Metode TPR adalah salah satu metode untuk pengajaran bahasa pada anak usia dini karena penerapannya berhubungan antara koordinasi perintah, ucapan dan gerak sehingga seorang anak lebih mudah untuk menguasai suatu bahasa dalam pembelajarannya. Tujuan  penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana guru TK Aisyiyah 5 Tanggulangin mengajarkan bahasa Inggris dengan metode TPR pada siswanya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif deskriptif. Non partisipan observasi dan wawancara dilakukan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari tiga belas aspek metode TPR ditemukan bahwa guru lebih sering mengimplementasikan TPR pada natural conditions baik di dalam maupun di luar jam pelajaran. Pada penerapan metode TPR diketahui juga ternyata siswa tidak hanya merespon dengan gerakan fisik atau non verbal saja tapi juga dengan respon ucapan atau verbal. Data wawancara menunjukkan bahwa guru lebih kreatif menggunakan metode TPR dengan tidak terpaku pada satu materi yang diberikan pada jam pelajaran bahasa Inggris namun juga dalam berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi di luar kelas. Dengan metode TPR yang diaplikasikan pada kegiatan sehari-hari oleh guru di lingkungan sekolah dapat membuat siswa lebih mudah memahami bahasa Inggris.Total physical response (TPR) method is one of the methods for language teaching in early childhood because its application is related to coordination of command, speech and action. So, children are easier to master a language in their learning. The purpose of this research is to analyze how teachers at TK Aisyiyah 5 Tanggulangin teaches English by using TPR method to their students. This research method use qualitative descriptive design. Non-participant observation and interviews are conducted as the data collection techniques. The results of this research indicate that from the thirteen aspects of the TPR method the teachers are more likely to implement TPR in natural conditions both inside and outside of the classroom. In the application of TPR method is also known that students not only respond with physical movement or non verbal language but also with utterance or verbal response. Interview data shows that teachers are more creative using the TPR method by not fixating on one material given during English language lesson but also in interacting and communicating outside the classroom. By using TPR method which applied in daily activities by teachers in the school environment can make students more easily understand the English.

Self-efficacy is influential in determining someone's future competence. Identifying self-efficacy towards pre-service teachers provides significant information about how competent they are in applying theoretical concepts of teaching in the real school. It also becomes reflection for the institution on the quality of courses related to TEFL carried out in the implemented curriculum. Accordingly, this study aims to investigate pre-service EFL teachers' self-efficacy during the teaching practicum. This is a qualitative study involving 27 EFL teacher candidates who conducted teaching performance in some different schools. To collect the data, online Likert scale questionnaire was disseminated to the informants. The responses were interpreted through percentage and analyzed descriptively. The results indicated that generally the pre-service teachers' self-efficacy in terms of teaching skill, constructing and applying lesson plan, assessment, and classroom management, was quite high although some of them seemed to find difficulties in carrying out some classroom activities with the students. Self-efficacy analysis towards EFL learners’ practicum gives implication to any institutional parties for preparing the better quality and program of future generation teachers.Keywords: competent; teacher candidate; self-efficacy; reflection.

The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of teachers and parents about the importance of Clean and Healthy Behaviour (PHBS). Clean and healthy behavior is also a set of behaviours practiced by learners, teachers and the school environment community on the basis of awareness so that independently able to prevent disease, improve health, and play an active role in creating a healthy environment. This community service activity is carried out in kindergarten of Aisyiyah 6 and kindergarten of Riadhus Sholihin at Kecamatan Candi Sidoarjo. The Method used in implementing this community service undertaken to solve the existing problems for those partner schools, such as 1) Workshop on integrating the implementation of Clean and Healthy Behaviour (PHBS) in learning activities, 2) parenting activities about healthy food for children. The result of this community service activity is a school regulation which contains about eight indicators of school PHBS implementation, scheduling five supporting activities of school PHBS implementation, and children not snacking haphazardly.

The development of the globalization information system and the effects of the global pandemic almost demands almost everyone to optimize technology in response to various problems, including literature and writing. This article presents cyber literature as an alternative for the development of Pena Perajut Aksara, a women writers community in Sidoarjo. The problems studied were how the pattern of writing strategies for this community and how the community responds to cyber literature development as an alternative writing strategy. To answer the problems raised, researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. Theoretically, the researcher applied Pierre Bourdieu's perspective on the Field of Cultural Production. The data collected by using the unstructured interview method. The results of this study indicate that as the main strategy, this community relies on the curation of authors who have been consecrated as curators. Meanwhile, the development of electronic/cyber-literature has also begun to be taken seriously as a strategy to achieve consecration for this community. As an impact of research limitations on descriptive patterns, this study's results suggest more comprehensive and multi-disciplinary research to provide more concrete and measurable recommendations for the community in achieving consecration and broader public recognition in the future.

