Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Paropo Village, Panakukang District, Makassar City, to face the challenges of the digital era. Training and education are focused on two main aspects: digital marketing strategies and business financial management. The implementation method included a participatory approach through interactive training sessions, simulations, group discussions, and direct mentoring. The results demonstrated an increase in participants' understanding and skills in using social media and other digital platforms for product promotion and marketing. Furthermore, participants gained practical knowledge in simple financial record keeping, cash flow management, and short- and long-term financial planning. Evaluation of the activity, conducted through pre- and post-tests, demonstrated significant improvements in participants' knowledge and skills. It is hoped that this activity will have a sustainable impact on the development of participants' businesses and strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs in the region. This activity also opens up opportunities for further collaboration with the local government and related institutions in digital-based MSME development.

Abstract

This study is a class action that aims to improve learning outcomes different from the sum of fractional denominator approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in Class V school students Bustanul Ulum Semen Padang. The approach used is a qualitative and quantitative approach. The data source is a learning process and outcomes of the implementation of the sum of fractions with different denominators using the approach of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Kata Kunci : hasil belajar siswa, penjumlahan pecahan penyebut berbeda, pendekatan contecxtual teaching and learning (ctl)

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi dan mempersiapkan siswa SMA Negeri 3 Luwu dalam rangka menghadapi olimpiade sains nasional (OSN) dalam bidang Kebumian pada tingkat lokal (kabupaten). Manfaat yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 3 Luwu setelah dilakukan kegiatan ini adalah mampu dalam menguasai materi dan mampu dalam mengerjakan soal-soal Olimpiade Kebumian. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pendampingan adalah diskusi, pembahasan soal-soal latihan olimpiade dan tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan pendampingan pada bidang Kebumian telah terdapat perubahan yang sangat signifikan, serta kendala yang dihadapi peserta OSN tingkat kabupaten dari SMA Negeri 3 Luwu adalah kemampuan khususnya di bidang Kebumian dimana bidang ini adalah bidang baru yang harus siswa pelajari kembali dari awal. Selain itu perolehan juara siswa SMAN 3 Luwu pada bidang Kebumian meningkat dari tahun sebelumnya belum pernah sekolah ini mendapatkan juara menjadi pada posisi 3 di tahun 2024 dan meawakili Kabupaten Luwu di tingkat OSP (Olimpiade Sains Propinsi).
