Abstract

Website accessibility is essential for guaranteeing that digital services are accessible to all users, including those with visual impairments.  This research assesses the accessibility of the Panti Pendowo website in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 standards and utilises the Google Lighthouse evaluation tool.  The findings reveal that the page loading speed received a score of 70, website responsiveness 80, code efficiency 65, and heading structure 60.  Nonetheless, notable deficiencies were noted, including inadequate colour contrast (50), ineffective keyboard navigation (55), and insufficient utilisation of alternate text for images (40).  The findings indicate that although the website functions adequately, enhancements in accessibility are necessary.  Essential recommendations encompass improving colour contrast, optimising keyboard navigation, clarifying heading hierarchies, and incorporating alternate text for images.  The enhancements intend to render the website more inclusive and to enhance the user experience for visually impaired persons.

Abstract

WebGIS is an online-based application of Geographic Information System, this application is a combination of web design and web mapping. WebGIS is mainly used for publishing map-based spatial information. Therefore, the author utilized webGIS, in order to mapping area that prone to landslides by using scoring and weighting methods. Parameters that used in this paper referring to the estimation model by Puslittanak in 2004, the parameters were rainfall, rock type, slope, land use, and type of soil maps. The determination of area prone to landslides was carried out by multiplying score by weight for each parameter, subsequently, the result was added up according to the reference of Puslittanak. The result of this study indicates that there are 4 sub-districts with high disaster-prone level, the sub-districts are Ampel, Cepogo, Musuk, and Selo. The final result of the map processed into a webGIS by applying Google maps service and framework bootstrap; the webGIS can be accessed by internet browser.

Abstract

This study aims to identify accessibility violations on the official website of the X Regency Government by referring to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA level standards. The study adopts a descriptive quantitative method with a case study approach. Testing was conducted through an audit using aXe DevTools on the website's main page, so that each finding could be classified based on four accessibility principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR). The test results showed 35 accessibility violations, consisting of 17 Critical categories and 18 Serious categories. No violations were identified under the Moderate or Minor categories. The largest finding was in the Perceivable principle, specifically related to the lack of alternative text on image elements and low color contrast. In addition, in the Operable principle, problems were found in the form of links without clear descriptive text and difficulties in using keyboard-based navigation. These accessibility issues suggest that the website does not fully comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, which may hinder inclusive access to public digital services. Thus, the level of accessibility compliance of the X Regency Government website is still not optimal. Improvements need to be made through technical and policy approaches. From a technical perspective, developers must ensure the addition of appropriate alternative text, improvements to color contrast ratios, and optimization of link structures and navigation features. From a policy perspective, continuous training for developers and sustainable governance measures are crucial to maintaining accessibility compliance. By strengthening developer capacity and implementing sustainable policies, local government websites can move towards more inclusive, responsive, and user-friendly digital public services for all users, including those with disabilities. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of accessibility

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital communication technologies has heightened the demand for robust data security methods, particularly for safeguarding sensitive information against cyber threats. Steganography, the art of concealing data within digital media, offers an effective means of securing communication by masking the very existence of hidden messages. This study evaluates the Two Least Significant Bits (2LSB) method as an enhancement to the conventional Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique, focusing on improving storage capacity and resistance to detection. The research employs a quantitative methodology, conducting experiments to analyze the impact of data embedding on image quality using metrics such as Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). Data embedding was tested on images of varying sizes and resolutions, with results compared before and after embedding. The study also evaluates the system’s tolerance to compression and robustness against steganalysis attacks, such as histogram analysis and noise detection. The results demonstrate that the 2LSB method significantly enhances storage capacity while maintaining high image quality. For instance, PSNR values remained above 40 dB across all tested images, indicating minimal visual distortion. The method also showed resilience to lossless compression formats such as PNG, with minimal impact on data integrity. However, lossy compression formats like JPEG posed challenges in maintaining the embedded data. The MSE values before and after embedding were minor, ensuring that the hidden data remained undetectable under standard analysis. This research contributes to developing more efficient and secure steganography techniques, providing practical applications in protecting sensitive data during transmission. The findings underline the 2LSB method's potential as a viable solution for digital security, balancing enhanced storage capacity with robust resistance to detection. Future work should further explore integrating advanced encryption with 2LSB to strengthen data protection in diverse digital environments

Abstract

Kudus Gebyok crafts, a significant intangible cultural heritage, face threats from artisan regeneration issues, traditional production inefficiencies, and limited market reach. This study aims to empower the Gebyok Creative Economy Center by integrating technological innovation and digitalization to ensure cultural conservation. A participatory action research approach was employed with two artisan partners, involving the modernization of production tools, training in digital motif design, registration of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and development of digital marketing strategies. The results demonstrated significant improvements, with the adoption of modern machinery increasing production efficiency by up to 81.56%. Additionally, five distinctive motifs were successfully digitized and legally protected through IPR registration, and market access was expanded through the creation of social media channels and an e-catalog. In conclusion, the strategic implementation of technology and digitalization proved effective in enhancing production capacity while safeguarding cultural assets. This research contributes a replicable empowerment model for other heritage-based creative industries, demonstrating a viable pathway to synergize cultural preservation with economic sustainability in the modern era.

Abstract

aspects such as packaging as an effective marketing strategy. This study aims to redesign the packaging of Kedai Mie Esha to make it more attractive, informative, and reflective of a consistent brand identity. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method with a qualitative approach, encompassing observation, interviews, SWOT analysis, design, validation, revision, and product testing. Data were collected through direct interaction with the owner and field observation. Findings reveal that the previous styrofoam packaging lacked visual appeal and brand identity. The redesigned packaging, made from ivory paper and polypropylene for beverages, integrates visual elements such as the logo, warm color tones, bold typography, and business contact information. The final design enhances visual appeal, strengthens brand image, and improves promotional effectiveness across both offline and online platforms. The study implies that integrating aesthetic and functional elements in packaging design plays a crucial role in increasing product value and expanding market reach, especially for local culinary businesses.

Abstract

Autistic children are a term for children who have nervous system disorders that affect their daily behavior. Classification of children's emotions is a pediatric-related treatment that helps identify psychology, as in autistic children. Several models of handling children's emotions have used digital media for the therapeutic use of children with the need for concentration control and learning habits. Art therapy can use technology media to provide treatment through fun and interactive games. The sensation of technology can give space and time for the emotional fulfillment of autistic children. One of the uses of technology that can be used for learning autistic children is through educational website applications. The website’s function provides the right solution to current needs in learning at school, with family, and in the surrounding environment. The material resource facility supports many references and literature using audio-visual media, games, and interactive learning.
