Abstract

One promising business opportunity is the futsal field business, in line with the increasing popularity of this sport in Indonesia. However, before deciding to open a futsal field business, it is important to analyze the financial feasibility of the business first. Financial feasibility analysis is the process of assessing and evaluating the financial aspects of an investment or business plan to determine whether the investment is feasible or not from a financial perspective. This analysis is very important for evaluating the financial prospects of a business plan before deciding to implement it. Analysis of the feasibility of the planet futsal field business from a financial aspect shows that this business is feasible to run by meeting the criteria of the various assessment methods used. The results of the Net Present Value (NPV) analysis are positive at IDR 38,812,042, the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 7% which is greater than the required rate of return, the Payback Period is 9 months, and the multi-product Break Even Point (BEP) is shows the minimum number of rental hours that must be met per operational hour so that the business does not experience losses.

Abstract

Independent waste management in Batam City through empowering neighbourhood is a strategic solution to overcome the challenge of increasing waste volume, with a comprehensive approach that includes outreach, technical implementation and multi-party collaboration. This program aims to transform society's paradigm towards waste, from mere waste to a valuable resource, while encouraging active participation by citizens in creating a clean and productive environment. To increase community awareness and capacity at the neighbourhood level in Batam City in managing waste independently, effectively and sustainably, so as to create a clean and productive environment through a community empowerment approach. This activity was in partnership with selected neighbourhood, involving a total of 20 participants consisting of neighbourhood administrators and resident representatives. Implementation methods include introductory seminars, practical workshops, environmental cadre training, and implementation of pilot projects in selected neighbourhood, with data collection through pre-post surveys, field observations, and in-depth interviews with key participants. Program evaluation is carried out through analysis of changes in waste volume, level of citizen participation, and the economic impact of independent waste management activities. Community service activities focus on socializing independent waste management through empowering neighbourhood in Batam City, involving situation analysis, material development, environmental cadre training, and implementation in selected neighbourhood. This program succeeded in increasing awareness and participation of citizens in waste management, with concrete results in the form of reducing the volume of waste going to TPS by 50% in six months, increasing citizens' understanding by 80%, and creating additional income from the sale of compost and recycled products. The socialization program for independent waste management based on neighbourhood empowerment in Batam City has shown significant success in increasing public awareness, reducing waste volume and creating economic value, so it has the potential to be replicated in other areas.

Abstract

The Riau Islands region is one of the archipelago areas in Indonesia where most of the people depend on marine products, one of which is shellfish, which have various colors and beauty. In various regions, people have Using seashells to improve the quality of life. Shells can be used as building materials, collections, clothing, furniture decoration, and as souvenirs, both for functional purposes and interior decoration. The use of goods that are not economical but can produce high economic value is currently attracting the attention of craft market players. If made into crafts or souvenirs, seashells, which are a product of marine waste, can be very valuable. Various types of crafts are developing in today's society, one of which is crafts that use resin as the main material. The manufacturing process with this composite material can be carried out easily by all groups. This composite manufacturing training was given to the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) group in the Cipta Garden housing complex which is approximately 10 km from the ITEBA campus. This group actively gathers every month, but no productive activities are carried out. In principle, this activity provides knowledge and skills for this PKK group to be productive by producing various types of crafts with high selling value. So it is hoped that later it can become an idea for entrepreneurship

Abstract

Batam City offers attractive investment opportunities with optimistic economic growth projections of up to 7.08% in 2024, driven by key sectors such as industry, construction, trade and tourism, supported by infrastructure and government pro-business policies. Changes in people's lifestyles, including the demand for culinary variety, have created opportunities for fast food businesses, especially the popular fried chicken. Culinary tourism in SP Batam attracts tourists. Financial analysis shows that investment in the Ayam Geprek Sambal Lesung Paradisa MSME is feasible and profitable, with an internal rate of return of 9.5%, a 7 month Payback Period, and a multi-product Break Even Point, indicating an attractive business opportunity for entrepreneurs

Abstract

Education is very important for the progress of the country, education cannot be separated from an assessment. Assessment must be based on the existing rubric to be clear, structured, and transparent. One of the existing assessments is based on analytic, holistic, and perceptual scales. The purpose of this study was to establish an assessment rubric in the algebra course because the course was only seen from a quantitative assessment, but in this study, it was assessed based on attitude, and character and then made criteria based on independent assignments and structured assignments and the results would later be tested differently by using the sample t-test. test, namely the independent sample t-test, the results of the data are not normally distributed, it is better to use the Wilxoson test and sign t-test. The result is that there is no difference between independent tasks and structured tasks seen from the significant table and the t-test table. Pendidikan sangatlah penting bagi kemajuan negara, pendidikan tidaklah lepas dari suatu penilaian. Penilaian haruslah berdasarkan rubrik yang ada agar jelas, tertruktur dan transparan. Salah satu penilaian yang ada berdasarkan analitik, holistik dan skala persepsi. Tujuan penelitian ini, menetapkan rubrik penilaian dalam matakuliah aljabar karena matakuliah tersebut hanya dilihat dari penilaian kuantitatif saja, namun dalam penelitian ini dinilai berdasarkan sikap, karakternya juga kemudian membuat kriteria berdasarkan tugas mandiri maupun tugas terstruktur dan hasilnya nanti akan diuji beda dengan menggunakan uji sampel t test yaitu independent sample t test, hasilya data tidak terdistribusi normal sebaiknya menggunakan uji wilxoson dan sign t-test. Hasilnya tidak ada perbedaan antara tugas mandiri maupun tugas terstruktur dilihat dari tabel signifikan maupun tabel t test nya.

