Abstract

The utilization of the resources of shrimp penaeid in the eastern part of the archipelagic waters Aru and surrounding sub-region III, to estimate the abundance of shrimp by using the swept area method. The aim of research to determine the composition of species caught by shrimp trawlers using a double rig, Comparative production of penaeid shrimp catch in 2014 and in 2012. Potential sustainable and penaeid shrimp with Swept area method. Results Composition Penaeid Shrimp Catch in archipelagic waters Aru and surrounding sub-region (III). There are 9 types of penaeid shrimp with the amount of catches of 17 988 kg and is the most dominant type of Green Tiger Prawn (Penaeus semisulcatus), while the lowest amount was kind Banana Prawn (Penaeus merguensis). The results of a comparative test with Chi Square (χ2) turns Ho rejected and Ha accepted, wherein χ2 count 7.40 is greater than χ2 tables 0.05 (3.84) and χ2 tables 0.01 (6.63), this means that there are differences in yield catches in 2012 And in 2014 was very significant. There is a decline in production is very significant from 2012 until 2014. The potential outcome in the waters of the sub region Aru Islands and surrounding waters -III which covers 13,000 km2, where willingness stock (B) 579.58 tons, sustainable potential (MSY) amounted to 576.58 tons / year while the Total Allowable Catch (TAC) amounted to 463.67 tons / year.

Abstract

Pemetaan titik koordinat lokasi pengoperasian alat tangkap ikan pada suatu daerah penangkapan ikan sangat penting artinya untuk keperluan riset dan juga titik dasar penetapan kebijakan selanjutnya. Oleh karenanya diperlukanlah sebuah perangkat yang dapat dikerjakan dengan mudah , akurat dan cepat untuk dipergunakan dalam pembuatan peta daerah penangkapan ikan , dalam hal ini soft ware Ina-Geoportal hasil pengembangan Badan Informasi Geopasial (BIG). Mapping the coordinates of the location of the operation of fishing gear ina fishing area is very important for research purposes and all of point basis for setting future policy. Therefore requires the adevice that can be done easily, accurately and quickly to be used in the manufacture of fishing area maps, in this case the soft ware development Ina-Geoportal results geospatial Information Agency (BIG). Pengambilan data lapangan dilakukan selama 15 hari kerja operasi penangkapan ikan di Laut Aru. Data imputan meliputi lokasi , waktu kegiatan penangkapan dan hasil tangkapan dalam format Microsoft Excel csv. import data menghasilkan struktur data vektor (vector data structure) pada peta, sehinggga dengan cepat dan mudah dapat di jelaskan lokasi serta hasil tangkapan dari sebuah armada kapal ikan yang melakukan kegiatan penangkapan ikan di tiap lokasi serta dapat dilakukan koreksian data error. Data collection was carried out for 15 days field working fishing operationsin the Aru Sea. Imputan data includes location, time of fishing activity and catchescsv file in Microsoft Excel format. import data generating vector data structure (vector of data structure) on the map, so as to quickly and easily can be described as well as the location of the catch of a fishing leet that conduct fishing activities in each location as well as the data error correction scan be done.

