Abstract

Human resources (HR) referred to as the spearhead to achieve goals in a government, as well as the facilities used in carrying out public services. However, HR and facilities at the Klabinain Aimas Village office not effective so that they have not been able to carry out public services properly. This research aims to determine whether or not the influence of HR and facilities on the quality of public services at the Klabinain Aimas Village Office. The sample in this study amounted to 123 people with the sampling technique using simple random sampling. Hypothesis testing using classical assumption test and simple regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Ver 26 application to determine the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable at the 95% trend level (α = 0.05). The results are there is no positive and significant influence between HR on public services at the Klabinain Aimas Village office. There is no positive and significant effect between facilities and public services at the Klabinain Aimas Village office, and there is a significant effect between HR and facilities if tested simultaneously on public services at the Klabinain Aimas Village office.

Abstract

Mogi Model with particle swarm optimization (PSO) scheme have been applied to the local GPS data of Sinabung Volcano during 2011 to 2012 to receive subsurface parameters as pressure sources in terms of misfit and inversion model parameter. The size of displacement was inverted by PSO. From the inversion concluded that the position pressure source showing shallow magma pockets at a depth between ±1.3 km volume change around +0.95x106 m3 . It indicates the presence of a huge magma supply and continuous into shallow magma chamber up to the surface of Sinabung Volcano.

Abstract

Nanotechnology can be used to produce slow-release fertilizers. Zeolite and crab shells are materials that can be used as fertilizer encapsulation. This study aimed to compare the effects of nano zeolite and crab shells for encapsulation of nitrogen- potassium fertilizers tested on Entisols and Inceptisols soil on the growth and yield of shallots. The research method used a completely randomized design with three factors. The factors were soil type (Entisol and Inceptisol), coating materials (nano-zeolite and nano-crab shell), and NK fertilizer doses (125:50, 250:100, 375:150, and 500:200). The variables observed include initial soil physical and chemical properties, nanoparticle characterization, growth and yield, and agronomic efficiency. Nanoparticles were characterized using SEM and analyzed using ImageJ. The data collected were tested by ANOVA and Tukey. The ball milling method succeeded in producing 91.41% zeolite and 97.50% nano-sized crab shells. Plant height showed that using crab shells as fertilizer encapsulation with a dose of 125:50 gave better results. The yield of crab shells as encapsulation with a dose of 250:100 in inceptisols was better than that in entisols, but the highest agronomic efficiency (EA) was obtained in zeolite treatment as fertilizer encapsulation with a dose of 125:50.

Abstract

Community service has been carried out in Margahayu Village, Bekasi City, which was attended by PPK mothers in RT 003/ RW 12 and guided directly by KKN students from the Faculty of Engineering, Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Raya accompanied by Field Supervisors. This community service activity aims to improve the ability of mothers to innovate and improve the economy of residents by becoming entrepreneurs selling their own products. The community service was carried out for one full day, starting with socialization about knitting, knitting practice, training in selling knitted products through e-commerce and evaluation of activities. This community service succeeded in improving the ability and understanding of participants about knitting and increasing enthusiasm in innovating more to create works that have economic value.

Abstract

Gunung Sinabung mulai erupsi pada tahun 2010 hingga saat ini (2021), berdasarkan hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan analisis terkait Gunung Sinabung guna memprediksi posisi dan perubahan sumber tekanan dari Gunung Sinabung. Untuk mengetahui kondisi bawah permukaan dari Gunung Sinabung maka dilakukan inversi dari data diatas pernukaan yang dimiliki salah satunya yaitu data GPS (Global Positioning System), yang kemudian dat tren perubahan posisi dari GPS diinversi dengan metode Very Fast Simulated Annelaing (VFSA). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data pada tahun 2015 hingga 2016 dikarenakan pada tahun tersebut terjadi erupsi yang kontinyu sehingga perubahan data terlihat dengan jelas. Dari hasil inversi diketahui bahwa sumber tekanan pada Gunung Sinabung terletak pada kedalaman dangkal yaitu 0,5km hingga 1,5km dibawah permukaan laut dibawah Gunung Sinabung, dan diketahui juga adanya perubahan sumber tekanan yang fluktuatif yaitu adanya kenaikan dan penurunan perubahan sumber tekanan yang berasosiasi dengan adanya inflasi dan deflasi pada tubuh Gunung Sinabung

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the ability of teachers at SDI Sekolah Embriyo Inspirator in developing teaching materials using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The background of this program is based on the importance of teaching materials as strategic tools to improve the quality of education. However, many teachers face challenges in creating teaching materials due to limited skills and knowledge. By leveraging advancements in AI, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Bing Image Creator, Quillbot, and Mendeley, this activity was designed to provide practical and innovative solutions. Through a situational analysis, it was identified that SDI Sekolah Embriyo Inspirator, located in Tambun Selatan, has significant potential for educational development but requires capacity building for teachers to utilize technology effectively. The program was carried out in several stages, including preparation and socialization, training on AI-based teaching material development, hands-on practice in creating teaching materials, and evaluation and reporting. The activity, conducted on May 17, 2024, demonstrated high enthusiasm among teachers, who successfully applied various AI tools in their teaching material development practices. Additional discussions enriched participants’ knowledge of learning strategies. As a follow-up, continued collaboration is proposed for advanced training and the development of digital learning media. This program successfully provided a tangible impact in enhancing teachers' competencies and supporting the achievement of better educational quality in the digital era.

Abstract

Gunung Sinbung semenjak tahun 1600 hingga tahun 2010 tidak pernah mengalami erupsi, namun semenjak 27 Agustus 2010 hingga saat ini (2025) gunung sinabung terus mengalami erupsi hampir setiap hari. Hal tersebut menjadikan pertanyaan apa yang terjadi pada awal periode erusi gunung tersebut. Dinamika sumber tekanan Gunung Sinabung pada awal periode erupsi telah dianalisis dengan pendekatan skema inversi yang bertujuan untuk memahami mekanisme internal yang memicu aktivitas vulkanik. Dari data GPS menunjukan beberapa kelurusan data deformasi dan diperoleh 5 periode pada awal erupsi pada tahun 2011-2012. Dari hasil inversi mengunakan model Mogi dengan skema very fast simulated annealing (VFSA) diperoleh adanya kantong magma dalam pada kedalaman 17km dan kantong magma dangkal pada kedalaman 0,5km. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya pergeseran sumber tekanan yang signifikan dari kedalaman menengah menuju permukaan  seiring dengan meningkatnya aktivitas erupsi yang terjadi.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di MTsN 8 Majalengka melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan media pembelajaran digital berbantuan virtual laboratory berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Media pembelajaran berbasis STEM diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi guru dalam mengintegrasikan konsep-konsep sains, teknologi, teknik, dan matematika secara menyeluruh, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi kepada guru dalam menggunakan dan membuat virtual laboratoty dalam bidang IPA, Matematika, dan Bahasa Inggris. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa para guru memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang penerapan media pembelajaran digital dan mampu memanfaatkan virtual laboratory secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, para guru juga mampu membuat virtual laboratory dalam bidang IPA, Matematika, dan Bahasa Inggris dengan baik. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat menjadi model pengembangan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan bermakna.
