Abstract

This study aims to find out obtain the results of analysis learning materials Civic education in junior high school at digital era. Analysis of civic education learning materials for student in junior high school is focused on Banten Province. This study was conducted using descriptive quantitative approach. The data collection technique used purposive sampling technique. The sample used to obtain the data is junior high school student respondents to civic education in the digitalization era in Banten Province who were randomly selected in Eight grade and consisted of 40 respondents. Data were collected through the process of observation, interviews, and filling out a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire. The results of this questionnaire data are then processed and made in the form of percentages in the form of tables and figures chart. Analysis of Civic education learning materials for students’ junior high school at digital era found that in the learning process, learning materials that use technology are needed so that learning is more creative and innovative. This can be seen based on the percentage of statements agreeing to the needs of students' learning materials civic education in junior high school at digital era, namely 65.4% agree and 34.6% disagree. Then the results of the analysis of the needs of students' teaching materials will be used to design the development of civic education in junior high school teaching materials in the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out Cultural civilisation and scientific and technological progress are things that cannot be denied. The Indonesian nation certainly wants the advancement of development in all fields. But there are things that should not be forgotten that education as a place, place and school becomes an institution where fostering harmony between the development of science and technology with cultural, social, religious and other civilisations. One of them is the subject of Pancasila and civic education as a subject that is the main in the formation of skills, good moral, ethical, behavioural, and social skills. This research was conducted at MTS Sirajul Falah, Parung, Bogor Regency, West Java, with this research expected to build students' social skills. Civics subjects have a major role in shaping social skills for students. Social skills as skills, attitudes/behaviours of a person in communicating, interacting, socialising with the surrounding environment and life throughout time. Learners are expected to have the skills to cooperate with others, control themselves, share thoughts and experiences with others, a sense of empathy, appreciate and respect others, not bullying. However, in building social skills, there must be supporting factors for the development of students' social skills, namely teachers, students, and the environment. The inhibiting factors are family, community environment, and the impact of technological advances, the flow of incoming western culture.

Abstract

Literacy Ability as an Important Early Foundation in Children's Lives. Literacy ability is an important early foundation in children's lives. Children socialize through language, and with their language skills, they are then able to ask questions and construct ideas to communicate to others. The Purpose of Strengthening Literacy. The purpose of strengthening literacy is to provide students with several important goals that have a positive impact on their development, both academically and personally. The Purpose of Students Writing Descriptive Essays The purpose of students writing descriptive essays is to develop their ability to describe or explain an object, place, event, or concept with high detail and clarity. The method of this activity is in the form of a descriptive essay writing activity carried out at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Ash-Shidiqiah School, Bandung Regency. The implementation of student descriptive writing goes through the following stages: Understanding the material of descriptive essays, Types of objects that can be described, Students are then given a theme to be developed into a writing about "The Atmosphere of the School Environment and the Surrounding Environment". The Subjects of This Activity, The students who were given literacy reinforcement in reading and writing were grade V and grade VI students.The Results of This Activity From the activity, it was found that there are internal factors in grades V and VI, namely that it takes a long time to understand the lesson material. Then, external factors are low interest in reading and writing because they are influenced by the culture in the family environment and the availability of facilities and infrastructure, such as the lack of reading books available in the library and publication media in the form of wall magazines. Abstract

Permasalahan lingkungan menjadi salah satu masalah yang cukup serius. Dalam hal ini, keterlibatan warga negara sangat dibutuhkan guna mengatasi berbagai kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi. Dengan melihat permasalahan lingkungan yang terus menyebar luas, pemerintah dan warga negara harus cepat tanggap mengatasi permsalahan tersebut.  Dalam mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan tersebut, perlu dilakukannya penguatan kegiatan lingkungan melalui kegiatan ecological citizenship. Kegiatan ecological citizenship ini dilakukan pada lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yakni pendekatan sosialisasi. Dengan dilakukan pengabdian ini, diharapkan mampu membangun kesadaran dan sikap peduli generasi muda dalam menjaga lingkungan alam sekitar. Serta, dapat menumbuhkan karakter kewarganegaraan ecologis pada warga negara.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the involvement of Generation Z in the organization of the 2024 Regional Elections in Serang Regency, focusing on their participation as members of the District Election Committee. Generation Z is known for its unique characteristics in political and democratic participation, marked by a strong desire to contribute to social change, particularly through electoral engagement. Data reveals that 45% of District Election Committee members in Serang Regency come from Generation Z, indicating their significant interest in the democratic process. Their involvement not only enhances transparency and accountability but also introduces fresh and dynamic perspectives that enrich local democracy. However, Generation Z faces various challenges, including a lack of comprehensive political education and limited understanding of election regulations. Despite these challenges, their high motivation, supported by broad access to information through social media and community backing, drives their active participation. Moreover, training provided by the government and election organizers improves their technical skills in fulfilling their roles. In conclusion, with proper support, Generation Z holds great potential to contribute to more transparent, accountable, and participatory elections in Indonesia.Generation Z, Civic Participation, and the 2024 Elections

Abstract

Digital transformation has brought significant changes in the world of education, including in the learning of Civic Education (Civics Education). This journal aims to examine in depth the relationship between the use of digital technology and the strengthening of civic values, especially Pancasila values, in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, which analyzes various scientific literature, research reports, educational policies, and other relevant sources published in the last decade. The results of the study indicate that the integration of information technology in Civics learning opens up great opportunities to create a more participatory, interactive and contextual learning process. Digital technology not only improves learners' conceptual understanding, but can also strengthen the internalization of Pancasila values through innovative learning media such as videos, simulations, online forums, and digital projects. However, the implementation of technology also faces various challenges such as limited infrastructure, digital divide, and low digital literacy among educators and learners.

Abstract

This community service was carried out as a strategic effort to instill and strengthen the values of nationalism in young members of the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Battalion A Regiment II of the Pioneer Forces. Battalion A has a command headquarters (Mako) in Kedaung, Pamulang, South Tangerang. As the front line in maintaining national security and order, young members of the Brimob have a vital role in maintaining the unity and sovereignty of the country. This activity is designed through training, national lectures, group discussions, and simulations of Pancasila values and national insights. The primary purpose of this activity is to foster a sense of love for the homeland, the spirit of defending the country, and awareness of the importance of maintaining the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. Participants are actively involved in each activity session through a participatory and interactive approach. The results of the service showed a significant increase in the understanding, attitude, and commitment of nationalism among the participants. This activity also encourages the formation of a critical and reflective mindset in facing national challenges in the global era. Hopefully, this program can be a model for sustainable national character development within the police and other security institutions.