Abstract

The condition of a company is very dependent on the quality of its human resources. Increasing the company's competitiveness must begin with improviment the quality of existing human resources first. To improve the quality of human resources can be done by increasing work motivation, work discipline and skills training. Before improving the quality of the people, there must first be a performance measurement system to be able to see the existing performance conditions. Performance measurement research conducted at PT. Ganda Nusantara Persada was conducted by applying the Human Resource Scorecard research method. In the Human Resource Scorecard method, research is carried out by processing data that considers the financial perspectif, customer perspectif, internal business process perspectif and growth and learning perspectif. From the output from this research conducted at PT. Ganda Nusantara Persada shows that from the four perspectives, the company's condition is good. However, when viewed from the comparison of the Idel value and the Belief value, there are still significant differences in several indicators, it is necessary to evaluate the existing performance quality.

Abstract

Forecasting is a method of predicting the future based on a systematic analysis of past and current facts for a certain period of time. To minimize the excess and shortage of production, as well as shortage of raw materials, forecasting is needed. There are a variety of forecasting methods available, each with varying degrees of accuracy and error. The lowest MAD, MSE, and MAPE error values produce the best forecasting results. The goal of this study is to find the best forecasting approach for CV. Barokah Utama. Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, Holt Exponential Smoothing, Linear Regression, and Trend Projection are the methods used. Based on the MAD, MSE, and MAD values, the Moving Average method with a value of n = 3 was found to be the most suitable method with the lowest error value.

Abstract

The rapid population growth will be directly proportional to the need for clean water, so that sooner or later various problems will arise in fulfilling the need for clean water. Marina Plantation, which is located in the city of Batam, is an area where the majority of the population work as gardeners and breeders. The increase in population and the expansion of the plantation area have resulted in a decrease in the burden on the clean water network. In this study the method used is a quantitative method using the Darcy Weisbach calculation formula with the help of Excel software to simplify calculations. Based on the head loss calculation. The technical specifications of the existing pumps are designed only to pump water with a capacity of 4 m3/h with a head of 12 m. To ensure that the existing pumps are no longer able to meet the current water demand. it is necessary to design a pump with a capacity of 10,314 m3/h +30% with a head of 19 m, and further analysis is needed, for example calculating the required pump driving force and the NPSH available in the installation.

Abstract

In the face of increasingly rapid market developments, every company must be able to compete globally. This is a challenge for every company, to be able to compete in providing the best for its consumers. In order to produce products that are in accordance with the wishes of consumers and can increase the competitiveness of companies, it is necessary to pay attention to how to procure products and select the right suppliers. Toko Sembako Gabe is one of the SMEs that does not yet have the right supplier to become a rice supplier. This research aims to assist business owners in determining the right rice supplier at Gabe Grocery Stores. This research uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The criteria used in this study are quality, price, delivery, flexible and fast response. Based on the criteria and sub-criteria in supplier selection, supplier 1 is the first priority with a weight of 1.080, supplier 3 is the second choice with a weight of 0.695 and supplier 2 is the last choice with a weight of 0.288. Based on the results of this study, the best supplier to be chosen by Toko Sembako Gabe is supplier 1 (Grosir Tiga Brother)

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze differences in consumer preferences in determining the quality and attitudes of consumers towards vape attributes in the city of Batam. The research was conducted in Batam Kota sub-district in June 2023. The method in this study uses a survey method with interviews based on a list of questions on a questionnaire. The sample was determined by random sampling method with 168 samples. The analysis used in the research is Chi Square analysis and Fishbein Multi-attribute. Chi Square analysis shows that apart from the comparison between prices below three hundred thousand rupiahs and between three hundred thousand rupiahs to seven hundred and fifty thousand rupiahs there is a difference of 95% confidence level. This means that there are differences in consumer preferences on vape. Multi-attribute Fishbein analysis shows that there are three attributes that get good consideration and two attributes get sufficient consideration in determining the quality of vape. The order of vape attributes from the highest consideration to the lowest consideration in determining vape quality is the availability of spare parts, product design, battery life, brand and price.
