Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberdayakan masyarakat melalui pengolahan cabe rawit di Kelurahan Takkalasi, Kecamatan Balusu, Kabupaten Barru pada kegiatan kemitraan UNHAS (PKM- Pengabdian Masyarakat). Pengabdian ini mempunyai tiga program utama. Program pertama adalah pengolahan cabai rawit menjadi berbagai produk turunan seperti, sambal tuna, sambal teri, sambal petai, sambal daging, sambal udang dan sambal cumi. Program kedua adalah pengepakan/packaging. Pada tahap ini, masyarakat dilatih untuk mengembangkan ide, inovasi dan kreatifitas mereka untuk mendesain model packaging atau kemasan yang mempunyai desain menarik, simple, fungsional dan berkualitas. Program ketiga adalah tahap pemasaran/marketing. Pada fase ini, masyarakat dilatih melakukan dua jenis konsep pemasaran/marketing, yaitu 1. Offline marketing, dengan mempromosikan dan menjual produk olahan cabai rawit di pasar secara langsung dan 2. Online marketing, dengan memperkenalkan produk olahan cabai rawit melalui media online, seperti whatsapp, instagram, dan media online lainnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa ibu ibu petani cabai rawit sangat tertarik untuk mengembangkan kegiatan industri pengolahan cabai rawit dengan membentuk kelompok pengolahan cabai untuk meningkatkan pendapatan petani di Kelurahan Takkalasi. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to empower the community through processing of cundlenut in Takkalasi Village, Balusu Sub-Districts, Barru Districts in the PKM UNHAS. This research has three main programs. The first program is processing red chili pepper into various derivative products such as tuna chili sauce, smoked fish chili sauce, petai chili sauce, meat chili sauce, squid chili sauce, shrimp chili sauce. The second program is packaging. At this stage, the community is trained to develop their ideas, innovations and creativity to design packaging models that have attractive, simple, functional and quality designs. The third program is the marketing phase. In this phase, the community is trained to do two types of marketing concepts, examples 1. Offline marketing, by promoting and selling red chili pepper products in the market directly and 2. Online marketing, by introducing products through online media, such as whatsapp, instagram, and media other online. The results of this study show that farmers are really interested in developing red chili pepper processing industry by forming a red chili pepper processing group to increase farmer income in Barru. Abstract

Climate change is a global challenge that requires rapid and adaptive responses from various levels of government, including local governments. In Indonesia, the role of local governments in building climate resilience is increasingly crucial as the impacts of climate change are felt in various regions. However, bureaucratic barriers, resource constraints, and socio-economic dynamics often hinder the effectiveness of climate resilience strategies at the local level. This study aims to explore the role of local governments in building climate resilience through local policies, technological innovation, and community participation. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach, where data was collected from various sources such as research results and relevant previous studies. The collected data were then processed systematically to find findings that support the development of climate resilience strategies. The results of the study show that local governments have an important role in developing policies that are appropriate to local conditions to deal with climate change. Technological innovation and the development of disaster-resistant infrastructure are key to increasing climate resilience at the local level. Active community participation and community empowerment have also proven to be important factors in implementing effective climate resilience strategies. Bureaucratic barriers and resource constraints can be overcome through cross-regional collaboration that allows for the sharing of knowledge and best practices. Thus, climate resilience strategies at the local level must be based on synergy between government, communities, and the private sector to achieve sustainable and effective results.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan petani perempuan kelompok tani "Sipatokkong II" di Desa Takkalasi, Kecamatan Balusu, Kabupaten Barru, melalui pengembangan produk olahan cabai. Program ini menjawab beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi petani, antara lain terbatasnya diversifikasi produk, kurangnya pengemasan dan pelabelan, serta kurangnya manajemen produksi yang baik. Solusi yang diusulkan meliputi pelatihan komprehensif dalam mengolah cabai mentah menjadi produk bernilai tinggi seperti sambal, abon cabai, dan minyak cabai, disertai dengan pembinaan tentang branding,pengemasan, dan peningkatan kualitas produk. Selain itu, program ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat keterampilan berwirausaha di kalangan peserta dengan memberikan pelatihan strategi pemasaran offline dan online. Diharapkan setelah program ini selesai, petani tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan daya jual produknya, tetapi juga memperoleh pendapatan yang lebih tinggi dan kesejahteraan yang lebih baik melalui agribisnis yang berkelanjutan.   Kata kunci: Pemberdayaan masyarakat, pengolahan cabai rawit, wirausaha, diversifikasi produk. ABSTRACT This community service program aims to empower female farmers of the "Sipatokkong II" farmer group in Takkalasi Village, Balusu District, Barru Regency, through the development of processed chili products. This program addresses several challenges faced by farmers, including limited product diversification, inadequate packaging and labeling, and poor production management. The proposed solutions include comprehensive training in processing raw chilies into high-value products such as chili sauce, chili floss, and chili oil, accompanied by coaching on branding, packaging, and improving product quality. Additionally, this program aims to enhance entrepreneurial skills among participants by offering training in both offline and online marketing strategies. It is hoped that upon completion of this program, farmers will not only be able to improve the quality and marketability of their products but also achieve higher incomes and improved welfare through sustainable agribusiness. Abstract

