Abstract

Islamic Worldview has an important role in the development of natural science. Science textbooks in Indonesia are often based on Western science paradigms that contradict the Islamic Worldview. This study aims to design an Islamic Worldview-based Basic Natural Science textbook. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach involving needs analysis, designing, and developing textbooks. The results of the study found several important points. First, the emphasis on understanding the creation of the universe by Allah S.W.T. Second, the integration of moral and ethical values in the context of science. Third, the introduction of the contribution of Muslim scientists in the history of science. Fourth, the Islamic Worldview perspective in explaining natural phenomena. Fifth, linking science and Islamic faith. Sixth, emphasizing the search for truth through science channels in the Islamic Worldview. Seventh, correcting science concepts that are not in accordance with the Islamic Worldview. This research contributes to the development of science teaching materials that are more in line with Islamic values, so as to improve students' understanding of natural science and strengthen their Islamic identity. Abstrak Worldview Islam memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan alam. Buku-buku pelajaran sains di Indonesia sering didasarkan pada paradigma sains Barat yang bertentangan dengan pandangan dunia Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang buku ajar Ilmu Alamiah Dasar berbasis Worldview Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) yang melibatkan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, dan pengembangan buku ajar. Hasil penelitian menemukan beberapa poin penting. Pertama, penekanan pada pemahaman penciptaan alam semesta oleh Allah S.W.T. Kedua, integrasi nilai-nilai moral dan etika dalam konteks sains. Ketiga, pengenalan kontribusi ilmuwan muslim dalam sejarah sains. Keempat, perspektif Worldview Islam dalam menjelaskan fenomena alam. Kelima, mengaitkan antara sains dan akidah Islam. Keenam, penekanan pada pencarian kebenaran melalui saluran ilmu dalam Worldview Islam. Ketujuh, mengoreksi konsep sains yang tidak sesuai dengan Worldview Islam. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan bahan ajar sains yang lebih sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap ilmu pengetahuan alam dan memperkuat identitas keislaman mereka.

Abstract

This article aims to provide motivation, especially for children in learning the Qur'an through audio-visuals, so that children remain enthusiastic about learning the Qur'an during the Covid-19 pandemic. During the Covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities in face-to-face meetings are very limited, especially in learning the Qur'an, the lack of student understanding of the Qur'an is very influential. So, the activities of studying the Qur'an are not optimal and boring. In this study using a qualitative method, which has natural characteristics (natural setting) as a source of direct and descriptive data. Researchers in this case apply several techniques, namely Interview and Observation. The results showed that through audio-visual media in learning so that there was motivation given to children in understanding the learning of the Qur'an which was able to increase the enthusiasm of children in learning the Qur'an. With audio-visual media in learning is present as an answer that can increase effective learning motivation so that in the heart of every child always grows a love for the Qur'an.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in the Fiqh subject at MTs Negeri Kota Bogor, particularly in the topic of halal and haram food and beverages, highlight the need to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to enhance students’ learning outcomes and active participation through the application of the Mind Mapping method. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in two cycles involving 32 students of class VIII-B and one Fiqh subject teacher. Data were collected through observation sheets and achievement tests. The findings revealed a significant increase in student performance. In the pre-cycle stage, only 12.5% of students achieved the minimum passing grade. After implementing the Mind Mapping method, this figure rose to 68.75% in the first cycle and 96.8% in the second cycle. The average score also increased from 63 to 89. The results conclude that the Mind Mapping method is effective in improving students’ understanding and learning outcomes, as well as promoting greater engagement in Fiqh learning. Abstrak Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MTs Negeri Kota Bogor, khususnya pada materi makanan dan minuman halal dan haram, menjadi perhatian penting dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan partisipasi aktif siswa melalui penerapan metode Mind Mapping. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 32 siswa kelas VIII-B dan satu orang guru mata pelajaran Fikih. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada capaian belajar siswa. Pada pra-siklus, hanya 12,5% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan. Setelah penerapan metode Mind Mapping, ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 68,75% pada siklus I dan mencapai 96,8% pada siklus II. Rata-rata nilai siswa juga meningkat dari 63 menjadi 89. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode Mind Mapping terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif mereka dalam proses pembelajaran Fikih.

