Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memotret dalam bentuk pemetaan potensi ekowisata pesisir berbasis kearifan lokal suku Mandar yang terdapat di pulau Kerayaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan-pendekatan Etnografi. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dapat diketahui makna yang ada di balik data-data yang diperoleh di lapangan, dan dapat dianalisis yang mana hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan salah satu pilihan alternatif dalam pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian ini berhasil memotret beberapa potensi budaya suku Mandar yang dapat mendukung pengembangan ekowisata pesisir berbasis kearifan lokal di Pulau Kerayaan yaitu Perahu Katir sebagai identitas Nelayan Mandar, Pamacca sebagai potret beladiri Mandar. Pengembangan wisata pesisir dan budaya suku mandar di Pulau Kerayaan, perlu perencanaan secara matang dengan memperhatikan kondisi lingkungan yang ada dan dapat mempengaruhi kegiatan wisata pesisir. Identifikasi terhadap kondisi lingkungan saat ini penting dilakukan sebagai dasar dalam pengambilan langkah untuk pengembangan wisata pesisir ke depan. Adapun kondisi lingkungan yang akan dimaksud terdiri atas dua komponen yakni kondisi lingkungan internal dan kondisi lingkungan eksternal. Lingkungan internal menyangkut kondisi/gambaran sumberdaya di daerah yang direncanakan, sedangkan lingkungan eksternal mengenai keadaan di luar yang dapat memasuki/menyentuh dan diperkirakan dapat berpengaruh kuat terhadap pengembangan daerah yang direncanakan untuk keperluan wisata pesisir dan budaya seperti kondisi sosial, politik, ekonomi, dan teknologi, energi dan konservasi sumberdaya alam.

Abstract

Social media affects all aspects of life, one of the most influential popular media platforms today is YouTube, which is easily accessible by teenagers. Therefore, the research objectives of this study (1) are to find the process of imitation in teenagers who watch Youtuber by students of SMP Negeri 3 Martapura. (2) Finding forms of imitation on Youtuber in the interactions that occur with students of SMPN 3 Martapura. The method in this study is a qualitative method. The data source was selected by Snowball Sampling with 8 students participating. The data collection used in the research are observation, interviews and documentation either directly or online. The results of the study show that (1) the process of imitation on Youtubers starts with easy accessibility. Like, the YouTube system itself and its social environment. Judging from the process which is divided into four stages, namely attentional, paying attention to Youtubers, retention which is storing what is watched, the formation of behavior where slowly imitation becomes behavior in the environment and is motivational, there is a motive for doing imitation behavior in the association (2) forms of communication in imitation are carried out. Copying behavior is seen from two forms of communication.The first is verbal, in the form of words either from mouth or in writing primarily (directly) or secondary (online).The second is non-verbal, namely in the form of symbols that can describe objects belonging to Youtubers in the form of physical, digital accessories or also additional gestures seen in the form of student social interaction.

Abstract

Pada era digital saat ini, penguasaan teknologi yang baik adalah kunci utama dalam mengembangkan bisnis melalui media sosial. Mitra kami KUBE Bahagia II dengan anggota para pengrajin tanggui, menghadapi permasalahan dalam mengembangkan jaringan usaha pada skala yang lebih luas. Mereka belum memahami konsep branding, manfaat memiliki merek dagang, dan cara mengembangkan usaha di media sosial. Untuk memasarkan tanggui ke pasar yang lebih luas, diperlukan pemasaran digital. Memulai bisnis online memerlukan strategi dan teknik pemasaran yang efektif, seperti pembuatan daftar produk dan pembukaan toko virtual melalui aplikasi e-marketing. Dalam kegiatan ini, pengrajin tanggui diperkenalkan pada merek produk mereka sendiri dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan penjualan dan kesadaran merek. Keberhasilan usaha terletak pada pemasaran, yang tidak hanya mencakup penjualan tetapi juga kepuasan pelanggan, sehingga menghasilkan keuntungan berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, fungsi pemasaran harus mendapatkan perhatian khusus dari pemilik usaha. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kami memberikan pemahaman kepada pengrajin tanggui tentang manfaat branding dan digital marketing bagi pengembangan usaha. Dengan demikian, mereka mampu membangun brand produk mereka dengan baik. Hal ini diperlukan untuk kesuksesan dalam memasarkan produk dan membangun kesadaran di masyarakat, melalui sosialisasi dan pemberian pamflet. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan lancar dan memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi pengembangan usaha para pengrajin tanggui, membantu mereka lebih siap dalam menghadapi pasar global.

