Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the level of income and efficiency of rice farming in the Wargi Saluyu farmer group, Ciparay Village. The rice varieties that are the focus of this research are the Ciherang variety. The method used in this research is the case study method. With the concept of farming and farm acceptance and income. So this research uses income analysis and R / C ratio analysis (Return Ana Cost Ratio), namely the comparison analysis and farm acceptance. The data used in the study were obtained from direct interviews with farmers who are members of the Wargi Saluyu farmer group in Ciparay Village and added with other supporting data that can support from literature and literature studies. The results of this study indicate the Ciherang variety rice farming in Ciparay Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency has a total cost of IDR 17,379,500.00 per hectare and revenue of IDR 34,742,000.00 per hectare which generates an income of IDR 17,362,500.00 per hectare. in one growing season. And the R / C ratio of Ciherang variety rice farming in Ciparay Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency is 1.9, which means that ciherang variety of rice farming in Ciparay Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency is profitable or feasible to be cultivated

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the exchange rate of farmers and the factors that influence it in West Java province in 2008 – 2020. The variables studied were land area, rice productivity, fertilizer cost and seed cost. The research method used is the study of literature by examining secondary data published nationally and regionally from various valid and credible sources derived from the Central Statistics Agency, the Department of food crops and Horticulture of West Java Province, the Ministry of Agriculture and others. The study was conducted in the period between November 2021 and March 2022. Data processing is done using Least Squares analysis with the help of E-Views 9 Software. The results showed that the exchange rate of farmers of food crops in West Java Province in the period from 2008 to 2020 was influenced simultaneously by land area, rice productivity, fertilizer cost and seed cost. But partially, the variable land area does not significantly affect the exchange rate of food crop farmers. Variable rice productivity, fertilizer costs and seed costs partially significantly affect the exchange rate of farmers of food crops in West Java.

