Abstract

This writing emphasizes the importance of character education in schools, especially in addressing the deviations from societal values, norms, and morals in Indonesia. Character education is seen as essential for improving the quality of education, particularly in light of the current issues faced by Indonesian education, most notably deviations from societal values among the younger generation, especially school-age children. The research method employed in this study is a descriptive-qualitative approach based on opinions from experts or previous research. This method involves reading various sources and connecting them to the topic discussed, then presenting them in descriptive form. The findings of this research indicate that one of the efforts to develop an outstanding generation in the modern era is through character education. Character education involves instilling values that encompass the willingness or awareness, and actions in implementing the values of goodness, moral character, and good manners into the students with the aim of shaping a good personality, such as honesty, respecting others, and behaving well in everyday life. Therefore, efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia need to pay serious attention to character education in schools, emphasizing the cultural values of the school and involving all educational components, including the curriculum, subjects, learning processes, and extracurricular activities.Pendidikan karakter perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius para guru di Indonesia terutama dalam meningkatkan mutu Pendidikan, apalagi pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini sedang mengalami permasalahan-permasalahan yang menyimpang dari nilai, norma dan moral dalam masyarakat, yang mana kebanyakan dari pelaku penyimpangan ini terjadi pada generasi muda terutama pada anak usia sekolah. Tulisan ini menyoroti pentingnya pendidikan karakter di lembaga sekolah menekankan nilai-nilai budaya sekolah dan melibatkan semua komponen pendidikan, termasuk kurikulum, mata pelajaran, proses pembelajaran, dan kegiatan ko-kurikuler. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif yang berdasarkan pendapat dari para ahli atau penelitian terdahulu. Metode ini dilakukan dengan membaca berbagai sumber kemudian dihubungkan dengan topik yang dibahas untuk kemudian disampaikan kembali dalam bentuk deskripsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan salah satu upaya membangun generasi unggul di era modern adalah melalui pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter merupakan penanaman nilai yang meliputi kemauan atau kesadaran, dan tindakan dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai kebaikan, budi pekerti, karakter, serta akhlak yang baik ke dalam diri peserta didik yang bertujuan untuk membentuk kepribadian yang baik pada seperti jujur, menghormati orang lain, maupun berperilaku baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Development of Human Resource Quality at SD 46 Banda Aceh. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with school principals and non-participant observation. The results of the study indicate that human resource Development at SD 46 Banda Aceh can be carried out effectively through an inservice training program that is integrated with the specific needs of teachers and staff. schools can improve the quality of education and prepare future generations to face global challenges. Also carried out through four steps (1) needs analysis, (2) compiling a development program, implementing training, evaluating the program and follow-up.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the application of ta’zīr punishment as a reinforcement of education in Islamic law. Humans are mulattoes or social beings who are related to one another, they cannot be separated from interactions with others. In order for this relationship to be in the corridor and frame of justice, Allah sent down rules in the form of orders and prohibitions. This study is a normative legal study using ushul fiqh theory and maslāhah theory. This study concludes that all commands and prohibitions contained in Islamic law are based on the Qur'an and the commands and prohibitions of the Prophet. which is formulated in fiqh, it will be seen that everything has a specific purpose, namely the benefit of mankind. If there is a violation of these rules, a penalty will be imposed, whether the punishment is in the form of ḥadd, qiṣaṣ or ta’zīr punishment. In addition to ḥadd, qiṣaṣ, kaffārah punishments, ta’zīr punishments are seen as punishments/sanctions that contain educational values because they aim to create a deterrent effect on the perpetrators and become a lesson for others not to commit similar violations. Therefore, this study argues that the imposition of punishment in Islamic law including ta’zīr contains beneficial values that educate humans and has a deterrent effect for perpetrators and for others.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the principal manages the integration of character education values in SD Negeri 46 Banda Aceh. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the principal at SD Negeri 46 applies a comprehensive management strategy, involving the entire school community, including teachers, students, and parents, in the character development process. Extracurricular programs and social activities held at the school serve as a means to instill positive values, such as discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. In addition, continuous evaluation of the character education program is carried out to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of the activities implemented. The results of the study in the school show that: the principal's management has been running effectively, this can be seen from the principal's habits in creating a learning environment that supports the development of student character, which produces a superior generation in academic aspects. This study is expected to provide a significant contribution to the development of character education management practices in other elementary schools, while still upholding integrity and strong moral value

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bullying merupakan masalah serius di lingkungan sekolah yang berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan mental dan sosial siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi guru pendidikan agama islam dalam menangani perilaku bullying di SMP Negeri 2 Manggeng. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru PAI dan siswa 4 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI menerapkan strategi penguatan karakter melalui kegiatan keagamaan seperti muhadharah dan kajian rutin. Guru juga melakukan pendekatan langsung kepada pelaku dan korban bullying serta bekerjasama dengan pihak sekolah dan orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman. Strategi lain yang diterapkan meliputi bimbingan moral, pengawasan, motivasi, dan pemberian sanksi kepada pelaku. Pada strategi ini terdapat kendala yang dihadapi rendahnya kesadaran siswa terhadap nilai agama serta kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini sangat menegaskan pentingnya peran guru PAI dalam membentuk karakter dan mencegah perilaku bullying di sekolah.Kata Kunci: Strategi,Guru,Pendidikan Agama Islam, bullying,SiswaABSTRACTBullying is a serious problem in the school environment that has a negative impact on students' mental and social development. This study aims to identify the strategies of Islamic religious education teachers in dealing with bullying behavior at SMP Negeri 2 Manggeng. This study uses a qualitative research approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation of Islamic Religious Education teachers and 4 students. The results of the study indicate that Islamic Religious Education teachers apply character strengthening strategies through religious activities such as muhadharah and routine studies. Teachers also approach perpetrators and victims of bullying directly and work together with the school and parents to create a safe environment. Other strategies implemented include moral guidance, supervision, motivation, and sanctions against perpetrators. In this strategy, there are obstacles faced by students' low awareness of religious values and lack of support from the social environment. This study strongly emphasizes the importance of the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping character and preventing bullying behavior in schools.Keywords:  Strategy, Teacher, Islamic Religious Education, bullying, Students.
