Abstract

Mathematics tutoring is motivated by children's low motivation and mathematical abilities. Tutoring is an activity provided by experts to help individuals face and solve problems related to learning. Therefore, this service activity aims to increase motivation to learn mathematics from an early age. The hope is that if the motivation to learn is good, then the learning results will also be good. The service activity involved 31 people. The method used is collaborative learning. Where students discuss in groups to solve mathematical problems. The result of this program is that students seemed more enthusiastic about learning during the activity. This is reflected in when doing the homework given by the teacher, students are more enthusiastic. At the end of the activity, students are given questions to measure the success of the tutoring activity. Of the 31 people, there were 87% of students with learning results above 75. Apart from that, students admitted that with tutoring activities students were more motivated in learning mathematics. Consequently, it can be concluded that tutoring activities can foster learning motivation and overcome difficulties in understanding mathematics. The impact of this activity is that the students are motivated to learn mathematics so that it can improve their performance and score.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan ini adalah untuk meliahat dan meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman siswa pada beberapa siklus pertemuan dalam penelitian ini. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik dan aktivitas guru selama proses pembelajaran pada setiap siklusnya terhadap pembelajaranTaksonomi Tumbuhan pada Materi Briyophyta dengan menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas atau classroom action research berbasis lasson study, yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini adalah Peserta didik Semester IV Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Merangin yang berjumlah 14 orang yang terdiri dari 3 laki-laki dan 11 perempuan. Instrumen penelitian in terdiri dari soal Essay Taksonomi Tumbuhan, lembar observasi aktivitas dan lembar observasi aktivitas mahasiswa. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian terdapat peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa pada siklus I sebesar 57,14% dan siklus II sebesar 92.85%. Selain itu aktifitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya, pada siklus I sebesar 64% dan siklus II sebesar 98%. Sikap peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran briyophyta dengan pendekatan konstruktivisme sangat aktif sebab memiliki respon positif.

Abstract

This research aims to develop LKPD based on problem based learning on social arithmetic subject matter for class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Merangin which is valid, practical, and effective. This form of research is known as Research and Development (R&D) and uses the ADDIE development model which has five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instrument used was a validation sheet filled out by five validators, a practicality questionnaire sheet and an interview guide for student responses and effectiveness in the form of observation sheets and learning outcomes test questions. These results show that the average score of the material expert validation is 4.27, the linguist validation is 4.40, and the media expert validation is 4.68. The overall validation value of 4.45 has a very valid category. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 80.32% having a fairly practical category. Student learning activities get an average percentage of 76.57% having an active category and the percentage of classical learning outcomes of 76.92% having an effective category. Thus, this research resulted in PBL-based LKPD for social arithmetic subject matter for grade VII students of SMPN 5 Merangin which was valid, practical, and effective

Abstract

This paper aims to investigate how the UNIQLO, the global Japanese fast fashion retailing group, drives their organization towards success. UNIQLO has a good product quality by introducing Heat Tech range of cold weather underwear lines which targeted at warm weather with affordable price. Besides, UNIQLO continues to develop its product via research and development to meet the needs of their customers. UNIQLO stores particularly are distinctive and have a clear positioning in the market. In 2014, UNIQLO launched its mobile online store through the smartphone app. UNIQLO emphasizes on giving the best satisfaction to their customers. The paper presents the factors that lead to organizational success in UNIQLO. These findings will have considerable implications for academics as well as practitioners. Finally, the paper also provides direction for future research.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning multimedia based on articulate storyline 3 on social arithmetic material for class VII students of SMP Negeri 12 Merangin which is valid, practical, and effective. This study uses research and development methods with the APPED model. These interactive learning multimedia was validated by five experts. Validity is seen from the validation sheet, the practicality of the response sheet and student interviews, and the effectiveness of learning outcomes and student learning activities. The results showed that the average score for the validation of mathematicians was 4.22 with a very valid category, Indonesian language experts 3.88 with a very valid category, media experts 4.78 with a very valid category, and teacher validation. mathematics 4.80 with a very valid category. The overall validity score is 4.58 with a very valid category. The proportion of students' responses was 82.27% in the practical category. The percentage of classical learning outcomes is 77.3% in the effective category and the average percentage of student activity is 68.64% in the active category. Based on the results of research and development, it was stated that interactive learning multimedia was valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the influence of the Effectiveness of Internal Control, Compensation Suitability, and Organizational Ethical Culture on Accounting Fraud. This research used a quantitative approach with primary data resources obtained from distributing questionnaires to all PT. Haryono Tours & Travel Surabaya staffs. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling using a saturated sampling method involving 28 respondents. The research questionnaire used a Likert scale with five responses rated from 1 to 5. The data processing method used multi-regression analysis utilizing SPSS software version 25. The results of this study show that the effectiveness of the internal control variable has a significant negative effect on accounting fraud, while compensation suitability and the organizational ethical culture variables do not affect accounting fraud. Then the result of this study obtained that the effectiveness of internal control, compensation suitability, and the organizational ethical culture variables simultaneously have a significant effect on accounting fraud.
