Abstract

Background of the study: This research describes medical record management activities in two government hospitals in Indonesia, namely RSUD Tugurejo Semarang and RSUD Kota South Tangerang. This Hospital became history for the Indonesian people during the COVID-19 era and became a referral hospital for COVID-19 patients. Medical records, as written documents regarding the initial history of a patient's illness, can be trusted in the name of law and become archives with legal and historical value. Therefore, it is necessary to look at how the medical records of COVID-19 patients are recorded and utilized. Purpose: Analyze the use of COVID-19 medical records as a source of health information data in hospitals. Method: This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data sources come from observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings: The research results found that medical records at General Hospitals in Indonesia are managed based on life cycle files, following the guidelines issued by the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records. Conclusion: The more organized a hospital's medical record archive is, the more information contained in the medical record will be visible to researchers.

Abstract

In a digital age marked by the popularity of online platforms such as Line Webtoon among Generation Z, the influence of digital comic reading habits on critical reading skills is becoming increasingly relevant. This study aims to determine how much the habit of reading digital comics on the Line Webtoon platform influences vital reading ability in Generation Z. The research method used is quantitative explanative. Data analysis using simple linear regression tests, coefficients of determination, and correlation analysis with the help of SPSS V21 software. Data were collected by using questionnaires to 100 respondents of digital comic readers at Line Webtoon aged 18-24 years with an accidental sampling technique. The results showed a positive relationship between the habit of reading digital comics on Line Webtoon and critical reading skills in Generation Z, with a correlation value of 0.697 along with a significance value of 0.000. The results of R Square show that the habit of reading digital comics on Line Webtoon influences critical reading ability in Generation Z by 0.486 or 48.6%. The magnitude of the influence includes the range of coefficient intervals 0.40 – 0.599 (medium). This shows that the habit of reading digital comics on the Line Webtoon platform has a moderate and significant influence on critical reading skills in Generation Z.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran Program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dalam meningkatkan minat baca peserta didik di MI Tho’amul Athfal, Cihowe, Ciseeng, Kabupaten Bogor. Kegiatan penelitian ini berangkat dari Program Kerja Kelompok Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) 082 UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta tahun 2025. Latar belakang penelitian didasari rendahnya tingkat literasi siswa Indonesia yang tercermin dari survei PIRLS dan PISA, serta minimnya kebiasaan membaca pada anak sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap siswa kelas V–VI serta guru. Hasil menunjukkan minat baca siswa masih rendah akibat keterbatasan bahan bacaan menarik, sarana perpustakaan yang kurang memadai, dan kebiasaan membaca yang belum terbentuk sejak dini. Program pendukung seperti seminar literasi, perpustakaan keliling, dan pojok baca terbukti meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa bila dikemas secara kreatif dan relevan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan GLS melalui penyediaan fasilitas, variasi bacaan, dan keterlibatan guru–orang tua agar budaya membaca berkembang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

PurposeIn Islamic higher education, Ma'had Aly lecturers rarely performed research and publication activities. The study aimed to explore Ma’had Aly lecturers’ in conducting research and publishing scholarly works activities.MethodThis qualitative study used a case study design whose data collection techniques utilized in-depth interviews and a review of relevant articles. The informants comprised four Ma'had Aly lecturers taken purposively.Results/findingsThe findings revealed problems that caused lecturer Ma'had Aly to rarely carry out research and publication activities. In terms of personnel problems, apart from the fact that Ma'had Aly lecturers had not only adequate knowledge regarding research and publications, but they were also burdened with a heavy teaching load and other non-academic activities. Meanwhile, in terms of institutional problems, Ma'had Aly could not create a conducive atmosphere for lecturers to perform research and publication activities.Conclusion Research and publication are important for Ma'had Aly lecturers for their professional development. Therefore, both Ma'had Aly management and the Ministry of Religion should make various efforts to accelerate the research and publication competency improvement of Ma'had Aly lecturers.