Abstract

This journal discusses the surface sea water termperatures in offshore waters of Raja Ampat,West Papua province (Results Citra 2006-2008).retrieval of image data in August 2009 April 2010 on the islands of Raja.The results showed that the image of warmer sea surface temperatures in the wast season and transisi I cooler in summer while the east and transitional II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendiskripsikan penangkapan udang penaeid di Kabupaten Kaimana setelah moratorium dan Pelarangan Penangkapan ikan dengan Pukat Hela/Pukat Tarik untuk memberi gambaran dalam perencanaan pengelolaan perikanan udang yang berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian adalah metode survei lapangan dengan mengikuti langsung kegiatan operasi penangkapan oleh nelayan, pengukuran alat tangkap dan wawancara yang dilakukan mulai bulan September – November 2017 kemudian diolah dan di bahas secara deskriptif. Penangkapan udang penaeid di Kabupaten Kaimana setelah moratorium dan Pelarangan Penangkapan ikan dengan Pukat Hela/Pukat Tarik dilakukan oleh nelayan skala kecil yang berasal dari daerah Arguni dan Nelayan Kaimana menggunakan trammel net dan jaring udang monofilament dengan menggunakan perahu katinting dan longboat motor tempel. Penangkapan udang dengan jaring udang PA monofilament dilakukan pada perairan pesisir pantai pada kedalamanan 1 – 5 meter dan penangkapan udang dengan trammel net dilakukan pada perairan pesisir pantai pada kedalamanan 5 – 20 m. Umumnya dasar perairan lumpur berpasir dengan warna perairan keruh abu-abu, dan sepanjang pantai terdapat hutan mangrove dengan hasil tangkapan didominasi udang banana. Musim penangkapan terjadi pada bulan November – April untuk Perairan Arguni, dan Juni – Oktober di Perairan Teluk Kaimana.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze seagrass community structure in North Salawati District, Raja Ampat. The scope of research is limited to identification of seagrass biodiversity, analyzing the overrune level of seagrass type covering the area, analyzing the densities types of seagrass important value index frequencies, water parameters and seagrass area. Research method was purposive sampling by using transects with dimensions of 1 x 1 meter with a total of seven stations along 100 meters of seagrass area. The acquired data was analyzed by using analysis of closure type, density type, frequency type, and important value index. Results of biodiversity identification showed that there are two families of seagrass, Eight species of seagrass covering the area. The overrune of seagrass covering the area in both stations is very high. The area of coverage in the both areas is above 60% (> 60%), which classified as "healthy". The density of the species in both stations is very high which classified as medium dense. Temperature, pH, DO, salinity and turbidity are in the optimum level which classified as "good". The area which overrune by Seagrass in the waters of northern Salawati District is amounted to 5.7 km2.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis dan komposis lamun, penutupan lamun, kerapatan jenis lamun, dan sebaran lamun di Perairan Pulau Soop Kota Sorong-Papua Barat. Metode penelitian adalah eksploratif, yang mana pengambilan data keragaman jenis, komposisi dan kerapatan dilakukan menggunakan transek garis. Pengambilan data dengan Transek garis yang dilakukan pada setiap stasiun dengan cara posisi tegak lurus dengan garis pantai sepanjang setiap 10 m. Setiap transek garis dilakukan pencatatan data pada setiap 10 m tersebut, yang dimulai dari tepi pantai sampai tubir atau kedalaman tertentu. Data primer meliputi jenis lamun, tipe substrat, kerapatan, dan estimasi tutupan serta titik koordinat luasan dan titik pengambilan sampel. Kemudian data di analisis dan dibuatkan dalam bentuk peta dengan menggunakan software Arc-gis 10.6. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di Perairan Pulau Soop terdapat 7 jenis lamun yaitu yaitu jenis Syringodium isoetifolium, Thalassia hemprici, Cymodocea serrulate, Thalassodendron ciliatum, Halophila ovalis, Enhalus acoroides dan Halodule uninervis. Penutupan lamun tertinggi di stasiun penelitian sebelah Utara perairan pulau Soop sebesar 51,58%, sedangkan penutupan lamun tertinggi di stasiun penelitian sebelah Selatan pulau Soop sebesar sebesar 38.35%. Luas sebaran lamun di sebelah utara dan selatan Perairan Pulau Soop sekitar 2.665.00 m2.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of feeding trash and artificial feed on the growth and survival of juvenile duck grouper (Chromileptes altivelis). The research was conducted at the Ambon Marine Cultivation Center. The study consisted of 2 treatments, namely: Treatment A (trash feed) and Treatment B (artificial feed). The results showed that the growth rate and survival rate of juvenile duck grouper (Chromileptes altivelis) fed trash showed that the final average length was 10.56 cm and the final average weight was 11.52 grams, while the final average length was 11.52 grams. grouper duck fed artificial feed was 9.43 cm and the final average weight was 8.44 grams. The survival rate of grouper ducks given either artificial feed or trash feed resulted in a high survival rate of 100%.
