Abstract

Infected health workers can also be a source of infection for patients and other health workers, due to the lack of personal protective equipment. This type of research is using a cross sectional design. The dependent variable of this study is compliance from the use of personal protective equipment, and the independent variables are knowledge and attitude. Knowledge is the result of human sensing to know about an object through its five senses. When using personal protective equipment, it is necessary to have compliance in the form of an attitude to be willing to obey and follow a specification, standard or rule that has been clearly regulated and issued by an authorized organization. The sample consisted of 100 health workers consisting of nurses and midwives, emergency room doctors, room doctors, specialist doctors and isolation room nurses. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire, then the data was analyzed using univariate table frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The conclusion of the research is that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and compliance from the use of personal protective equipment (p=0.020) and there is a significant relationship between attitude and compliance from the use of personal protective equipment (p=0.032).

Abstract

Kebijakan dalam pembangunan kesehatan di Indonesia diharapkan mampu memberikan pemerataan layanan kesehatan, salah satunya dengan meningkatkan status puskesmas menjadi rumah sakit terutama pada daerah dengan angka rujukan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui demand masyarakat dan kesiapan terhadap peningkatan status Puskesmas menjadi Rumah Sakit Tipe D di Kabupaten Bireuen. Metode: pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dilakukan pada 34 informan yang meliputi masyarakat dan tokoh setempat, pihak manajemen puskesmas, dinas kesehatan, komisi kesehatan DPRK dan pihak pemerintah kabupaten Bireuen. Hasil analisis kualitatif memberikan gambaran bahwa tingginya demand masyarakat terhadap peningkatan puskesmas menjadi rumah sakit type D, selain itu pihak puskesmas telah melakukan berbagai persiapan teknis maupun adminstratif. Dinas kesehatan dan pihak pemerintah kabupaten dan badan legiaslasi juga memberikan dukungan kebijakan dan finansial yang mencukupi sehingga diharapkan program tersebut terlaksana secepatnya. Sementara, kendala yang dihadapi saat ini adalah belum adanya upaya yang terintegarsi oleh semua pihak terutama dalam memantau perkembangan dan mendiskuskusikan secara bersama sama. Kesimpulan diperoleh bahwa perlunya membertuk tim percepatan lintas sector untuk dapat berkerja sama secara intens dalam mewujudkan program peningkatan status puskesmas menjadi rumah sakit type D.Kata Kunci: Demand, Kesiapan, Puskesmas, Rumah SakitThe Policies in health development in Indonesia are expected to be able to provide equal distribution of health services, one of policy intervention is by increasing the status of puskesmas (public health center) to hospitals, especially in areas with high referral rates. The purpose of the study was to determine the community's demand and readiness to increase the status of the Puskesmas to a Type D Hospital in Bireuen Regency Methods: a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews conducted with 34 informants including the community and local leaders, the management of the puskesmas, the health office, the DPRK (parliament)  health commission and the Bireuen District Government The results of the qualitative analysis illustrate that there is a high demand from the community for the improvement of the puskesmas into a type D hospital, besides that the puskesmas has made various technical and administrative preparations. The health office and district government and legislative bodies also provide adequate policy and financial support so that the program is expected to be implemented as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the current obstacle is that there are no integrated efforts by all parties, especially in monitoring developments and discussing them together. The conclusion is that it is necessary to form a cross-sectoral acceleration team to be able to work intensely in realizing the program to increase the status of the puskesmas to become a type D hospital.Keywords: Demand, Feasibility, Public Health Center, Hospital

Abstract

Breastfeeding brings joy to new mothers and provides the best start for children. However, this process is always easy, especially for mothers after cesarean delivery (SC). This research explores the factors that influence the release of breast milk (ASI) in post-SC mothers at Sultan Sulaiman Hospital, North Sumatra. In planning a cross-sectional survey, variables such as breastfeeding frequency, breast care, nursing care, diet, and gestational age were evaluated to understand overall breast milk production. The results show that regular breastfeeding frequency and good breast care are associated with smooth breast milk production. However, hospitalisation did not show a significant correlation with breast milk production in mothers after CS.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of outpatient services on BPJS participant satisfaction at DKT Gubeng Pojok Hospital, Surabaya. Conducted using a cross-sectional quantitative method on 95 BPJS participants from January to June 2023. The majority of respondents showed dissatisfaction with services. Analysis of variables such as responsiveness, reliability, assurance, caring, and physical evidence highlights aspects related to patient satisfaction. Logistic regression results show that responsiveness and caring have a significant relationship with patient satisfaction. The study emphasizes the need to increase the response and concern of health workers towards patients to increase BPJS participant satisfaction.

