Abstract

Pangalengan is one of the districts in Bandung Regency which is an agricultural center. One of the potential products in the Pangalengan area is Pangalengan coffee which is well known to foreign countries. However, not all of the village areas in Pangalengan coffee farming have not been made a top priority, so there is still a need for coaching and mentoring as the PPM team of this group is serving together with the PPM team of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Unpas in February 2019 in Warnasari Village, Pangalengan District Bandung. The problems identified in the partners are human resources, raw materials, production, products, and marketing. The target or partners in this activity are coffee farmers in the Warnasari Village, Pangalengan. The method of activities includes social mapping related to the identification of problems faced by coffee farmers and FGDs with entrepreneurship material. The results of this period PPM devotion shows a change in the mindset of coffee farmers to turn coffee into a priority or mainstay of the region's commodities, in addition to the awareness related to the increasing spirit of entrepreneurship desiring to process coffee yields with variant forms in the future. The next target is the need for further service programs from the social mapping and FGD results from this period. in addition there is also an awareness related to the increasing spirit of entrepreneurship in wanting to process coffee yields with variant forms in the future. Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang, Gerakan sabilulungan raksa desa yang merupakan filosofi dan prinsip Bupati Dadang Naser dan birokrasi di Kabupaten Bandung dalam melaksanakan tugas dan wewenangnya. Dasar ini bertujuan, menumbuhkan semangat kebersamaan dan gotong royong antara pemerintah daerah dengan masyarakat. Sasaran gerakan sabilulungan raksa desa yaitu, rutilahu atau rumah tidak layak huni, air, kakus, sampah dan alam. Kendala implementasi gerakan sabilulungan raksa desa antaralain, resistensi politik, kendala sosial dan budaya seremonial. Pengelolaan media isu dilaksanakan secara konvensional melalui konferensi pers, silaturahmi media dan urun rumbuk bersama tokoh masyarakat.

Abstract

The results show that, in the text dimension pikiranrakyat.com provides more explanation about the process of opening a cinema from various stages prepared by the government for cinema entrepreneurs, as well as describing the regulations that must be applied in the cinema, the news text is also equipped with comments and responses from authorities on the policy of opening cinemas in Bandung city to strengthen news information. In the dimension of social cognitions, pikiranrakyat.com constructs news from various perspectives, starting from the policy of opening cinemas, the government, and the Bandung City health office regarding the anticipation of a new cluster spike in cinemas and the revocation of cinema permits that violate the agreement rules. Meanwhile, in the social context dimension, pikiranrakyat.com acts as a medium that mediates or the intermediary party in providing information on policies taken by the government to open cinemas during the pandemic.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam penelitian ini peneliti mendeskripsikan secara detail proses pewarisan nilai-nilai budaya dari tokoh adat terhadap generasi muda di Kampung Mahmud. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dan metode pendekatan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses pewarisan tradisi nilai-nilai budaya dari tokoh adat terhadap generasi muda dalam mengkonstruksi nilai-nilai budaya berdasarkan keyakinan yang kuat terhadap agama Islam sebagai dasar dari tumbuh berkembangnya menjadi budaya yang mewarnai segala aspek kehidupan di Kampung Mahmud. Kepercayaan mereka terhadap keberadaan nenek moyang yang dinamakan karuhun, masih ada sampai dengan sekarang. Masyarakat Kampung Mahmud sekarang lebih dinamis dalam memaknai kehidupannya juga dalam hubungannya dengan masyarakat satu sama lain. Pola komunikasi tokoh adat terhadap generasi muda dalam melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya terjadi dalam dua jenis komunikasi yaitu komunikasi verbal dan komunikasi non-verbal. Interpretasi tokoh adat dan generasi muda dalam memaknai perkembangan zaman terhadap nilai-nilai budaya mengalami perubahan dari fase ke fase. Ini berlangsung secara situasional. Perkembangan teknologi dan perubahan kondisi geografis memaksa untuk menginterpretasikan kembali hal yang tabu menjadi tidak tabu. Secara fisik kehidupan tatanan sosial masyarakat Kampung Mahmud telah berubah karena pengaruh budaya luar, tetapi secara substansi nilai-nilai budaya masih bertahan walaupun zaman terus berkembang. Abstract

Toxic substances can be released into the environment through garbage. Various waste management strategies are being tested by the government. Waste management policies that prioritize public health, environmental sustainability, and resource recovery. Waste management strategies in Bandung have garnered competing evaluations: the government sees them as successful, but residents have a more negative view. This study aims to further study the waste management policies implemented in the city of Bandung during the reign of Mayor Dada Rosada, Ridwan Kamil, and Odded M Daniel. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study show that each mayor's leadership brings its own pattern of policy implementation, but in general the policy has continuity, such as the Flowering Green policy in the Dada Rosada era which was focused again on becoming a Garbage Free Area during Ridwan Kamil's leadership and was sharpened by the Kang PisMan Policy during the leadership of Oded M Danial/Yana Mulyana.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) literasi sampah melalui pemanfaatan media informasi di Jamaras Kelurahan Jatihandap Kecamatan Mandalajati, Kota Bandung, dilaksanakan per Januari 2022 selama 8 bulan. Mitra merupakan Kelompok Swadaya Masyarakat (KSM) di Jamaras RW 02, dengan populasi 1031 Jiwa. Pengelolaan sampah dibutuhkan melalui pendekatan komunikasi kepada KSM Gelis Ih (Gerakan Lingkungan Bersih). Permasalahan yang dihadapi di Jamaras adalah minimnya literasi tentang sampah dan juga sarana prasarana dalam pengelolaan sampah. Mitra terkendala dengan keterbatasan personil KSM sebagai motor penggerak pengelolaan sampah, sehingga diperlukan komunikasi persuasif, informasi dan edukasi untuk mengajak keterlibatan warga, dan peran dari pemangku kepentingan untuk mewujudkan kawasan bebas sampah. Solusi atas permasalahan ini melalui literasi sampah secara komprehensif, melalui pemanfaatan perangkat media informasi, kolaborasi antara pihak DLH, DKPP, GSSI, Ketapang.kita, perguruan tinggi dan stakeholder lainnya, hingga terorganisir dengan baik, dan pendampingan KSM Gelis Ih pengelolaan sampah untuk memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan dan pola hidup mitra. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan melalui pendampingan dan menyiapkan perangkat media informasi untuk kebutuhan literasi. Pengintegrasian komunikasi top-down dan bottom-up untuk mengimplementasikan pengelolaan sampah. Hasil kegiatan PKM literasi sampah di Jamaras memiliki target mendukung kolaborasi dalam mewujudkan kawasan bebas sampah secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan PKM FISIP Unpas yang dilakukan adalah social mapping dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara dengan perangkat RW, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) bersama KSM Gelis Ih, dan pihak fasilitator ketapang.kita (GSSI), penyerahan bibit pohon hortikultura, liputan video pembuatan eco enzyme, serta fasilitasi signboard informasi jadwal pengangkutan dan pengelolaan sampah di Green House milik RW 02 Jamaras, atas inisiasi ketapang.kita.

