Abstract

Changes that occur chemically and physically on cooking oil used to fry during which in turn will affect the quality of the product is fried. The chemical changes that occur such as free fatty acid, thiobarbituric acid, peroxide; whereas physical changes such as: color, smoke point, viscosity, smell and taste. The resulting chemical changes, namely an increase in free fatty acids and physically namely oil colors become darker, the increase in viscosity and a decrease in smoke point. This study aims to determine the free fatty acid content and viscosity of the oil that has been used repeatedly. The results of this study are expected to produce information about the quality of frying oil that has been used repeatedly, so that it can be seen up to frying how many times the result of frying oil can still be used. Repetition frying can lead to increased free fatty acids in the oil frying and getting repeatedly used the free fatty acid content further increased. Repetition of frying oil used more and the quality has gone downhill since free fatty acid content is higher. The content of free fatty acids in the oil was frying chicken giving a very real difference to the result of frying oil bananas. Repetition pan many times can increase the viscosity of the oil. The viscosity of the oil was frying bananas providea very real difference to the chicken frying oil

Abstract

This research aims to determine the judge's considerations in carrying out his juridical function to adjudicate cases, whether they align with legal principles governing marriage and protecting children's rights, and how social stigma influences the judge's decision-making process in many instances.  Interviews were conducted directly to create effective and efficient discussions to collect the primary data. In addition, data was obtained through literature and research studies, including regulations, documents, and related books.  This paper examines a case study concerning a judge's decision to grant dispensation to a married couple not yet of legal age due to a request for parental guardianship submitted to the Gorontalo Religious Court in decision Number 10/Pdt.P/2021/PA. The findings show that the convergence of various legal aspects, cultural values, and social norms can influence judges' considerations in determining child marriage dispensations. The issue of child marriage in Indonesia is complex and needs serious attention. A legal framework must support objective legal principles, take into account the needs and interests of all parties, and overcome social stigma against child marriage.

Abstract

Makassar City is a city that is experiencing growth. With growth, changes in land use that occur in a city indirectly have an impact on increasing surface temperatures. With the development of remote sensing technology, it is now possible to determine the effect of changes in land cover on changes in surface temperature in the city of Makassar. This type of research is quantitative. using satellite imagery interpretation analysis to see changes in land use and LST (Land surface temperature) analysis to measure surface temperature. The results of the study are the Makassar City Sub-Urban Area. There has been a change in land use from 2017 to 2021, namely 4.5% or 339.6 Ha and from 2017 to 2021 there has been a change in surface temperature in the Sub-Urban Area of ​​Makassar City with an average increase of 4.6°C - 5.8°C. Then, based on the results of the simple linear regression test, there is an effect of changes in land use on surface temperature in the moderate category. ah Or other related agencies, in order to reduce the impact of increasing surface temperature due to changes in land use, it is necessary to control changes in land use and the government so that they can refer to this research as material for the Makassar City spatial plan as well as strategies for program planning policies in Makassar City Sub-Urban Area.

Abstract

Abstract. The Padang Sappa Traditional Market in Ponrang District, Luwu Regency, has a waste management problem, and the surrounding community is still underrepresented in garbage management, which has an adverse effect on the market's ecology. In an effort to promote community involvement in trash management in the Padang Sappa Traditional Market, Ponrang District, Luwu Regency, this study aims to pinpoint the reasons for low community participation. Both quantitative and qualitative (descriptive) data analysis are used in this study. To identify the influential elements, quantitative analysis using the Chi Square test (chi square) with a significant value of 0.05 (a = 0.05) was employed, while to find out efforts to increase community participation in waste management descriptive analysis was used using source triangulation method, theory, policy and the results of the analysis of the most influential factors. According to the analysis's findings, the level of education and employment/income, with values of sig=0.000 and a=0.05, are the variables that have the greatest impact on community participation in waste management. While outreach initiatives are used to enhance community involvement in trash management, the government also plays a role by establishing tight regulations and good infrastructure.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors causing the limited availability of Green Open Spaces (GOS) in Masamba City, evaluate the impacts of this scarcity, and formulate development strategies to support sustainability. The research methodology encompasses both qualitative and quantitative approaches, involving data collection through observation, documentation, interviews, and analysis using the Green Blue Index (GBI), as well as a literature review and qualitative descriptive analysis. The study findings reveal that the availability of GOS in Masamba City, as measured by the GBI, is influenced by factors such as limited funding, restricted land availability, low community engagement, and insufficient government awareness regarding the importance of GOS. Qualitative analysis also identifies adverse consequences of the GOS shortage, including increased air pollution, reduced rainwater absorption capacity, and higher temperatures. Efforts to develop GOS must consider economic, social, and environmental aspects of sustainable development. This includes wise financial allocation, efficient land management, increased community participation, and heightened awareness and education about the benefits of GOS for the environment and community well-being. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers and the Masamba City community to enhance the availability of Green Open Spaces and effectively integrate them into urban development planning to achieve comprehensive sustainable development goals.