Abstract

Family Planning (KB) policy aims to control population growth by reducing birth rates. However, many women experience difficulty in choosing the appropriate type of contraception. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence women of childbearing age (WUS) in choosing a long-term contraceptive method (MKJP). The design of this research is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sample for this research was 95 WUS mothers who were selected by accidental sampling. Data was collected through primary and secondary data and analyzed using the binary logistic regression test. The research results show that knowledge, attitudes, husband's support, and socio-cultural factors have a significant influence on the selection of MKJP. However, the role of health workers does not have a significant influence. This research concludes that knowledge, attitudes, husband's support, and socio-cultural factors influence the selection of MKJP, while the role of health workers has no influence. It is hoped that these results can serve as a guide for family planning service officers to improve WUS knowledge and attitudes and provide comprehensive contraception.

Abstract

Patient behavior as consumers in utilizing health services, including the decision to seek re-treatment, is influenced by several factors such as the quality of doctor/nurse services, distance, facilities, and speed of service. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence patients' decisions to utilize health services for repeat treatment. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional design, carried out at the Putri Hijau Level II Hospital in Medan. A sample of 247 people was selected using the accidental sampling method from a population of 3,946 people. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate chi-square, and multivariate approaches with multiple logistic regression at a 95% confidence level. The research results show that the quality of doctor/nurse services, distance, facilities, and speed of service have a significant influence on the patient's decision to seek treatment again. Meanwhile, factors such as age, gender, education, and employment do not have a significant effect. The most dominant factor is facilities, where respondents who feel that hospital facilities are good have a higher chance of undergoing repeat treatment. This research concludes that factors such as the quality of doctor/nurse services, distance, facilities, and speed of service have a significant influence on patients' decisions in utilizing health services for re-treatment at Putri Hijau Level II Hospital in Medan. It is recommended that the hospital allocate a budget to improve facilities that are still lacking and improve new service facilities to increase public confidence in seeking treatment again.

Abstract

Nurses are a key factor in improving the quality of services in hospitals because they have a vital role in providing care and support to patients. However, the assessment of nurses' performance showed that the results were not optimal, with achievement only reaching 47%. This can hurt the quality of hospital services. This study aims to identify and analyze factors that influence the performance of inpatient nurses at Bina Kasih Hospital, Medan. The research method used is cross-sectional with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 74 inpatient nurses selected using total sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out through univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis using logistic regression tests. The results of the analysis show that workload, work stress, work environment, work intensity, and compensation have a significant effect on the performance of inpatient nurses at Bina Kasih Hospital, Medan (p < 0.05). The implication of this research is the importance of hospital management to pay attention to these factors to improve nurse performance and service quality in hospitals.

