Abstract

Digital transformation has brought significant changes in the world of education, including in the learning of Civic Education (Civics Education). This journal aims to examine in depth the relationship between the use of digital technology and the strengthening of civic values, especially Pancasila values, in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, which analyzes various scientific literature, research reports, educational policies, and other relevant sources published in the last decade. The results of the study indicate that the integration of information technology in Civics learning opens up great opportunities to create a more participatory, interactive and contextual learning process. Digital technology not only improves learners' conceptual understanding, but can also strengthen the internalization of Pancasila values through innovative learning media such as videos, simulations, online forums, and digital projects. However, the implementation of technology also faces various challenges such as limited infrastructure, digital divide, and low digital literacy among educators and learners.

Abstract

National security is crucial in maintaining state stability, where the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) has a strategic role as the frontline in dealing with various threats. However, there are still challenges in increasing state defense awareness and readiness of Brimob members. This community service program aims to improve the understanding, skills, and preparedness of Brimob members in facing various forms of physical and non-physical threats. This activity was carried out through lecture methods, interactive discussions, and field simulations carried out at Battalion A Regiment II Pelopor Troops Headquarters, Pamulang, South Tangerang. The results showed increased Brimob members’ understanding of the concept of state defense, readiness to face emergencies, and crisis management skills. In addition, this program also helped strengthen the relationship between Brimob and the community in terms of maintaining security and safety. With this activity, it is hoped that Brimob members will become more professional in carrying out their duties and be better prepared to face future security challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan nilai-nilai Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja di lingkungan industri. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, yang melibatkan analisis berbagai sumber akademik dan regulasi terkait K3. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan nilai-nilai PKn, seperti tanggung jawab sosial dan kepedulian terhadap rekan kerja, tanggung jawab, kepatuhan hukum, partisipasi aktif, dan solidaritas sosial, diyakini dapat berperan dalam membentuk budaya keselamatan kerja secara signifikan meningkatkan kepatuhan pekerja terhadap prosedur keselamatan, mengurangi risiko kecelakaan, serta membangun lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman dan produktif.Teori Konstruktivisme Sosial dan Theory of Planned Behavior digunakan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana interaksi sosial dan sikap positif terhadap K3 mempengaruhi kepatuhan pekerja terhadap prosedur keselamatan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi perusahaan dalam merancang program pelatihan K3 yang efektif, dengan menekankan pentingnya internalisasi nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan sebagai bagian dari budaya organisasi.

Abstract

This study examines the optimization of policies and bullying prevention programs in two junior high schools in South Tangerang City through a civic education approach. This research employs a qualitative case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and document analysis of school policies. Interviews were conducted with Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers at SMPN 18 Tangsel and SMP Islam At-Taqwa Pamulang. NVivo 12 software was used to analyze bullying patterns and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention policies. The findings reveal that bullying predominantly occurs in verbal and social forms, mainly targeting groups perceived as different in academic, economic, or social aspects. Case identification is conducted through student reports, direct observation, and group discussions, while intervention involves individual counseling and discussions with homeroom teachers and parents. School policies, such as disciplinary regulations, the Special Handling Team (TTPK), and routine socialization programs, serve as the foundation for bullying prevention strategies. Although there has been a decrease in bullying incidents, challenges persist, particularly in the low reporting rate among students. Thus, this study recommends enhanced teacher training, the integration of civic education into the curriculum, and improved communication among school stakeholders to create a safer, more inclusive, and supportive school environment.

Abstract

Civics education plays a strategic role in developing digitally ethical students. Through this education, students are taught moral, ethical, and national values ​​in the era of technological globalization. These values ​​are crucial for developing a peaceful, ethical, and moral young generation. Civic education fosters national identity and tolerance for diversity among students. This study aims to determine the role of civic education in shaping students' digital ethics in the era of technological globalization and social media. This research method uses literature analysis and relevant expert theory to explore the dynamics of digital ethics behavior among students. This research identified elements such as digital ethics, the role of civics education, and other issues faced in the digital world. This study found that civics education plays a crucial role in shaping students' digital ethics in the era of technological globalization and social media. By explaining various factors that influence digital ethics, such as social media platform design, freedom of expression, and protection against hate speech, this study provides in-depth insights into the impact of civic education on the formation of students' digital ethics. In facing the complex dynamics of the digital space in the era of technological globalization, the role of civic education in integrating students' digital ethics into the curriculum is key to forming a young generation that is skilled in technology, digitally ethical, and responsible in online behavior. Using this approach, civics education can shape ethically aware, responsible, and students, creating a digital generation that positively impacts society as a whole.