Abstract

Komoditas ikan bandeng di Kabupaten Maros merupakan produk unggulan yang cukup dikenal dan diminati oleh masyarakat baik konsumen lokal maupun dari berbagai daerah. Ikan bandeng adalah salah satu ikan yang favorit karena mempunyai rasa yang enak sekali jika dimasak dengan bumbu yang pas. Ikan bandeng sangat melimpah namun belum dilakukan pengolahan yang maksimal untuk meningkatkan nilai jualnya. Kelemahan utama dari ikan bandeng adalah durinya yang sangat banyak dan duri-duri kecil yang terdapat diseluruh tubuh ikan bandeng cukup merepotkan apalagi pada ikan bandeng yang kecil. Selain itu, kerusakan akibat proses pembusukan pada ikan bandeng dirasakan sangat menghambat usaha pemasaran ikan bandeng dan menimbulkan kerugian besar bagi petambak ikan bandeng yang menjadi mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan usaha untuk mengatasi kelemahan utama dari ikan bandeng yaitu dengan menghilangkan duri-duri yang sangat banyak terdapat diseluruh tubuh ikan bandeng dengan menerapkan teknologi cabut duri. Teknologi cabut duri ini menghasilkan ikan bandeng segar tanpa duri-durinya yang menganggu.Kata kunci: Maros, produk unggulan, ikan bandeng, bandeng cabut duri.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Teknologi cabut duri yang telah diterapkan pada komoditas ikan bandeng yang merupakan produk unggulan dari Kabupaten Maros menghasilkan ikan bandeng segar tanpa duri. Ikan bandeng segar tanpa duri siap diolah menjadi produk abon ikan bandeng dan bakso ikan bandeng. Produk bandeng cabut duri yang dihasilkan dengan kenampakan yang sudah cukup baik dan semua duri yang banyak terdapat pada ikan bandeng jika dikonsumsi sudah tidak menganggu lagi dan jika diraba tidak terasa lagi ada durinya. Produk bandeng cabut duri memiliki tekstur daging sama dengan bandeng segar yang masih memiliki duri dan dikemas dalam kemasan vakum per ekor, sehingga tidak terdapat lagi udara dalam kemasan yang dapat merusak mutu bandeng cabut duri. Produk abon ikan bandeng yang dihasilkan sudah baik dengan cita rasa yang khas dari ikan bandeng serta warna abon yang berwarna coklat kekuningan dan dikemas dalam kemasan standing pouch per 125 gram. Produk bakso ikan bandeng yang dihasilkan juga sudah baik dengan cita rasa yang khas dari ikan bandeng serta warna bakso ikan bandeng berwarna keputihan serta dikemas dalam kemasan vakum per 250 gram. Produk bandeng cabut duri, abon ikan bandeng dan bakso ikan bandeng siap dijadikan sebagai produk unggulan dari Kabupaten Maros Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Kata kunci: Produk unggulan, bandeng cabut duri, abon ikan bandeng, bakso ikan bandeng. ABSTRACT The thorn pulling technology applied to the milkfish commodity, an excellent product from Maros Regency, produces fresh thorn less milkfish. The thorn less fresh milkfish is ready to be processed into shredded milkfish products and milkfish meatballs. The resulting pulled out of thorns milkfish product with a fairly good appearance and all the thorns that are abundant in milkfish, if consumed, does not disturb anymore and no more thorns felt when touched by hand. The thorn milkfish product has the same meat texture as the fresh milkfish which still has thorns and is packaged in a vacuum per tail, so there is no more air in the package which can damage the quality of the product. The resulting shredded milkfish product is good with a distinctive taste of milkfish and yellowish brown shredded color and is packaged in a standing pouch per 125 grams. The milkfish meatball products produced are also good with the distinctive taste of the milkfish and the whitish color of the milkfish meatballs and are packed in vacuum packaging per 250 grams. The pulled out of thorns milkfish, shredded milkfish and milkfish meatballs products are ready to be used as excellent products from Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Abstract

Conventional agricultural practices, such as burning or discarding rice straw, contribute to environmental degradation, highlighting the need for sustainable alternatives like zero-waste utilization. This study aimed to convert rice straw into organic fertilizer, reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers, and promote sustainable agriculture in Rilau Ale District, Bulukumba Regency. Through a community-based program, farmers were trained in waste-processing techniques using simple technologies. The results showed that 85% of participants adopted the method, eliminating straw burning while improving soil fertility and reducing chemical fertilizer use. This initiative demonstrates that zero-waste straw management is a replicable model for advancing agricultural sustainability and environmental resilience.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Tim Dosen Fakultas Hukum Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya pencegahan perkawinan di bawah umur. Melalui kegiatan ini, siswa dapat memahami peran masyarakat dan pemerintah dalam mencegah dan melindungi hak anak dari perkawinan di bawah umur. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pentingnya pencegahan perkawinan di bawah umur. Pemilihan metode penyuluhan hukum dipandang relevan karena mampu menjangkau langsung peserta didik dengan pendekatan interaktif, diskusi kelompok, serta studi kasus yang berkaitan dengan praktik perkawinan anak di masyarakat. Metode ini juga dilengkapi dengan penyampaian materi berbasis regulasi yang berlaku, seperti Undang-Undang Perkawinan dan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Anak, sehingga siswa tidak hanya memahami teori tetapi juga aspek normatifnya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih memahami dampak negatif perkawinan anak, baik dari sisi normatif, pendidikan, kesehatan, maupun sosial. Selain itu, mereka juga menyadari pentingnya peran keluarga, sekolah, dan aparat pemerintah dalam mencegah terjadinya praktik tersebut. Kesadaran ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bekal bagi siswa untuk turut berperan aktif dalam menyuarakan pencegahan perkawinan di bawah umur di lingkungan mereka.
