Abstract

The integration of schools and pesantren has become a rapidly growing educational model in Indonesia, particularly in shaping the millennial generation of Qur’an memorizers (hafidh). This model combines the formal school curantriculum with a pesantren system based on Qur’anic memorization (tahfidh). However, in practice, various challenges arise concerning regulations, violations, and the forms of punishment applied to santri (student). These regulations serve to maintain santri discipline, academic policies, and character development. Despite well-established regulations, violations frequently occur among millennial santri, both in academic contexts and pesantren discipline. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The findings indicate that regulations within this integrated model cover academic discipline, pesantren ethics, and Qur’an memorization obligations. Common violations include negligence in memorization targets, improper use of technology, and absenteeism from pesantren activities. The forms of punishment applied range from verbal warnings and social sanctions to special guidance for improving discipline. These findings provide insights for educational institutions in formulating more effective policies to nurture millennial santri to excel in both formal education and Qur’anic memorization.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the validity of personal data as a "pseudo guarantee" in fintech lending. The focus of this problem is whether the phenomenon of using personal data as a debt guarantee is justified. The research method is normative, employing a statute, a conceptual and a historical approach. The analysis uses deductive logic and teleological interpretation. Novelty of this study is different from offline loan agreements that are based on collateral, fintech is not based on collateral, but personal data has a dual function, first as the main basis for determining whether or not credit is approved and second as a pseudo guarantee if the debtor defaults. The results show that personal data is the basis of the platform to collect and "execute loans" by disseminating personal data of loan recipients to the contact numbers of people close to the borrower if the debtor defaults. The PDP Law, POJK No. 10/POJK.05/2022 and POJK No. 22 of 2023 prohibit Fintech from providing consumer data to other parties. Fintech organizers are required to keep the confidentiality of borrower data in accordance with the data acquisition agreement with the data owner. Conclusion, the use of personal data as a "pseudo guarantee" by providing consumer data to other parties if the loan recipient fails, based on POJK No. 10/POJK.05/2022 and Law No. 19 of 2016 is permitted as long as prior written consent is obtained from the owner of the personal data.

Government regulations regarding health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic have resulted in many impacts and dilemmatic atmosphere in almost all community activities relating to the economic, social, political, and religious fields. This effect can be seen clearly in all community activities, including in the implementation of wedding ceremonies and receptions. This study tries to identify the impact of these regulations on wedding traditions in the North Coast region of Java, precisely in Winong and Pucakwangi sub-districts, South Pati. The research focuses on two types of activities, namely the process of wedding ceremony and the wedding reception. This qualitative research uses a socio-normative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation which were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. Interviews were conducted with some prospective bride and groom couples and marriage registrats in the local area. This study found that citizens,  starting from the general public to the social, political, and religious leaders, tend not to care about the provisions on health protocols regulated by the government. This tendency can be seen in the public's response to these provisions at the time of marriage, which can be classified into three types of groups, namely affirmative, conditional-adaptive, and ignorance

Abstract

The main benefit of waqf (endowment) assets is fundamentally for the welfare of the community. However, various conflicts often occur within waqf management, such as among nāẓir (waqf managers) and bureaucrats, including that on waqf ruislag (ibdāl) in Kendal, Semarang, and Demak affected by the national road project. Taking the cases as a sample, this research aims to explore various management and utilization of waqf assets, to examine diversity in land exchange involving waqf lands from Javanese kings, and to uncover various conflicts in management and exchange of waqf assets. This study employs a socio-anthropological approach with qualitative analysis. Data were collected through interviews with nāẓir, officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and engaging foundation's staff. Additionally, the research involved reviewing waqf asset records, examining documents, and conducting necessary observations. The findings of this study are: First, a wide variety of waqf assets are managed in different forms, serving various purposes such as education, healthcare, and other social benefits services. Second, as some waqf assets have been impacted by the national road project, ibdāl waqf, when considered for maṣlaḥah ‘āmmah (public benefit), took place under consideration that a particular Islamic law school and Law No. 4 of 2004 allowed it. Third, the ibdāl has given rise to various conflicts involving waqf institutions, foundations, or legal entities. Therefore, conflict prevention is very important for waqf asset governance based on nāẓir collective awareness, regulations, and resolution.

Abstract

Curriculum and learning management are two strategic components in determining the quality of primary education. Each educational institution develops its curriculum model according to its institutional vision, socio-cultural context, and long-term learning objectives. The differing characteristics between traditional Islamic schools and internationally based primary schools reflect a diversity of approaches in designing and managing learning processes. In this context, this study examines the curriculum design models and learning management implemented at MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Pati and DaQu Primary School, Semarang. Using a qualitative approach with a comparative case study method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings show that MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Pati integrates the National Curriculum with a local curriculum based on Islamic values, employing a character-based learning approach and habitual worship practices. Meanwhile, DaQu Primary School Semarang adopts the National Curriculum and the Cambridge International Curriculum with an orientation toward 21st-century skills and technology-based learning. Significant differences are observed in curriculum orientation, teacher roles, evaluation methods, and classroom management systems. However, each institution possesses contextual strengths that can serve as inspiration for developing a hybrid curriculum model. This study recommends a collaboration of religious values and global approaches in designing adaptive and holistic primary education.

Abstract

This study discusses the model of internalizing Islamic values and students' morals through the This study discusses the internalization model of Islamic values and morals of students through the integration of Daqu Method learning in the integrated curriculum at Primary Daqu School at Semarang, Central Java. The Daqu Method, which prioritizes the balance between intellectual, spiritual, and emotional intelligence, is the main approach in shaping the character of students. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study at Primary Daqu School. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the internalization of Islamic values and morals is carried out through three main aspects: exemplary-based learning (uswah hasanah), habituation in daily activities, and value integration within subjects. Teachers play a crucial role as primary role models in shaping students' character through compassionate interactions and an Islamic values-based approach. Additionally, a conducive school environment supports the internalization process, such as the culture of tahfiz, congregational prayers, and the implementation of honesty, discipline, and social care values in every school activity. By applying the Daqu Method in the integrated curriculum, students not only acquire academic knowledge but also develop a strong religious understanding and good morals.

This dedication explores the importance of sex education, health, and moral education for santri-students in Winong Schools, Pati, Central Java. Sex education, health, and moral education play a vital role in shaping the physical, mental, and mental development of students. This devotion has important implications for improving students' understanding of sex, health, and moral values. The recommendations derived from this study can be a guide for schools, governments, and families to improve sex education, health, and moral education among santri- students at Pati Schools, Central Java. Thus, it is expected that the younger generation will become individuals more aware of health and moral behavior, as well as able to make wise decisions in their lives. This dedication uses interesting training methods, which means that the trainer delivers information and examples to the participants of the activity.  The results of dedication show that most students at Winong Pati Schools do not have adequate knowledge of sex, reproductive health, and moral education. This lack of understanding can lead to risky behaviour, such as unsafe sex, drug abuse, and asylum. The results also show that the implementation of sex education, health, and moral education in pesantren schools in Winong Pati district is still limited. Further efforts are needed to integrate these materials into the educational curriculum, as well as training teachers so that they can provide accurate and accurate information to students.