Program kemitraan pengembangan daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) di Kabupaten Barru bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui diversifikasi produk bernilai tambah guna mencegah stunting dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Kabupaten Barru memiliki potensi besar dalam budidaya kelor, namun pemanfaatannya masih terbatas karena rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap teknologi pengolahan, pengemasan, dan pemasaran. Program ini mengidentifikasi tiga permasalahan utama, yaitu proses pengolahan yang masih tradisional, pengemasan tanpa standar industri, dan pemasaran yang terbatas di pasar lokal. Melalui pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat dan transfer teknologi berbasis prinsip "petik, olah, jual", dilakukan pendampingan menyeluruh kepada kelompok tani perempuan di Kelurahan Takkalasi. Produk olahan yang dikembangkan meliputi teh, tepung, nugget, dan mie kelor. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas gizi dan nilai ekonomi produk, tetapi juga menumbuhkan semangat kewirausahaan lokal. Luaran yang ditargetkan meliputi publikasi ilmiah, peningkatan daya saing produk, serta perlindungan kekayaan intelektual atas inovasi hasil pengolahan kelor.   Kata kunci: Moringa oleifera, diversifikasi produk, pemberdayaan masyarakat, pencegahan stunting, kewirausahaan lokal, inovasi pengolahan pangan. ABSTRACT The partnership program for the development of Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) in Barru Regency aims to improve community welfare through the diversification of value-added products to prevent stunting and increase income. Barru Regency has strong potential for cultivating Moringa, yet its utilization remains limited due to the community’s low awareness of processing, packaging, and marketing technologies. This program identifies three main issues: traditional and inefficient processing methods, non-standard packaging, and limited local market reach. Through a community empowerment approach and the application of the “harvest, process, sell” principle, comprehensive mentoring was provided to women farmer groups in Takkalasi Subdistrict. The developed Moringa-based products include tea, powder, nuggets, and noodles. This initiative not only improves the nutritional quality and economic value of Moringa products but also fosters local entrepreneurial spirit. The targeted outcomes include scientific publications, improved product competitiveness, and intellectual property protection for Moringa-based innovations. Abstract

Utilization of bamboo plants as a form of innovation by increasing the utility of bamboo into lanterns. The abundance of bamboo resources is the reason for carrying out community service activities through training activities carried out for approximately one month in Sunggumanai Village, District. Pattallassang, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The training is carried out as an effort to support the fulfillment of the economic needs of the community through the use of abundant natural resources in the village through the use of bamboo plants. The stages of the implementation of this activity began with observation activities and then continued with training on making bamboo lantern products. This product training activity was carried out at the Village Office in collaboration with village institutions (Bumdes) which was attended by village communities who in this activity acted as training participants. From the implementation of this activity, various benefits were obtained, namely an increase in people's income, changes in behavior, increased knowledge and skills, because the slowly made lanterns gain sympathy from consumers and in turn can increase people's income
