Abstract

Background. Learning in this century has experienced a significant transformation, especially with the emergence of mobile learning technology. In this context, learning Mathematics becomes an important focus because it is often considered a challenging subject for some students. The problem that arises is the lack of student involvement and difficulty in understanding Mathematics concepts. Purpose. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of mobile learning in increasing student involvement in Mathematics learning. By using a quantitative approach through a survey model, this research aims to collect data from mathematics education teachers and students to understand the impact of mobile learning in a broader learning context. Method. This research will adopt a quantitative approach using a survey model. Researchers will compile a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire with carefully prepared answer choices, and then collect it via the Google Form platform. The research subjects consisted of 30 respondents who were mathematics education teachers and students, who were chosen randomly from the existing population. Results. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that the use of mobile applications in mathematics learning had a positive impact on student engagement, learning motivation, and sense of trust. themselves in solving mathematical problems. However, there is still room to improve interaction between students and teachers through mobile applications.   Conclusion. Overall, this research shows that mobile learning has great potential in improving Mathematics learning by increasing student engagement and strengthening interactions between students and teachers. However, further adjustments and developments need to be made to mobile applications to maximize their potential in a broader learning context.

Abstract

Discovery learning is an active, student-centered teaching method, where students are encouraged to independently explore and build their own understanding of a topic. This model can improve student learning at various levels of Education including higher education. However, there is no comprehensive meta-analysis of the effect size of research models in higher education. This study aims to conduct a meta-analysis of discovery learning interventions in higher education. Data sources come from 13 national and international journals published in 2022-2024. The source data was obtained through the scientific journal database google scholar, ScienceDirect, Wiley and ERIC. The inclusion criteria in this meta-analysis are that the research must be an experimental method; research comes from SINTA or Scopus indexed journals; Research must be relevant to the discovery learning model in higher education; Journals must be open access and have complete data to calculate the effect size. The results of this study concluded that the Discovery learning model had a significant impact applied to universities with an effect size value of 1,062; p < 0.001) with very high effect size criteria. The findings of this study support the use of discovery learning interventions in higher education.

Abstract

The flipped classroom model has become a popular learning model in recent years. This model reverses the traditional concept of learning by moving key learning activities outside the classroom, allowing students to learn independently through videos, modules, or other learning resources. This study aims to analyze the impact of the flipped classroom model on student learning through meta-analysis. The meta-analysis was conducted by collecting and analyzing the results of 14 primary studies examining the effectiveness of the flipped classroom model compared to traditional learning methods. Data analysis is a quantitative analysis with a JSAP application. The results of this study concluded that the meta-analysis results showed that the flipped classroom model had a significant positive impact on student learning with an overall effect size of 0.826; P < 0.001 is included in the high effect size category. The findings show that students who participate in learning with the flipped classroom model have better learning outcomes compared to students who follow traditional learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of problem-based learning on students' mathematical ability in understanding and applying polya stages. This research is a type of quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The sample of this study comes from 13 studies indexed by Sinta or Scopus published in 2021-2024. The data collection technique is direct observation with the PRISMA data selection method. The data analysis in this study is a quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size value with the help of the JASP application. The results of the study concluded that the problem-based learning model provided a significant impact on students' mathematical thinking ability in understanding and applying polya stages with a value of (d = 1.042; p < 0.001) with a medium effect size category

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh metode GASING dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi pembagian bilangan cacah sampai 100 di kelas IV UPTD SDN Kesek 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental design dengan jenis nonequivalent control grup design. Penelitian yang menggunakan sampel 30 siswa dari 20 siswa kelas ekspreimen dan 10 siswa kelas control. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t dependent. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan menggunakan metode GASING terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Berdasalkan hasil uji t dengan kaidah pengujian yaitu thitung>ttabel, 5.371>2,062 yang artinya Ho ditolak maka ada perbedaan signifikan metode GASING (Gampang, Asik, Menyenangkan) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi pembagian bilangan cacah sampai 100 di kelas IV UPTD SDN KESEK 1 Kecamatan Labang Kabupaten Bangkalan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika berdasarkan tahapan Polya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental) dan melibatkan siswa kelas IV UPTD SD Negeri Kesek 1. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pretest dan posttest, yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil analisis statistik, di mana nilai t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel (-23,005 > 2,110) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05. Implementasi model TGT membantu siswa memahami langkah-langkah penyelesaian soal berdasarkan tahapan Polya, meliputi memahami masalah, merencanakan solusi, melaksanakan rencana, dan memeriksa kembali hasil. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran TGT efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam soal cerita matematika. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan model TGT secara lebih luas, tidak hanya dalam pembelajaran matematika, tetapi juga pada mata pelajaran lain yang memerlukan kolaborasi dan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse strategies for improving digital literacy in primary school students through training in the use of technology-based learning applications. Digital literacy is an essential skill in today's digital era, where the ability to understand and use technology effectively is one of the keys to educational success. Using the literature study method, this research examines various educational technology approaches and applications that can improve digital literacy. The findings show that training in the use of learning applications, such as e-learning platforms, educational games and video-based applications, can improve students' digital literacy skills. In addition, the involvement of teachers as facilitators in the technology-based learning process is a key factor in the success of the training.

Abstract

The Effect of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on Anxiety and Depression Among Students in Science Education: A Meta-Analysis. This meta-analysis aims to evaluate the impact of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) on anxiety and depression specifically within the context of science learning. This study was conducted by integrating and evaluating the results of previous relevant studies to provide a comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of CBT in dealing with mental health problems in the adolescent population. The study sample consisted of 16 studies published between 2010 and 2023, which met inclusion criteria, such as experimental or quasi-experimental design, use of standardized scales to measure anxiety and depression, and a focus on CBT interventions. The meta-analysis revealed a significant positive effect of CBT on reducing anxiety and depression in science learning contexts (d = 0.945; z = 7.052; p < 0.001)."These findings support the use of CBT as a key approach in mental health interventions for adolescents, particularly in the context of education and primary health services.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi seperti ini sangat penting bagi guru sekolah dasar untuk mendorong siswa untuk menjadi kreatif dan inovatif dalam pembelajaran. Dengan peran ini, siswa memperoleh keterampilan berpikir kritis dan membantu dalam mengembangkan ide baru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan peran guru sekolah dasar dalam mendorong siswa untuk menjadi kreatif dan inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran. penelitian ini melibatkan 27 siswa kelas IV di SDN Kraton 1 Bangkalan. Dengan menggunakan lembar wawancara dan observasi, penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan sangat penting dalam mendorong siswa untuk menjadi kreatif dan inovatif saat belajar.
