Abstract

Aerobic endurance level (VO2max) is an important part of a hockey athlete's performance. It is very important to reduce fatigue and fatigue when playing, while it can be an advantage in game tactics. Therefore, the purpose of this researcher is to prove that there is a relationship between the level of aerobic endurance (VO2max) and the performance of hockey athletes. This research method uses descriptive quantitative with correlation technique research design. The sample used was 24 Bandung City hockey athletes including 12 male athletes and 12 female athletes and, sampling using total sampling techniques. The instruments used are the Multistage Fitness Test and GPAI (Game Performance Assessment Instrument) for the performance level of hockey athletes. The results of the study analyzed using the Spearman's Rho test on SPSS stated that the data from the average value of the aerobic endurance level (VO2max) of room hockey was 50.00 with a standard deviation value of 10.01 and the lowest score was 37.52, the highest score was 65.82 and the total score was 1200. Meanwhile, the average value of athlete performance is 0.77 with a standard deviation value of 0.074 and the lowest score of 0.67, the highest score of 0.94 and a total score of 18.40. The correlation coefficient of the two variables is unidirectional which is positive 0.567 in the interpretation of moderate correlation. So the results of this study there is a relationship between the level of aerobic endurance (VO2max) on the performance of hockey athletes.

Abstract

The role of a referee is important in every football match. A referee sometimes makes mistakes which can affect the outcome of the match. Dissatisfaction with the decision given by a referee will give an impact on the performance shown in a football match. This study aimed to find out the satisfaction of football referees in making decisions in football matches based on the experience of the referee. This research is a quantitative study using descriptive research methods with a causal comparative research design. The research sample involved was the referee who served in the Indonesian League 1 match. The instrument of this study was a Soccer Referee Decision Satisfaction Scale questionnaire. Based on the results of data processing and analysis using the Independent sample T-Test, it was found that there were differences in the level of satisfaction of football referees in making decisions based on the experience of each referee. It indicates that the experience of a referee will affect the psychological aspects of the referee in making decisions.

Abstract

With the current development and advancement of technology, various types of high-tech auxiliary equipment have been gradually introduced into futsal matches to help referees officiate matches, starting with referee communication aids and now the introduction of Video Support. The Indonesian Pro Futsal League is adopting Video Support in the 2022/2023 competition season. The aim of this research is to find out an overview of the introduction of Video Support in futsal matches with the decision making of futsal referees. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method. This study is to find out what Video Support represents in the 2022/2023 futsal competition with percentages and a t test to determine the effect. The match variables that the researchers considered included: goals, penalties, yellow cards and red cards. The research results produced in this study were that for VS goals, the average score was 0.167, for yellow cards 0.227, for red cards 0.524, and for violations 0.102. In other words, the use of VS in pro futsal league matches has a good picture, especially in helping futsal referees in making decisions on the field. Meanwhile, to find out the effect, the results obtained showed that there was a significant influence of the use of video supports on the futsal referee's decision making in the field, with a calculated t test result of 8.544 t table 1.623. When the referee experiences problems in making decisions, especially in goals, yellow cards, red cards and undetected violations, the role of video support will help the referee in making better decisions.

Abstract

This study used an ex-postfacto descriptive study research method. The research instrument used a heart rate monitor based on the POLAR M600 smartwatch with Global Positioning System sensors to calculate the total distance traveled by the referee and the assistant referee, the average of the maximum speed, and analyze the physical intensity performed by the referee during leading a match to measure physical fitness. Data analysis used Normality Test and Norms Reference Assessment. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical activity profile of the referees and assistant referees when serving in Liga 1 Shopee 2019/2020. The physical activities of 5 referees (FIFA) and 7 assistant referees (FIFA) were analyzed in 12 shopee league 1 matches in the period January to March 2020 with the status of the top-ranked match. The results of the findings of this study indicate that the distance traveled by the referee is greater than that of the assistant referee. The average heart rate of the referee is higher than that of the assistant referee, and the maximum average heart rate of the referee is greater than that of the assistant referee. Then the maximum speed of the assistant referee is higher than the maximum speed of the referee. In general, the referee's average running speed is higher than the assistant referee's average speed. In conclusion, there is a difference between physical activity between the referee and the assistant referee. Therefore, a different fitness training program is needed to prepare them to lead the match

Abstract

Agility is one of the physical demands needed in futsal. One effort to improve agility is through small-sided games training. Agility has a vital function, especially in coordinating multiple or simultaneous movements, facilitating mastery of techniques, and allowing players to accelerate when tricking opponents, and effectively utilizing relatively narrow spaces both when attacking and defending. This study aims to determine the effect of small-sided games training on improving the agility of futsal players. This research method uses an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design involving 24 futsal players. Sample selection uses the Total Sampling Technique, with 12 treatments. This research instrument uses the Illinois Agility Test to measure the player's abilities before and after being given treatment. After the data is obtained, it is analyzed using SPSS Version 26 using the t-test. the calculated t value is 6.051 with a Sig. value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 and for conventional training results the calculated t is 3.997 with a Sig. value. (2-tailed) of 0.002. Based on the test results, the Sig. (2-tailed) value of both treatments Sig. <0.05 so that H0 is rejected. For the results of the Independent sample t-test which aims to determine the difference in the influence of different treatments, the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.011 <0.05. So it can be stated that there is a significant difference in the influence of small-sided games training with conventional training on the agility of futsal players. The conclusion of this study is that the small-sided games training method has a more significant effect than conventional training on the agility of futsal players. The recommendation from this study, to improve the agility of futsal players, it is better to apply small-sided games training than conventional training
