Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the level of women's empowerment. The method used is survey research with a quantitative verification approach. The research was conducted in Indramayu Regency, using the Multiple Stage Sampling technique. Five (5) sub-districts were taken from 31 sub-districts, and 20 respondents were randomly selected from each sub-district so that the total number was 100 women respondents. Individual characteristics, competence, and availability of information are exogenous variables while the endogenous variable is the level of women's power. Analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with calculations assisted by Smart PLS 4 software. The validity test was carried out to see valid indicators based on the loading factor value > 0.5, the reliability test was carried out on the research variables, and the SEM model was obtained in iteration 2. The results showed that individual characteristic variables, competence, and information availability contributed 61% to women's empowerment level. Individual characteristics have a positive effect of 0.77 and are significant on the level of women's empowerment. Women's competence needs to be increased, as well as the availability of information so that women can play an active role and increase their involvement in the economy and development.

Abstract

This research was conducted to (1) determine the performance of garut sheep farming. (2) Knowing the level of efficiency of Garut Sheep breeding farming in the Cibungur area. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The data collection technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results of the research show that Mr. Mamat, one of the activists in Garut sheep cultivation, keeps 15 sheep with 5 males and 10 females. In the sheep breeding business, the initial capital spent on 5 seeds and 1 male as well as medicines and then pens is IDR 57,869,528. The total revenue received from the sale of sheep potatoes was IDR. 47,500,000. The loss obtained by Mr. Mamat was Rp. -10,369,528. - The R/C Ratio result obtained was 0.82, with this value meaning that the Garut sheep breeding business carried out by Mr. Mamat was not suitable as a basic income, because from each one rupiah spent will result in a loss of 0.18 Rupiah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (a) mendeskripsikan keragaan usahatani padi di Kecamatan Ujungjaya, (2) membandingkan biaya produksi dan (3) membandingkan pendapatan antara petani yang menggunakan dan tidak menggunakan combine harvester. Penetapan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara purposive di Desa Sukamulya dan Desa Kudangwangi Kecamatan Ujungjaya. Jumlah responden sebanyak 30 orang yang menggunakan combine harvester dan 30 orang yang tidak menggunakan combine harvester. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis usahatani, uji beda rata-rata dan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petani padi di Kecamatan Ujungjaya awalnya menganggap bahwa combine harvester sebagai alsintan yang tidak diperlukan, namun pada akhirnya dibutuhkan saat panen raya yang mengakibatkan kekurangan tenaga kerja sehingga banyak tanaman padi yang terendam banjir. Rata-rata biaya produksi petani yang menggunakan combine harvester Rp. 9.733.442/MT/Ha, sedangkan yang tidak menggunakan Rp. 2.380.083/MT/Ha. perbedaan tersebut dikarenakan perbedaan luas lahan yang dimiliki oleh petani yang tidak menggunakan cenderung memiliki lahan yang sempit. Rata-rata besarnya pendapatan yang diterima oleh petani yang menggunakan combine harvester Rp. 6.377.558/MT/Ha, sedangkan yang tidak menggunakan Rp. 2.090.887/MT/Ha. Berdasarkan uji-t biaya produksi dan petani disimpulkan t-hitung > t-tabel. sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang nyata terhadap biaya produksi dan pendapatan antara petani yang menggunakan dan tidak menggunakan combine harvester.

Abstract

The rice production improvement program is carried out to meet the needs and food security of a country, the results of cultivation and post-harvest innovations are delivered in agricultural counseling to be implemented by farmers in an effort to increase their agricultural yields . One of the results of innovation is how to grow rice with the legowo row 2:1 planting system can be socialized to farmer groups through Field Schools so that farmers can more easily understand and participate in practical demonstrations in the field as part of their experience. The research uses aquantitative approach, and a type of explanatory research type survey research that highlights the causal relationship between research variables and tests the hypotheses formulated. The subject of the study was the Sindang Kerta farmer group, West Java, with a total rice field area planted with rice as much as 2,396 ha by 90 farmers. This study used 2 types of variables, namely free variables and bound variables, each of the variables studied was a free variable 1 (X1) is the institutional or dynamic of farmer groups, the free variable 2 (X2) is a row legowo 2:1rice planting system, and the bound variable is an increase in rice production produced (Y). The data obtained were analyzed using SEM PLS. The results of the description of the farmer group institution show that the average value is >4.01, which means that the farmer group institution is very good, Based on the values of path coefficients or path coefficients, the resulting structural equation is as follows: Y = 0.631 X1 – 0.152 X2 which means that group institutions have a positive effect while the legowo row 2:1 planting system has less influence on the production of rice produced. Abstract