Abstract

Kinerja merupakan suatu elemen penting untuk mengukur kualitas mutu pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Kinerja kepala ruangan rawat inap berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan yang dilakukan oleh perawat. Kinerja yang dilakukan oleh pimpinan kadang kala dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor yang terdapat dalam diri perawat itu sendiri. Pimpinan cenderung memperhatikan hal-hal yang tidak berkaitan dengan kemajuan pemberian pembinaan yang didapat dalam karakteristik perawat dengan mempertimbangkan usia, pendidikan, masa kerja, etnis (budaya). Begitu juga dengan faktor gaya kepemimpinan, supervisi, motivasi dan rekan kerja yang diterapkan oleh kepala ruangan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja kepala ruangan rawat inap di RSUD Sultan Abdul Aziz Syah Peureulak Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survey analitik dengan pendekatan crossectional study. Populasi sebanyak 102 orang perawat di ruangan rawat inap dan seluruhnya dijadikan responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat dan multivariat menggunakan uji regresi logistik berganda pada taraf kemaknaan 95 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor umur (0,000), pendidikan (0,000), masa kerja (0,000), gaya kepemimpinan (0,000), supervisi (0,019) dan motivasi (0,035) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja kepala ruangan rawat inap karena lebih kecil dari 0,05, serta faktor etnis (budaya) (0,275) dan rekan kerja (0,076) tidak berpengaruh. Variabel paling dominan memengaruhi adalah pendidikan dengan nilai Exp(B) 28.806. Disarankan kepada RSUD Sultan Abdul Aziz Syah Peureulak Kabupaten Aceh Timur untuk memberikan pelatihan tentang kepemimpinan kepada kepala ruangan rawat inap agar dapat melaksanakan sikap profesionalitas kinerjanya dan memonitoring dan evaluasi kinerja kepala ruangan di rumah sakit serta bagi perawat agar melanjutkan pendidikan formal yang linier.

Abstract

Permasalahan gizi telah lama menjadi perhatian dunia. Gerakan Nasional Percepatan Perbaikan Gizi sangat penting dalam upaya kita menciptakan SDM Indonesia yang sehat, cerdas, dan produktif.Penelitian ini dilakukan di UPTD Puskesmas Pulau Rakyat Kabupaten Asahan pada bulan April- Mei Tahun 2024 dengan melakukan penelitian secara kualitatif dan menggali informasi dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi kepada 10 orang informan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  kebijakan pencegahan stunting  dari aspek SDM sudah sesuai, puskesmas menyediakan tenaga kesehatan khusus dan sesuai dengan bidangnya untuk pelayanan pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting yang terdiri dari tenaga bidan, dokter, ahli gizi dan kesehatan masyarakat, akan tetapi kendala yang ditemukan adalah ada tenaga kesehatan yang akan pensiun dan belum ada penggantinya. Koordinasi Kebijakan Pencegahan Stunting dari Aspek Pelaksanaan (Intervensi Spesifik Dan  Intervensi Sensitif ) masih mengalami hambatan yaitu kurangnya kesadaran dari keluarga sasaran yang diakibatkan pengetahuannya yang kurang dan sikapnya yang negatif tentang penanganan balita stunting dan lebih mendengar nasehat keluarga yang tidak memiliki basic ilmu gizi, peran kader yang masih belum optimal  dalam pelaksanaan Intervensi Spesifik Dan  Intervensi Sensitif  dan kerjasama antar lintas sektor dalam menangani kasus stunting ini masih kurang.

Abstract

Hospital Management Information System is an information technology system that processes and integrates the entire flow of hospital service processes in the form of coordination networks, reporting and administrative procedures to obtain appropriate and accurate information, but SIMRS in several hospitals is still not optimal. The general purpose of this study is to find out the analysis of the behavior of hospital organizations in the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) at dr. H. Yuliddin Away Tapaktuan Hospital, Tapaktuan District. This study uses a type of qualitative research with an interview approach. The location of this research is at dr. H. Yuliddin Away Tapaktuan Hospital, Tapaktuan District, South Aceh Regency. This research was conducted from March to August 2024. The research informants were the key informants of the director of the Hospital, the main informants of the head of administration, the head of support and the head of programs as well as supporting informants of 6 outpatients. The results of the research on infrastructure variables are not enough such as network, Wifi, programmer, cables that are being used do not work. The HR variables were found that the number of human resources was inadequate, there was still a shortage of human resources and the absence of Rewards and the implementation of SOPs that had not been maximized, and the variables of procedures at dr. Yulidin Away Hospital were focused on improving the implementation of SIMRS, this can be proven from the lack of appropriate recruitment of human resources, the absence of scheduled training, and the lack of control in the implementation of SIMRS. The suggestions in this study are that the management must allocate funds for the lack of infrastructure provision, provide training for SIMRS employees so that they can work according to SOPs, Recruitment of employees to run SIMRS so that the implementation of SIMRS also runs smoothly and better.