Abstract

The problem faced Karang Taruna Youth of Jalancagak District, Subang Regency is the lack of public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and handling waste. Partners are not yet capable and understand waste management well due to limited information and communication approaches to the community so that environmental cleanliness has not yet been realized in Jalancagak District. The solution to solving this problem is to provide understanding by increasing environmental awareness through designing campaigns carried out by youth, from youth, for youth and citizens in general. The implementation method uses the PRA (Participation Rural Appraisal) approach which emphasizes community involvement or participation in the entire series of activities and increasing independence and internal strength in the community. The stages taken are providing assistance and also preparing a communication campaign design, starting with a pre-test through a questionnaire, then showing a documentary film about natural damage, and in the next stage assistance designing concepts, themes, messages, strategies and tactics, creating social media accounts, prepare content to share on those social media accounts. This is part of Karang Taruna's contribution as the nation's next generation in maintaining a clean environment in the digital era.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the impact of rebranding on the brand image of "IndiHome by Telkomsel." In an era of increasingly fierce business competition, companies are required to continuously adapt and update their image to remain relevant in the eyes of customers. The approach used in this study is quantitative with an explanatory survey method. Several theories underpinning this research include cognitive psychology theory, stimulus-organism-response theory, and organizational image management theory developed by Massey (2003). Through systematic random sampling techniques, a sample of 98 was obtained, comprising IndiHome by Telkomsel customers who are also followers of the Instagram account @indihomecare. Data in this study were collected through questionnaires, interviews, literature studies, and internet media. This study emphasizes the importance of strategic communication with stakeholders to build the desired image. The research methods used include the collection of primary and secondary data, as well as observational analysis of customer interactions on social media. The results of the study show that the rebranding carried out by IndiHome, including changes in name, logo, and slogan, has a significant impact on customer perception. This study also provides recommendations for further research to explore other aspects such as corporate social responsibility and advertising strategies used. Thus, this study is expected to provide deeper insights into the dynamics of rebranding in the context of internet services in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research explains local leadership communication in the Ngaruwat Bumi tradition in Banceuy Village, Subang Regency. The description of the life of the Banceuy Village community as seen from local leadership based on social position and the social role of the actors in the Banceuy Traditional Village community is important in seeing the course of Ngaruwat Bumi rituals and traditions. This local leadership role is related to religion and belief which is centered on the Tatali Karuhun value system as a legacy of previous ancestral traditions. The myth of Dewi Sri, known as the spiritual figure Nyi Pohaci, was transformed into a rice plant, the staple food of the local community. So rice is considered a holy and sacred plant. This ritual is a way of honoring the existence of Dewi Sri (Goddess of Rice) who has given blessings to the lives of the people of Banceuy Traditional Village by dancing and singing Dewi Sri. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach, through observation, literature study and interviews with traditional leaders of the Banceuy Indigenous village using purposive sampling techniques. The research results show that communication and the role of local leadership through the Ngaruwat Bumi ritual in Banceuy Subang Village is a local tradition that emphasizes the importance of ritual in fostering dialogue between humans and nature. This involves various aspects, including verbal, symbolic and social interactions, which aim to maintain and strengthen cultural identity and community values. These rituals also function as mediators of conflict between local residents and external authorities, increasing cultural awareness, environmental conservation, and social life.

Abstract

The 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) in Indonesia marks a new chapter in the dynamics of political communication, which is increasingly shifting into the digital realm. Social media has become not only a campaign tool but also an arena for an intense and systematic battle over political narratives. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon referred to as a media political coup, namely the domination and control of digital space by political actors through structured communication strategies, and to evaluate the legal regulations governing freedom of speech on digital platforms. Using a qualitative social research method, this study examines how digital communication strategies are implemented in political contests and how policies such as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) and regulations issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) affect citizens’ freedom of expression. The results show that the digital space during the 2024 Presidential Election has become a central arena for shaping public opinion through intensive and structured strategies employed by political actors. The massive use of social media, digital algorithms, and buzzer networks has led to the dominance of certain narratives, even to the point of displacing critical opposing discourses. In addition, the misuse of ambiguously interpreted articles within the UU ITE to silence criticism and restrict freedom of expression has had a negative impact on the quality of democracy. Therefore, there is a need to strengthen digital literacy among the public and update regulations to ensure that democracy in the digital era is maintained fairly and transparently