Food security is a global, multidimensional issue with social, economic, political and environmental interests. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of socioeconomic characteristics of farmers on the availability of farm household food in Warudoyong Sub-district, Sukabumi City. This study used descriptive method with quantitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, questionnaires, literature, and documentation. The results showed that the socio-economic characteristics of farmers, which include age, education, area of cultivated land, number of dependents, and farmers' income, together have a significant effect on the food availability of farming families with a contribution of 97.8%, while 2.2% is influenced by other variables outside the study. Farmers' age through education has a significant effect on food availability, but farmers' education through income does not have a significant indirect effect. Similarly, the size of cultivated land through income also has no significant effect on family food availability. The direct effect of these factors is greater than the indirect effect, so the income variable is not a significant mediator in the relationship between education and land area on food availability. The implication of this study is that the increasing age of farmers will further reduce the food availability of farming families.

Abstract

Fluctuations in chili prices often occur due to the uneven availability of chili supply throughout the year, so the price of chili will jump up when the supply is low. The decline in the amount of cayenne pepper crop production in West Bandung Regency is an indicator that there is a decrease on the supply side. This study aims to analyze the effect of total harvested area, production costs, and yields/production of curly red chili on the price of curly red chili at the farm level. This research uses quantitative research methods. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The types of data in this study are secondary data and primary data. The method of determining the sample in this study is a survey method with random sampling techniques selected randomly. The total respondents were 68 farmers, so the number of samples in this study was 35 farmers and consumers. The results showed that simultaneously, there was no significant and simultaneous influence between area, production costs, and yields/production on the price of curly red chili peppers in Parongpong District. While partially independent, the independent variables (area, production costs, and yields/production) have a real effect on the price of curly red chili peppers in Parompong District