Abstract

Remote Indigenous Communities (KAT) in Hulu Sampanahan Village face serious barriers in accessing formal education due to geographic isolation, economic limitations, poor infrastructure, and strong local cultural values. This community service program aimed to increase educational awareness while identifying factors that hinder school participation among KAT in Hulu Sampanahan. The program was carried out through participatory educational outreach and socialization using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving village officials, community leaders, and residents. The findings revealed that low school participation is mainly caused by the long distance to secondary schools (33–44 km), severely damaged road conditions, the absence of middle and high schools within the village, and low parental awareness (only about 30% encourage their children to continue to junior high school, and less than 10% aspire for higher education). In addition, more than 70% of children are involved in household and subsistence work. Through the educational sessions attended by 35 households, with 63% actively participating in discussions, the community gained new awareness regarding educational rights, the importance of secondary and higher education, as well as scholarship opportunities accessible to their children. As an impact, the program successfully built initial community awareness of the strategic value of education, while also identifying priority needs such as the establishment of satellite schools, the provision of school transportation, and sustained multi-stakeholder support. Thus, participatory and context-based educational empowerment has proven to be an effective initial step in fostering social transformation in remote Indigenous communities.Komunitas Adat Terpencil (KAT) di Desa Hulu Sampanahan menghadapi hambatan serius dalam mengakses pendidikan formal akibat keterpencilan geografis, keterbatasan ekonomi, buruknya infrastruktur, dan nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran pendidikan sekaligus mengidentifikasi faktor penghambat partisipasi sekolah pada Komunitas Adat Terpencil (KAT) di Desa Hulu Sampanahan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui edukasi dan sosialisasi berbasis partisipatif dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), melibatkan pemerintah desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan warga. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya partisipasi sekolah disebabkan oleh jarak ke sekolah menengah yang sangat jauh (33–44 km), kondisi jalan rusak berat, ketiadaan layanan pendidikan menengah di desa, rendahnya kesadaran orang tua (hanya sekitar 30% mendorong anak hingga SMP, dan kurang dari 10% hingga perguruan tinggi), serta keterlibatan lebih dari 70% anak dalam pekerjaan rumah tangga dan aktivitas ekonomi keluarga. Melalui kegiatan edukasi yang diikuti oleh 35 kepala keluarga dengan tingkat partisipasi aktif 63%, masyarakat memperoleh pemahaman baru mengenai hak pendidikan, pentingnya pendidikan menengah dan tinggi, serta peluang beasiswa yang dapat diakses anak-anak mereka. Dampaknya, kegiatan ini berhasil membangun kesadaran awal masyarakat terhadap nilai strategis pendidikan, sekaligus mengidentifikasi kebutuhan prioritas berupa sekolah filial, transportasi pendidikan, dan dukungan multi-stakeholder yang berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, pemberdayaan pendidikan berbasis partisipasi terbukti menjadi langkah awal yang efektif dalam mendorong transformasi sosial di komunitas adat terpencil.

Abstract

Gosong Panjang Village has outstanding potential to become a tourism village that prioritizes coastal landscapes, small islands, and local traditions. However, this development still faces institutional challenges, limited access, and a lack of basic infrastructure. The purpose of this community service program is to evaluate the cultural and natural attributes of the landscape, assess its suitability for tourism, and develop a spatial planning-based institutional strengthening plan. The method used is a field survey documented through observation, interviews, and the Village Development Plan (RPJMDes). Land suitability analysis uses scoring for seven tourism activities. The results show that the land suitability ranges from moderate to good, with beach recreation receiving the highest score. The Undulating Plain and the Coast are considered to have the best potential for land-based tourism. In the institutional strengthening strategy, funds are allocated through Pokdarwis and RPJMDes to improve road access and provide basic facilities in priority zones to support safe and sustainable village tourism development.

Abstract

The expansion of large-scale oil palm plantations in South Kalimantan has triggered massive transformations in the ecological landscape and the socioeconomic structure of local communities. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of resilience and vulnerability in the livelihoods of the Dayak Bakumpai people, a Dayak sub-ethnic group with a strong historical dependence on river and wetland ecosystems. Using qualitative methods with a case study approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that land conversion into oil palm plantations has eroded the community’s traditional resource base, such as reduced access to forest land and the loss of local biodiversity. These conditions create new vulnerabilities, particularly for households lacking the capital to adapt to the market economy. However, on the other hand, forms of resilience were identified, including ecological resilience and adaptive land management, economic resilience and food sovereignty, socio-cultural resilience (social capital), as well as institutional resilience and litigation.  This study concludes that although the Dayak Bakumpai community demonstrates a certain degree of resilience, the ongoing pressure of monoculture expansion without strong protection of customary rights risks triggering deeper structural marginalization in the future.

Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 requires education systems to integrate digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI), positioning teachers as key actors in adaptive and innovative learning. This study aims to describe the performance and competencies of senior high school and vocational school teachers in South Kalimantan Province. A descriptive quantitative design was employed involving 279 teachers and 2,280 students from 30 purposively selected schools representing diverse geographical areas. The main variables measured include teachers’ competence in (1) planning learning (formulating objectives, developing teaching materials, selecting methods and media), (2) implementing learning, (3) evaluating learning outcomes, and (4) utilizing ICT-based learning media. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, observations, and documentation, and analyzed through descriptive statistics (percentage, frequency distribution, mean, median, and mode). The findings show that teacher competence is generally in the “adequate” category. Specifically, 39.4% of teachers are categorized as adequate in formulating learning objectives, 38.4% in selecting learning methods and strategies, and 41.2% in aligning methods with students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. These results indicate that although teachers have met basic competency standards, their ability to integrate digital technology into pedagogy remains suboptimal. Therefore, systematic and continuous efforts such as applied ICT-based training, mentoring, and strategic collaboration with universities and industry are essential to strengthen teachers’ pedagogical and technological competencies in supporting sustainable educational transformation.