Abstract

Sirah nabawiyah learning that uses the lecture method usually feels monotonous and boring and results in low student interest in learning so that it can affect student understanding of the material presented. Therefore, innovative and interesting learning methods are needed. One of the interesting methods that can be applied in learning sirah is by visiting historical places. This study aims to explore the concept of learning sirah nabawiyah that is usually done at the Annor Bakti Foundation Tahfiz Institute, then the application of the learning method at the Annor Bakti Foundation Tahfiz Institute along with the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving interviews and observations of teachers and students. The results showed that the learning of Sirah Prophetawiyah that is usually done in the classroom at this institution is still theoretical and teacher-centred, with the use of the lecture method. However, the application of visits to historical places such as the Prophet's Mosque, Jabal Uhud, and Quba Mosque provides a more vivid learning experience so that students can better appreciate the sirah nabawiyah, then can increase the confidence of students' knowledge, and can increase students' interest and understanding. Abstrak Pembelajaran sirah nabawiyah yang menggunakan metode ceramah biasanya terasa monoton dan membosankan serta mengakibatkan rendahnya minat belajar siswa sehingga dapat mempengaruhi pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Maka, diperlukannya metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menarik. Salah satu metode menarik yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sirah adalah dengan mengunjungi tempat bersejarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep pembelajaran sirah nabawiyah yang biasa dilakukan di Lembaga Tahfiz Yayasan Annor Bakti, lalu penerapan metode pembelajaran tersebut di Lembaga Tahfiz Yayasan Annor Bakti berikut dengan faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara dan observasi terhadap pengajar dan santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sirah nabawiyah yang biasanya dilakukan di dalam kelas di lembaga ini masih bersifat teoritis dan berpusat pada guru, dengan penggunaan metode ceramah. Namun, penerapan kunjungan ke tempat bersejarah seperti Masjid Nabawi, Jabal Uhud, dan Masjid Quba memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih hidup sehingga santri dapat lebih menghayati sirah nabawiyah, lalu dapat meningkatkan keyakinan pengetahuan santri, dan dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman santri.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly influenced the lives of young people, particularly Generation Z. Social media, as part of the digital lifestyle, brings both positive and negative impacts on the character formation of students. This study aims to explain the strategies implemented by Islamic Education teachers in instilling the values of faith (aqidah), morality (akhlaq), and proper etiquette (adab) among Generation Z students at MTs Al-Ahsan Bogor. The background of this research lies in the increasing negative influence of social media, which potentially threatens the character and spirituality of adolescents. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that Islamic Education teachers at MTs Al-Ahsan apply the strategy of internalizing faith values through role modeling in attitude and behavior, as well as habituation of adab through practical implementation within the school environment. Furthermore, parental involvement and collaboration with the school play a significant role in supporting students’ character development. The consistent and gradual integration of Islamic values has shaped students’ personalities to become morally upright, strong in faith, and ethically responsible in using social media. These findings demonstrate that character education based on Islamic values is both relevant and effective in protecting the younger generation from the harmful effects of the digital world.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the phenomenon of low student awareness in applying morals and learning manners, where understanding of Islamic religious education is often only limited to the cognitive aspect. Therefore, a special strategy is needed from Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers to foster awareness and form civilized learning behavior. This study aims to analyze the strategies of PAI teachers in improving the learning manners of grade XI students at MAN 2 Bogor City. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that PAI teachers implemented various strategies, including instilling Islamic moral values, habituation of manners, strengthening exemplary behavior, and integration of manners in the learning process. The strategy proved to be able to increase students' awareness in respecting teachers, parents, and peers, as well as forming a way of getting along in accordance with Islamic values. Thus, PAI teachers' strategies play an important role in creating a more conducive learning atmosphere, shaping students' noble character, and helping them internalize adab values in their daily lives. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena rendahnya kesadaran siswa dalam menerapkan akhlak dan adab belajar, di mana pemahaman terhadap pendidikan agama Islam seringkali hanya sebatas aspek kognitif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi khusus dari guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran dan membentuk perilaku belajar yang beradab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru PAI dalam meningkatkan adab belajar siswa kelas XI di MAN 2 Kota Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI menerapkan berbagai strategi, antara lain penanaman nilai akhlak Islami, pembiasaan sikap sopan santun, penguatan keteladanan, serta integrasi adab dalam proses pembelajaran. Strategi tersebut terbukti mampu meningkatkan kesadaran siswa dalam menghormati guru, orang tua, dan teman sebaya, serta membentuk tata cara bergaul yang sesuai dengan nilai Islami. Dengan demikian, strategi guru PAI memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih kondusif, membentuk karakter siswa yang berakhlak mulia, dan membantu mereka menginternalisasi nilai-nilai adab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
