Abstract

Pendidikan kewarganegaraan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk warga negara yang cerdas, perilaku yang baik, serta keterampilan kewarganegaraan. Pada praktiknya, pendidikan kewarganegaraan di negara liberal menimbulkan kontroversi baik dari kalangan masyarakat maupun pemerintah. Tujuan penulisan yaitu untuk mengkaji pendidikan kewarganegaraan di negara liberal. Teknik pengumpulan data bersumber dari artikel jurnal yang ditulis oleh William A. Galston tentang pendidikan kewarganegaraan di negara liberal dan artikel lain untuk memperkuat hasil kajian. Kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan di negara liberal memperoleh tanggapan yang negatif dari masyarakat. Mereka berasumsi dengan adanya pendidikan kewarganegaraan justru dapat mengancam hak-hak asasi individu, melanggar hati nurani dan konsepsi cara hidup yang berbeda antara individu ataupun masyarakat. Penulis sepakat dengan gagasan William A. Galston, untuk menyarankan perlu adanya pendidikan kewarganegaraan diterapkan di negara liberal untuk membangun pengetahuan kewarganegaraan, menanamkan nilai-nilai kebajikan, berpartisipasi aktif dalam ranah publik, tanpa mengurangi hak kebebasan individu

Abstract

This study aims to find out about human rights arrangements, especially for women after the amendments to the 1945 Constitution. This research uses a qualitative approach in the nature of literature study. Researchers also reviewed several books written by experts, journals, articles related to this study. The data analysis process used in this study includes data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that post-amendment human rights are regulated in articles 28A to 28J of the 1945 Constitution. Implementation of human rights arrangements has not been fully implemented in accordance with the legal basis in Indonesia, there are still many violations of human rights, especially women's rights regarding the issue of inequality socio-cultural and violence against women. If this is not taken seriously, it is feared that Indonesia will be threatened as a country that is not committed to implementing the constitution so that there must be strengthening of women's rights and increased awareness of gender equality which is supported by all parties.Keywords: human rights, women, amendments to the 1945 Constitution

Abstract

Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers have a strategic role in strengthening the creativecharacter of students at SMK Islam Al Madina Pecangaan District, Jepara Regency. This study aims todescribe the role of Pancasila and Citizenship Education Teachers in strengthening the creative character ofclass XII students at SMK Islam Al Madina. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptivemethods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showedthat the teacher of SMK Islam Al Madina towards strengthening the creative character of students has a roleas: 1) facilitator, providing opportunities for students to express their ideas and providing learningreferences; 2) motivator, providing encouragement to students to express ideas; 3) manager, using severalmethods such as lectures, group discussions and assignments to students so that students are able to generateideas; 4) guide, guide students to read diligently and be confident in expressing ideas; 5) demonstrator, hasnot been implemented optimally because the teacher does not have varied learning media; 6) evaluator, usesseveral assessments (oral tests, independent assignments, presentations) which are used as a reference forthe level of student understanding; 7) role model, the teacher has not maximized his role as a role modelbecause he shows more discipline character to students. Researchers used six indicators of creativecharacter, namely 1) fluency; 2) flexibility; 3) originality; 4) elaboration; 5) high curiosity; 7) like to try newthings.Keywords: Role of Pancasila and Civic Education Teacher, Strengthening, Creative Character