Abstract

This This study aims to determine the performance of the instructor (tangibel) and (emphathy) in service to farmers during the pandemic Covid-19 and to determine the level of farmer satisfaction with the performance of the extension during the pandemic worker Covid-19 in Genteng Village, Sukasari District, Sumedang Regency. This research uses a case study method through a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of the IPA analysis show that the performance that is considered by farmers to have the highest interest is the ability of extension workers to use the local language, providing information about 3M policies (using masks, keeping distance, and washing hands), providing assistance to farmer groups, and easy to find or contact. Meanwhile, the performance that is considered by farmers to have the highest level of satisfaction is carrying out assistance to farmer groups, carrying out plotting demonstrations or demonstrations, and the ability of extension workers to use the local language. The results of the CSI analysis on the performance of the instructor were 74.44 percent. This value is in the range between 50 to 75 percent. This figure shows that farmers are satisfied with the performance or role performed by the agricultural extension workers.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted in Sumedang Regency. This study aims to determine the internal and external factors that affect the performance of agricultural extension agents in Sumedang Regency.The method used in this research is the survey method (quantitative) with a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. Sampling was carried out by means of probability simple random sampling and there were 88 agricultural extension workers. The collected data were analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Models) analysis. The results showed that:1). Simultaneously, internal and external factors have an effect on the performance of agricultural extension workers. It can be seen from the structural model (t-values) that internal factors (X1) are 2.45 and external factors (X2) are 2.59 which means X1 and X2 is greater than t-table 1.96.2). Internally, internal factors have no effect on the performance of agricultural instructors, seen from the t-hiting is smaller than t-table (1.01 1.96)3). Varially, external factors have an influence on the performance of agricultural extension workers, seen from the t-count is greater than the t-table (3.37 1.96).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat adopsi Asuransi Usahatani Padi (AUTP) di Kota Sukabumi dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat adopsi Asuransi Usahatani Padi (AUTP) di Kota Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor luas lahan, pendidikan, pendapatan, lama usahatani dan keikutsertaan petani berpengaruh positif atau dapat mempengaruhi tingkat adopsi Asuransi Usahatani Padi (AUTP) di Kota Sukabumi. Faktor luas lahan merupakan yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi tingkat adopsi Asuransi Usaha Tani Padi (AUTP) yaitu sebesar 129 %.Hal ini disebabkan tingkat ketertarikan, pengambil keputusan, status terdaftar, dan tahap konfirmasi petani padi sawah di Kota Sukabumi terhadap program AUTP sangat tinggi, sehingga umur, pendidikan, pendapatan, lama usahatani dan keikutsertaan dalam kelompok tani membuat pengetahuan dan wawasan petani padi sawah semakin terbuka apabila terjadi gagal panen dilahannya sendiri.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the activities of women farmers in the opak agroindustry, their income and their contribution to household income in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District, Sumedang Regency. The research method used is a survey with a census sampling technique consisting of 10 female farmers as samples. The purpose of this study was to determine : 1) the amount of expenses incurred by opak craftsmen in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District, Sumedang Regency, 2) The amount of opak agroindustry income per month in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District, Sumedang Regency, 3) Contribution monthly income of opak agroindustry to family income in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District, Sumedang Regency. The method used in this research is a survey of opak craftsmen women farmers in the area of ​​Cikurubuk Village. Meanwhile, data processing uses cost, revenue, income, and contribution analysis of opak agroindustry. The results of the study show: 1) The average total cost incurred by opak craftsmen in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District on opak agroindustry per one production process is Rp. 813.168.-; 2) The average total income earned by the opak craftsmen in Cikurubuk Village in the opak agro-industry per one production process is Rp. 458532,-; 3) The average income contribution of respondents from the opak agroindustry is 55,34 % (Rp 3.668.256,-).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of variations in taste and packaging on purchasing decisions for Mochi Lantern cakes. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out using direct interview methods from respondents who were in the field using a questionnaire. Attributes observed in this study were flavor variants and types of packaging. The questionnaire proposed was first tested using validity and reliability tests. Descriptive analysis of respondents' characteristics and consumption behavior, preference for Mochi Lantern products such as flavor variants and types of packaging, as well as characteristics of Mochi Lantern products, these are taken into account when consumers make purchasing decisions and are analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that the flavor variant had a positive and significant indirect effect on the purchasing decision of Mochi Lanterns in the city of Sukabumi. Flavor variants indirectly have a positive effect on purchasing decisions through packaging variables, and have a direct positive effect on purchasing decisions on taste diversification. The more and higher the buyer's decision to purchase flavor variants, the greater the packaging variable in purchasing Mochi Lanterns in Sukabumi City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of using an autofeeder on production, as well as to prove empirically the effect of using an autofeeder on income, and to prove the effect of using an autofeeder on production with intervention as a variable. The method used in this study is the Regresion method with a population of 95 vaname shrimp cultivators located in Sukabumi Regency. The results of this study indicate that the use of autofeeder, production and income of vannamei shrimp cultivation in Sukabumi Regency are in the good category, through increased production of autofeeder use which will increase the income that increases from the production of vannamei shrimp farmers in Sukabumi Regency has a positive effect on increasing production and income.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity program is to provide a solution for the people of Cipanileman Village to process breadfruit into several types of processed food so as to produce added value which has an impact on increasing the income of farmer groups. Presentation of material is carried out using lecture, question and answer, discussion, demonstration, assignment, and participatory methods. As a tool to understand the stages of processing, images containing processing stages or two-dimensional media are used, while direct demonstrations are used to improve skills. The material presented consisted of: processing breadfruit into shredded breadfruit, processing breadfruit into cookies, and processing breadfruit into cakes. The enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the counseling was quite high in participating in the training. Counseling on breadfruit processing into floss, cookies, and cakes, can be developed to open new businesses in the field of food processing. Therefore, further, development is needed so that the pioneering business of processing breadfruit into floss, cookies, and cakes can run and develop smoothly. Needs analysis still needs to be improved. In addition to technical training, counseling is also provided relating to understanding Entrepreneurship and Selling Price Calculations, as well as Understanding Cooperatives. The implementation of field coaching (assistance) needs to be carried out in order to increase the effectiveness of the training.

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are international programs that must be supported by other countries, especially developing countries such as Indonesia. The SDGs contain 18 goals and 169 targets that are expected to be achieved by 2030. There are 4 goals that can be directly implemented by women, namely without poverty, without hunger, a healthy and prosperous life, and gender equality. The purpose of this study is to map the extent of the role of the Women's Cooperative as an institution for empowering women in order to achieve a family without poverty, without hunger, in health and prosperity and gender mainstreaming in supporting the achievement of the SDGs by 2030. Women's cooperative (Women’s Co-op) is a group of women who have the same goal. The study was conducted using a descriptive method, with a literature study approach. The results of the study indicate that the empowerment of women's cooperative members that has been carried out by 5 (five) Women's Co-ops, shows progress in entrepreneurship skills, social progress, increased income and the same opportunity. Therefore, to support the SDGs more quickly, it is necessary to develop a model of coaching and training for members of women's cooperatives as well as a model of fostering secondary women's cooperatives for primary women's cooperatives so that poverty, hunger, welfare and gender mainstreaming are evenly distributed throughout Indonesia.
