Abstract

Latar belakang masalah: Postur tubuh yang tidak ideal pada remaja sering kali dipengaruhi oleh kebiasaan duduk lama, penggunaan gawai berlebihan, dan kurangnya edukasi tentang ergonomi. Jika dibiarkan, deviasi postural dapat menyebabkan gangguan muskuloskeletal kronis di kemudian hari. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan deteksi dini postural melalui edukasi dan skrining menggunakan metode REEDCO. Kegiatan dilakukan di SMAN 1 Wonoayu dan diikuti oleh 36 siswa kelas X dan XI. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif, demonstrasi latihan korektif, dan skrining postural observasional. Pembahasan: Hasil skrining menunjukkan bahwa 78% siswa memiliki postur kategori “good”, sementara 22% dalam kategori “fair”. Siswa dengan deviasi ringan diberikan umpan balik dan rekomendasi latihan korektif. Edukasi berbasis fisioterapi juga mendapat respon positif dari peserta dan guru. Simpulan: Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode REEDCO efektif untuk skrining postur di sekolah, serta edukasi postural dapat menjadi strategi promotif dan preventif yang aplikatif untuk menjaga kesehatan muskuloskeletal remaja.Kata Kunci: Postur tubuh, Skrining Postural, Edukasi Kesehatan, Gangguan Muskuloskeletal, Fisioterapi

Abstract

Complementary therapy is an option for Aisyiyah Pandaan Islamic Inpatient Clinic to be opened, but the limited facilities and human resources so that it cannot be realized, and the intense competition in the health services around the clinic becomes a threat to the clinic if the service remains as before. Based on data from patient visits to services Maternal and Child Health in the Islamic Pratama and Inpatient Clinic Aisyiyah Pandaan there was a 28% decrease in 2019 compared to 2018. Based on these problems, the solution provided was through the development of complementary therapy services, one of which was acupressure therapy for infants and children remember the clinic already serves pregnancy and childbirth checks. Implementation of activities begins with the improvement of human resources competencies through the acupressure training for infants and children, facilitation opens acupressure complementary therapy services for infants and children and helps create promotional media to the community. The results of this activities are increasing the understanding and skills of health workers and increasing the quantity and quality of services. The conclusion of this community service activity is to make a positive contribution to improving health services at the Aisyiyah Pandaan Inpatient Clinic which in turn can support increasing the number of infants and toddler visits.

Abstract

Good posture is when the head, shoulders, spine, waist, knees and ankles are all in a straight line. Lack of awareness of students about the importance of maintaining good posture will causes bad posture which has the potential to trigger abnormalities in the spine. This community service program is one of the government's efforts to improve the quality of life and productivity with good posture for students at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan, Sidoarjo Regency. This program is expected to increase awareness of good posture in students. The method is education with lectures, practice and demonstration methods by using teaching aids as a tool in the educational process. The measuring to measure posture is using the postural zone and for practicing Mckenzie Exercise and Stretch for neck and shoulder pain using a mat and foam roller props. The successful of this program can be seen from the increase in knowledge by 50%, increasing awareness of good posture in students by 75%, increasing the number of questions from students related to the material presented by 50% and the number of students experiencing a significant increase in pre-test and post-test scores by 70%.

Abstract

Early detection is a process of testing and measurement conducted when the prevalence of diseases or disorders is high in the normal population. The aim of this community engagement program is to enhance the knowledge of teachers, shadows, and educators at SD Inklusi Muhammadiyah 01 Candi Labschool UMSIDA regarding early stimulation, detection, and intervention in the development of elementary school-aged children using pediatric flashcards as a tool. The methods used in the educational activities for teachers and educators include two-way lectures, demonstrations involving all teachers, as well as the provision of pediatric flashcards and assistance in creating visual learning media for teachers. A total of 31 individuals participated in this program, including 22 regular teachers, 8 shadow teachers, and 3 education personnel at SD Muhammadiyah 01 Candi Labschool UMSIDA, Sidoarjo Regency. The program commenced on March 3, 2023. Overall, it can be concluded that this community engagement program has successfully increased the knowledge and skills of teachers in visual learning methods for children with special needs and achieved a high level of satisfaction.
