Abstract

The ceramic industry plays a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, particularly in supporting the continuously growing property and infrastructure sectors. However, the significant contribution of this industry is not without environmental issues, especially concerning carbon emissions from the firing process, production waste, and high natural resource consumption. As stakeholder pressure and global demands for sustainable business practices increase, companies are required to adopt strategies that not only enhance operational efficiency but also minimize negative environmental impacts. Therefore, the implementation of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) becomes essential in reducing environmental harm and improving operational efficiency. This study aims to analyze the influence of GSCM on environmental and economic performance in the ceramic industry, using PT. Mulia Keramik Indahraya as a case study. The research employs a quantitative approach with an associative-causal method. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 72 employees and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that Stakeholder Pressure has a significant effect on Green Supply Chain Management (p-value 0.000 < 0.05), demonstrating that stakeholder pressure drives GSCM implementation. Green Supply Chain Management also significantly influences Economic Performance (p-value 0.000 < 0.05), meaning that GSCM adoption enhances the company's economic performance. However, the effect of Green Supply Chain Management on Environmental Performance is not significant (p-value 0.064 > 0.05), suggesting that GSCM implementation has not yet had a measurable impact on environmental performance. Meanwhile, Environmental Performance significantly affects Economic Performance (p-value 0.001 < 0.05), indicating that improved environmental performance also boosts the company's economic performance.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate public satisfaction with BPOM services in Pangkal Pinang by applying the SERVQUAL method to identify the gap between expectations and perceptions, and to determine the influential service quality dimensions, both partially and simultaneously. The analysis involved five SERVQUAL dimensions—Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy—plus an additional Anti-Corruption dimension. Using a quantitative approach and survey of 104 respondents, data were analyzed through multiple regression, t-tests, and F-tests. The findings revealed that Tangibles, Reliability, and Responsiveness had significant partial effects on public satisfaction, while Assurance and Empathy were not statistically significant. Simultaneously, all dimensions significantly influenced satisfaction, and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score of 94.00 indicated a high level of satisfaction. SWOT analysis was used to formulate strategies, with the SO (Strengths–Opportunities) strategy emerging as the most appropriate—highlighting the need to leverage internal strengths, such as digital innovation and qualified human resources, to seize external opportunities. The study concludes that while BPOM’s service quality is generally rated highly, improvements are needed in empathy and assurance aspects. Therefore, it is recommended to enhance service digitization, strengthen employee competencies and ethics, improve public communication, and expand inclusive, participatory service models.

Abstract

Flooding is a recurring hydrometeorological disaster that has a significant impact on Jabodetabek, including the sustainability of the automotive industry as one of the country’s strategic sectors. This study aims to map the historical flood intensity and analyze its implications for automotive supply chain facilities. Sentinel-1 imagery was applied to detect inundation, complemented by permanent water body and built-up area masking from Sentinel-2, as well as the integration of spatial data on road networks and automotive facilities. The results indicate that more than 53% of the affected area experienced recurrent flooding (>25 times), with Bogor City, Bekasi Regency, and Tangerang Regency being the most extensively inundated regions. A total of 61% of automotive facilities were exposed to flooding, and 47% of the road network in Jabodetabek was inundated at least once over the past five years. These findings highlight systemic vulnerabilities that threaten the continuity of the Just-in-Time supply chain, marked by potential production delays, increased logistics costs, and reduced efficiency. This study recommends integrating spatial risk analysis into facility planning, strengthening infrastructure, providing alternative distribution routes, and leveraging GIS-based digital technologies to enhance visibility and resilience of the automotive supply chain in Jabodetabek.

Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate the implementation of gate-based quality control in the engine maintenance process to improve turnaround time (TAT) efficiency in the maintenance process. TAT is a key indicator for assessing operational efficiency in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry and affects customer satisfaction levels. Based on the operational data of PT. GMF AeroAsia for the period 2022-2024, TAT often does not meet the targets set in the service level agreement (SLA). One of the causes is the delay that occurs at gate 4-5 in the gate system. The research conducted used Six Sigma DMAIC to evaluate and identify the root causes of issues occurring in the maintenance process, as well as to examine the influence of factors such as working capital, external vendor causes, and material procurement related to the delays at gate 4-5. The method used in this research employs both quantitative and qualitative approaches by collecting data through historical data, observations, and interviews. The research results indicate that the implementation of Six Sigma DMAIC at gates 4-5 is not yet optimal, with delays predominantly caused by working capital and external vendor issues. This study found a strong correlation between the frequency of delays and the duration of delays with the total TAT. These findings suggest that the integration of Six Sigma DMAIC, supported by Critical Chain Project Management and Reliability Centered Maintenance, could be a solution to improve the efficiency occurring in the gate 4-5, thereby directly enhancing the TAT efficiency.
