Abstract

This research aimed to develop listening comprehension materials to support the “Bahasa Inggris for the Eleventh-grade” textbook. This research was conducted on the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. The method of this research was ADDIE that was proposed by Branch, which consists of five phases; Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation with the exclusion of the Implementation and Evaluation phase. This material was designed as supplementary material to support the used coursebook, especially in listening class. The respondents in this research were the eleventh-grade students and an English teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. The interview for analyzing phase was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. The researcher made the listening comprehension materials by using Microsoft PowerPoint. The listening comprehension materials were designed and developed for about two months. In the development phase, the researcher used internal evaluation to ensure that the materials are appropriate and useable. In conclusion, it was found that the listening comprehension materials are appropriate and useable to support “Bahasa Inggris for the Eleventh grade” textbook.

Abstract

Students' learning abilities, especially about plants, must be broader and more diverse. The lack of knowledge about the existence of plants in the environment so that they forget the role of the plants themselves for life. This study aims to analyze the percentage of plant blindness in secondary school students. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative. In this study, data collection used questionnaires and interviews, data analysis was used to identify plant blindness in students in recognizing local vegetables by using statistical methods. The results showed that junior high school students had a higher rate of plant blindness than senior high school students. With a score range of ≥70%, junior high school students received 37.77% and senior high school students received 76.20%. Junior high school students with a score range of ≤70 were 62.23% and senior high school students were 23.8%, there is a considerable difference in value between the two value categories. In the future, students are expected to be more interested in knowing plants, especially local vegetables so that they can prevent plant blindness and can conserve local vegetables, besides that, teachers can make local vegetables a new learning resource for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan model KIP berbantuan media Mind Mapping pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Kota Ternate. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal tes, lembar observasi guru dan aktivitas siswa. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran membaca pemahaman dimulai dengan menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran, membagikan LKPD, mengerjakan LKPD, mempresentasikan LKPD, dan menyelesaikan tes individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada materi menentukan kalimat utama dan kalimat penjelas dengan model KIP berbantuan media Mind Mapping pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Kota Ternate mengalami peningkatan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari jumlah 26 siswa yang mengikuti tes pada pembelajaran siklus I terdapat 13 siswa (50%) yang tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 59,23. Selanjutnya pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 14 siswa (61%) yang tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 75,043. Adapun aktivitas guru pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 93 dan aktivitas siswa mencapai nilai rata-rata 89,47%, sedangkan aktivitas guru pada siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 100% dan aktivitas siswa mencapai nilai rata-rata 93,43.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penerapan model Role Playing dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SD Negeri 16 Kota Ternate, serta untuk mengukur efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa pada materi cerpen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Role Playing secara signifikan meningkatkan aktivitas guru dan siswa. Pada siklus I, persentase aktivitas guru mencapai 64,21% dan aktivitas siswa 62,10%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II, aktivitas guru meningkat menjadi 94,73% dan aktivitas siswa menjadi 86,31%. Selain itu, kemampuan berbicara siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I, hanya 2 dari 24 siswa (8,34%) yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Namun pada siklus II, 22 siswa (91,66%) berhasil mencapai KKM. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Role Playing terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa pada pembelajaran cerpen di kelas V. Model ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang aktif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

In the context of education in Indonesia, fostering love and pride for local culture is crucial. Our country has a vast cultural diversity that, if not preserved and introduced from an early age, could be lost to the tides of modernization. Therefore, the role of teachers as strategic agents in the educational process must be encouraged to adopt more innovative approaches in teaching. This community service aims to equip teachers with the skills to create e-modules that integrate local cultural values as part of the learning process. The activities were conducted in May 2025, involving 14 teachers from SMA Negeri 11 Halmahera Selatan. The training procedure included planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in teachers' understanding of local culture and technical skills, reflected in the average pretest and posttest scores, which increased from 61.4% to 90% for cultural understanding and from 58.6% to 80.3% for digital application skills. The resulting e-modules were able to present material aligned with regional characteristics, facilitating more engaging and interactive learning. This training outcome is expected to support the improvement of learning quality through culturally relevant digital media while strengthening the preservation of local culture within education. Integrating local culture into e-modules is also expected to enhance students' learning interest and critical thinking regarding cultural values.

Abstract

Plasenta previa merupakan salah satu komplikasi kehamilan yang terjadi saat plasenta menempel di bagian bawah rahim dan menutupi jalan lahir. Prevalensinya diperkirakan sekitar 0.5% dari seluruh persalinan di Indonesia dan berhubungan dengan risiko kelahiran prematur dan morbiditas serta mortalitas ibu dan janin. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kejadian plasenta previa beragam, antara lain usia ibu, paritas, riwayat operasi caesar, serta faktor lingkungan seperti merokok. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tinjauan pustaka dengan kata kunci "causal factors", "risk factors", "placenta previa".