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction of yogurt milk products. The unit of analysis is the students of Pacet 1 State Vocational School, Pacet District, Cianjur Regency. Respondent identification technique was carried out by simple random sampling and 115 respondents were identified. The analysis technique used is path analysis. With the results obtained Product Quality Performance which includes dimensions: product aesthetics; Product benefits (yogurt milk); Durability and price suitability reach good criteria in Cianjur City at 81.40%. Diversity of service quality, including dimensions / attributes of direct evidence and reliability; responsive; and Yoghurt Milk Guarantee in Cianjur City reached 79.33% good criterion. Customer satisfaction, which includes the following dimensions: product quality; price factor; The cost factor and the availability of yogurt milk in Cianjur City reached a good criterion of 77.44%. There is a positive relationship between product quality and service quality of yogurt milk as indicated by the correlation coefficient r = 0.937. That is, the better the quality of market products applied, the better the quality level. Product quality and service quality clearly have a positive effect on yogurt milk customer satisfaction. The proportion of the influence of product quality is 48.72%, which is greater than the effect of service quality, which is 31.24%. The remaining 20.04% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis : (1) Dinamika Kelompok Tani (2) Penerapan Teknologi Budidaya (3) Pengaruh Dinamika Kelompok Tani Dan Penerapan Teknologi Budidaya Terhadap Pendapatan Usahatani Ubi Kayu di Kecamatan Cibugel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, dengan sasaran penelitian adalah anggota kelompok tani yang melaksakan usahatani Ubi Kayu di Kecamatan Cibugel pada tahun 2015. Teknik pengambilan data dengan cara wawancara kepada 99 orang responden. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif analitik dan menggunakan metode analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : Pengaruh total Dinamika Kelompok Tani Terhadap Pendapatan Usahatani Ubi Kayu sebesar 58,02 %, Penerapan Teknologi Budidaya berpengaruh positif sehingga pengaruh total Penerapan Teknologi Budidaya Terhadap Pendapatan Usahatani Ubi Kayu sebesar 31,78 % dan Dinamika Kelompok Tani dan Penerapan Teknologi Budidaya secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap Pendapatan Usahatani Ubi Kayu sebesar 58,02 % + 31,78 % = 89,80 %.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the faktors that influence the interest of young farmers in the agricultural profession and their impact on work output and farming productivity. The unit of analysis is the youth farmer in Warungkondang sub-district, Cianjur. The technique of determining the respondents was carried out by sampling using a simple random technique, the sample size using the Slovin formula obtained 60 units. The analysis technique for testing the hypothesis used multiple linear regression analysis and chi square. The results of the study obtained that the interest of young farmers in the agricultural profession in Warungkondang District, Cianjur Regency consisted of dimensions: attention; feeling; satisfaction; hope; and experience obtained achievement level of 48.83% sufficient criterion. Faktors that influence the interest of young farmers in the agricultural profession in Warungkondang District, Cianjur Regency are: Land tenure; Knowledge and insight; Experience ; Farming income; business certainty; Stimulant from the government; and modernization of technology obtained an achievement level of 46.01% sufficient criterion. The interest of young farmers in the agricultural profession is simultaneously influenced by the following faktors: farm income; business certainty; Stimulant from the government; and Technology modernization. Partially the faktors that have no significant effect are: Business certainty. The interest of young farmers in the agricultural profession has an impact on work output. The outpouring of youth farming work that contributed to paddy rice farming activities was 48 HKP out of 105 HKP or 45.98% sufficient kriteria. The interest of young farmers in the agricultural profession has an impact on farming productivity. Farming productivity achievement level of 6.103 ton/ha sufficient kriteria.

Tita Suhartika, 2024. Pengaruh Kualitas Produk dan Preferensi Konsumen terhadap Penjualan Mangga Harumanis. (Survei Konsumen Mangga Harumanis di Kecamatan Tempuran, Kabupaten Karawang, Provinsi Jawa Barat). Di bawah bimbingan Euis Dasipah dan Nataliningsih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kualitas Produk dan Preferensi Konsumen terhadap Penjualan Mangga Harumanis. Unit analisis adalah konsumen di Pasar Kecamatan Tempuran, Kabupaten Karawang. Teknik penentuan responden dilakukan secara purposive sampling yang diperoleh sebanyak 75 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian diperoleh Kinerja Kualitas Produk Mangga Harumanis yang meliputi dimensi: manfaat produk; daya tahan, keandalan, dan kemudahan. di Kecamatan Tempuran, Kabupaten Karawang memperoleh 82,74 kriteria sangat baik. Kinerja Preferensi Konsumen yang meliputi dimensi/atribut: rasa; aroma; tekstur warna; bentuk dan kemasan di Kecamatan Tempuran, Kabupaten Karawang memperoleh 76,00% kriteria baik. Demonstrasi Penjualan Mangga Harumanis yang meliputi dimensi Harga Mangga Harumanis; volume pembelian; Proses transaksi Pembelian; dan Frekuensi Pembelian. di Kecamatan Tempuran Kabupaten Karawang memperoleh kriteria baik sebesar 78,50%. Terdapat korelasi positif antara Kualitas Produk dengan Preferensi Konsumen yang ditunjukkan dengan angka koefisien korelasi r = 0,733. Kualitas Produk dan Preferensi Konsumen berpengaruh nyata terhadap Penjualan Mangga Harumanis. Kontribusi pengaruh Preferensi Konsumen sebesar 54,36% lebih besar dibandingkan kontribusi pengaruh Kualitas Produk sebesar 16,79%. Sisanya sebesar 28,85% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
