Abstract

Waste or also known as rubbish is a problem that is quite complex for the government to handle, especially household waste which is never separated from the use of inorganic or organic materials every day. In maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, especially in the city, especially in Balikpapan, existing waste is separated at disposal. By referring to green environment principles, it is hoped that people will not throw rubbish or waste carelessly or at certain times. Referring to the problem of handling waste made from glass, in this case glass bottle waste, this article examines the use of glass bottle waste to increase family creativity which has economic value. The aim of writing community service is to: 1) Increase the community's sense of awareness in efforts to handle solid waste, in this case glass material waste. 2) Can provide information to the public about how to recycle glass waste. The type of method used is qualitative, document study and narrative in nature. There are various ways of recycling, in the study of community service writing it is how to disseminate useful information to society at the lowest level, namely households. Where waste management can begin to be implemented in the home and family environment, this can of course also be a motivation and build creativity in the skilled hands of children at home. where they can be given an understanding of how to create a clean and comfortable living environment, as well as foster creativity that creates added value that is beneficial from an economic perspective. Treatment for waste management starts from the smallest line, namely the family or household. The application of the go green concept with 3R can be applied in households in waste management, one of which is inorganic waste, namely glass bottles.

Abstract

NDT is a scientific field of engineering that includes testing and inspection of materials and equipment which is useful for evaluating a condition, finding deficiencies and defects, and also extending the useful life of the infrastructure used. The main difference between non-destructive testing and other forms of material evaluation is that non-destructive testing allows evaluation or inspection of parts on site without having to permanently modify or damage the part. In maintaining the credibility of the company's services, the company adopting NDT/NDE testing techniques in carrying out regular inspections or checks on the tools used, one of which is the application of the ultrasonic method on the Super POD (Programmable Optimum Density). Based on this background, the author chose the theme of the study to write a scientific paper entitled “Application of Ultrasonic Methods in Super POD Thickness Measurement Examination”. The SBF-624 Super POD (programmable optimum density, POD) is a trailer-mounted fracturing service blender that can blend and pump up to 120 barrels per minute of fracturing slurry. The Super POD computers precisely control the solid-to-liquid ratio of the prop pant at design values in either ramp or stair-step mode. The results of observations of objects that have been inspected using the ultrasonic method, namely measuring the thickness of the Super POD SBF 624, from the good results without any defects being detected, and cleaned in surface condition so it can be said that the machine has shown good effective results and can meet the standards for using tools for the company.

Abstract

Background. Learning in this century has experienced a significant transformation, especially with the emergence of mobile learning technology. In this context, learning Mathematics becomes an important focus because it is often considered a challenging subject for some students. The problem that arises is the lack of student involvement and difficulty in understanding Mathematics concepts. Purpose. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of mobile learning in increasing student involvement in Mathematics learning. By using a quantitative approach through a survey model, this research aims to collect data from mathematics education teachers and students to understand the impact of mobile learning in a broader learning context. Method. This research will adopt a quantitative approach using a survey model. Researchers will compile a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire with carefully prepared answer choices, and then collect it via the Google Form platform. The research subjects consisted of 30 respondents who were mathematics education teachers and students, who were chosen randomly from the existing population. Results. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that the use of mobile applications in mathematics learning had a positive impact on student engagement, learning motivation, and sense of trust. themselves in solving mathematical problems. However, there is still room to improve interaction between students and teachers through mobile applications.   Conclusion. Overall, this research shows that mobile learning has great potential in improving Mathematics learning by increasing student engagement and strengthening interactions between students and teachers. However, further adjustments and developments need to be made to mobile applications to maximize their potential in a broader learning context.

Abstract

This bibliometric exploration delves into the evolving landscape of behavioral finance, employing a systematic analysis of scholarly publications from the past decade. The study maps key trends, influential authors, research themes, and emerging concepts within the interdisciplinary realm of behavioral finance, blending insights from psychology and economics. Through rigorous data collection and analysis using VOS Viewer, the research addresses four critical questions: identifying trends, profiling influential authors, categorizing research themes, and exploring potential future directions. The study reveals a dynamic field with a focus on psychological factors influencing financial decision-making. Key findings include influential authors such as Hirshleifer and Statman, thematic clusters encompassing market efficiency and investor sentiment, and emerging areas of interest like the impact of COVID-19 on financial behavior. The implications of this research extend to academia, practice, and policy, providing a valuable resource for navigating the complex landscape of behavioral finance.

Abstract

The oil and gas industry becomes an important industry for the community. The need to support survival is production carried out by the company. The company has an obligation when providing the services to the community by producing quality output. To produce good and high-quality results, one of the supporting factors is the existence of qualified production machine units that are able to operate optimally. With a planned machine maintenance system, it minimizes the occurrence of machine failures where the level of machine failure in production is very possible so that the unreliability of a machine can also occur. Therefore, the company must implement a maintenance system with an appropriate method to control the rate of machine failure. The Reciprocating Compressor C-8200 Unit is used as one of the other compressors in operations which of course has failures and also unplanned downtime. Minimizing the risk of failure in the unit, the research was conducted determining the extent to maintenance the assets with RAM Method on the Reciprocating Compressor C-8200 Unit, It has been carried out and this is also to introduce the company to the use of this method.
