idealnya melibatkan dialog dan diskusi rasional, inklusif, serta toleran antara individu dan kelompok yang beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas program pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam mempromosikan nilai-nilai demokrasi melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber terkait. Penilaian efektivitas program pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam mempromosikan nilai-nilai demokrasi adalah tugas kompleks dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan multi-metode, membangun indikator yang jelas, serta mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas. Dengan pendekatan ini, penelitian ini berupaya memberikan kontribusi terhadap perbaikan program Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat membantu generasi mendatang menjadi warga negara yang lebih demokratis dan bertanggung jawab, dengan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang nilai-nilai demokrasi. Temuan ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan kebijakan pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Senam Bugar Muhamamdiyah Socialization and Training is a training and outreach activity regarding Senam Bugar Muhamamdiyah which can be used as one of the physical activities to improve the degree of physical fitness of students in Muhammadiyah schools and the Muhammadiyah community. This fitness exercise involves all ages and has irreversible movements, so it can be done together. The activity locations were in several Muhammadiyah schools, namely MI Muhammadiyah Cipetir with 287 students and 14 teachers, MTs Muhammadiyah Cipoho 27 students, SMA Muhammadiyah Sukabumi City with 37 students and in Kp. Cigrass Ds. Sela Awi kec. There were 40 people in Sukaraja, Sukabumi Regency, bringing the total activity participants to 405 participants. Activities carried out for 6 months with meetings once a week. Schedule of activities attached. The achievement of the success of the training was 65% of the participants had memorized the Muhamamdoyah fitness movement and the rest had not memorized it well. We can say that the activity went quite well. There were several factors that hindered the implementation of socialization and training including limited time at school which was cut short by the Ramadan holidays and Eid al-Fitr holidays so that it had quite an effect on the results of the Senam Bugar Muhamamdiyah training because participants were cut off for training and when the exercises started again, the participants forgot again with the movements so they had to start over from the beginning in providing training, the characteristics of students who were still difficult to instruct and students' interest in gymnastic activities were still lacking. However, the supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, teacher participation, and conducive school support.

Abstract

Obesitas dapat terjadi pada siapa saja, termasuk anak-anak dan remaja. Kejadian kegemukan dan obesitas pada remaja merupakan masalah yang sangat serius. Jika tidak ditangani akan berlanjut hingga dewasa. Obesitas banyak dikaitkan dengan kejadian penyakit tidak menular seperti penyakit Diabetes tipe 2, penyakit kardiovaskular, hipertensi, hiperlipidemia, dan beberapa jenis kanker. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada hari Selasa, 22 Agustus 2023 pada pukul 13.00 – 15.00 WIB berlokasi di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Jakarta. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Jakarta sebanyak 54 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan diskusi menggunakan media buku saku CERITA (Cegah Remaja Obesitas). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja terkait pola makan yang benar dan sehat serta aktivitas fisik untuk mencegah kegemukan dan obesitas disertai dengan praktek aktivitas fisik dan perhitungan indeks massa tubuh (IMT). Hasil data pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan terkait upaya pencegahan obesitas pada remaja pada peserta edukasi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari peningkatan nilai sebesar 39,6 poin jika dilihat dari rata-rata nilai pre-test dan post-test. Sementara itu, persentase jumlah orang yang mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan setelah dilakukan edukasi adalah 100%. Obesity can occur to anyone, including children and adolescents. The incidence of overweight and obesity in adolescents is a serious problem. If it is not treated, it will continue into adulthood. Obesity is associated with non-communicable diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and several types of cancer. Community service activities held on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023 at 13.00 – 15.00 WIB, located at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Jakarta. All 50 students of class XI of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Jakarta participated. The method used was lecturing and discussion using the pocketbook CERITA (Cegah Remaja Obesitas). Community service activities aim to increase teenagers' knowledge of healthy eating patterns and physical activity to prevent obesity, accompanied by the practice of physical activity and calculating body mass index (BMI). The results of the pre-test and post-test data showed an increase in knowledge regarding efforts to prevent obesity in adolescents among participants. This is shown by an increase in scores of 39.6 points when viewed from the average pre-test and post-test scores. Meanwhile, the percentage of people who experienced an increase in knowledge after education was 100%.

Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani merujuk pada proses pembelajaran melalui aktivitas fisik. Sasaran yang ingin dicapai mencakup aspek psikomotorik, kognitif, dan afektif secara menyeluruh. Bola voli merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan olahraga yang melibatkan dua tim, masing-masing terdiri dari enam pemain, yang berusaha untuk memainkan bola melewati net dan masuk ke lapangan lawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan servis bawah pada permainan bola voli dengan cara memodifikasi bola voli bagi peserta didik kelas VII SMP Islam Yappida di Kota Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menerapkan metode drill. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 30 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perubahan yang signifikan pada kemampuan servis bawah siswa dalam permainan bola voli setelah diberikan latihan dengan memodifikasi bola voli. Pada siklus 1 tindakan 1 (Prasiklus), sebanyak 18 siswa (60%) berhasil mencapai kategori tuntas, meskipun nilai ini masih berada di bawah rata-rata Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan. Di sisi lain, terdapat 12 siswa (40%) yang masih berada dalam kategori tidak tuntas. Selanjutnya, pada siklus 1 tindakan 2 akhir (Siklus), terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan di mana 27 siswa (90%) telah berhasil mencapai atau melebihi KKM (75%), sementara hanya 3 siswa (10%) yang masih berada di bawah KKM (75%). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan dengan menggunakan bola voli yang dimodifikasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan servis bawah sisw, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode latihan dengan memodifikasi bola voli dapat membantu siswa mencapai tingkat keterampilan yang diharapkan dalam servis bawah bola voli, serta meningkatkan tingkat ketuntasan belajar mereka dalam hal tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara media audio visual terhadap keterampilan passing dalam permainan futsal. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena keterampilan passing pada siswa ekstrakurikuler masih kurang baik, dan belum terlihat adanya modifikasi latihan keterampilan passing. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Nurul Falah Pondok Ranji. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler futsal yang berjumlah 26 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh media audio visual terhadap keterampilan passing dalam permainan futsal pada siswa ekstrakurikuler. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji-t menggunakan Independent samples test diperoleh nilai t = 2,274, dengan signifikansi 0,002 0,005 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas kontrol. Pada kelas kontrol diperoleh rata-rata nilai tes sebesar 36,92, sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata nilai tes sebesar 49,23.Kata Kunci: Futsal, Media Audio Visual, Ekstrakurikuler.