This research discusses the community of women writers in Sidoarjo using a feminist sociological perspective. The purpose of this research is to formulate the pattern of relations of this community with the structure of the field of authorship using Bourdieu's perspective. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive patterns. Data were collected using a combination of interview and documentation techniques using library research procedures. The results showed that this community of women writers had an awareness of the existence of dominant-dominated binary opposition structures and included aspects of gender considerations in their authorship strategies, but they chose patterns as used in universalist feminism.

The aims of this research are to identify the typeof code mixingon debate of president and vice president candidates and to know the types of code mixing process and also to investigate the elements of English which appear in code mixing on debate of president and vice president candidates 2014 in Indonesia. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative because the data are in the form of words not in the form of numbers. The instruments used in this research is observation, the writer uses non-participant observation because the writer is not directly involved in the activities. In order to obtain an accurate and valid data, the writer recorded the source of data. The results of this research show that the type of code mixing found in this research is outer code mixing because the Indonesia language mixed with English. Besides,it is found that there are three types of code mixing process in the utterances; insertion, alternation, and congruent lexicalization. In this research also found the English code mixing elements, such as Word 186 (94, 89%), Phrase 107 (54,59%) and Clause 1 (0.51 %).

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of charades game on elementary school students in improving English vocabulary as a foreign language. The source of the data in this study were 5th grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama Tropodo Sidoarjo, while the data  was the application of charades game to 5th grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama Tropodo before and after being given a test. Researchers use use pre-experimental quantitative design as the research method. This study uses one group pretest and posttest. The data obtained from the pretest and posttest which is analyzed by using the t-test formula. The results show that at the 5% level the t-test value is higher than t-table (tt) (4.53 2.024). Based on the test criteria, the results of the study show that there is a significant influence on the students' vocabulary skills after using charades game. It proves that charades game can improve the foreign language vocabulary of Islamic elementary school students, especially in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tropodo Sidoarjo. DOI: 10.26905/enjourme.v4i2.4258

Game is one of the supporting media in classroom learning. In general, learning media refers to everything that is used to convey messages from the sender of the message to the recipient of the message that can increase or develop the horizons of thinking, feeling, and learning interest of students or students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of board game learning media in the classroom when applied as a support for continuous learning. This research was conducted in class VIII SMP PGRI 8 Sidoarjo. The findings of this study use quantitative methods, there are two instruments used by researchers, namely the results of the LKS taken twice. Interactional strategies are very important especially for English as a foreign language learners which can help the learners negotiate of the meaning during the interaction in speaking activity. The aim of this research is to analyze the interactional strategies (ISs) utilized by three students at different levels (Low, Average, High) in speaking activity at the eighth grade students of SMP Islam As-Sakinah Sidoarjo. This research uses qualitative descriptive as a research design, which all of the data are obtained through observation and interview for three students at different level such as low level learner (LLL), average level learner (ALL) and high level learner (HLL). In brief, the results of this research show that LLL uses all aspects of interactional strategies in her speaking activity, average level learner (ALL) uses some aspects of interactional strategies and high level learner (HLL) almost never use the aspects of interactional strategies in his speaking activities.

This study aims to analyze the figurative language in the Maroon 5 Selected Song. In this study, the authors analyzed the song lyrics of nine songs belonging to Maroon 5, namely Shiver, Goodnight goodnight, The way i was, Moves like jagger, Can't stop, Sweetest goodbye, Until you're over me, Ragdoll, and Woman. In this study the authors used qualitative methods. The data source used was the Maroon 5 singer with several selected songs. The data is taken in the figurative language used in the lyrics of the Maroon 5 song. Sources of data are taken from sources on the website in the form of Maroon 5 band song lyrics. The researcher can conclude that in the maroon 5 song there are seven types of figurative language. The figurative language meanings found in the song Maroon 5. Mostly represent what actually happened in the lives of the Maroon 5 members. He didn't write it down in a real sense. He uses figurative language to share his feelings. Contradictory figurative language is the dominant figurative language in Maroon 5's song. The type of figurative language he uses most is hyperbole.
