Abstract

Animated video media can make students interested in learning. The objectives of this research are, 1) To determine the differences in learning outcomes and learning activities of class class X student activities between classes that use animated video media and classes that use powerpoint media. The research sample was all students in class X Mia 1 and Mia 2. Data were collected using the test method in the form of multiple-choice questions and observation sheets. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the research results, it was obtained using the t-test there was a significant difference in student activity in class of 0.048, and in learning outcomes there was a significant difference of 0.000. Based on the Effect Size results, activity results were obtained at 0.51 and student learning outcomes at 0.50, including in the medium category.

Abstract

One way to make learning media that can be used as a classroom resource is to use print media technology to create booklets as learning media. The study's objective was to develop a coloring book medium for the songket sambas fabric based on biodiversity. Research and Development are used in this method of research. The research and development of booklet media for songket sambas fabric dyes on biodiversity materials yielded results with 79% (valid) validity on media aspects, 74% (valid) validity on material aspects, and 79% (valid) validity on language aspects. In the small-scale trial of science 1 and 2 classes, students' and teachers' responses to the booklet media received a score of 85% and a value of 84% (very valid). The scores for the large-scale trials of the IPA 1 and IPA 2 classes were 84% (very valid) and 81% (valid). The response from the teacher received a score of 77% (valid). The study's findings lead us to the conclusion that the booklet media can be utilized.

Abstract

From the results of interviews with teachers at the IT Baitul Qur'an junior high school, information was obtained that in carrying out learning, teachers used textbooks and worksheets to convey the sub-material of additives. However, these teaching materials have several shortcomings, such as material that is difficult to understand, explanations that are incomplete, and do not display information or examples on the material being explained. This research aims to produce a pocket book media based on the ethnobotany of the Malay tribe of West Kalimantan on the sub-material of additives for class VIII junior high school. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), with the Alessi and Trolip development model. This research stage has three stages, namely planning, design and development. The results of the research show that the pocket book media based on the ethnobotany of the West Kalimantan Malay tribe that was developed obtained a feasibility score on the media aspect of 92.50% (very valid), the material aspect of 91.67% (very valid), and the linguistic aspect of 90.48 % (very valid). Meanwhile, the results of students' responses to the pocket book based on ethnobotany of the Malay tribe of West Kalimantan obtained a score of 90.14% with very strong criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that the ethnobotany-based pocket book media that was developed is very suitable for use and received a positive response from students.

Abstract

Abstract. Environmental awareness in early childhood needs to be developed through education to save the environment from damage and prevent the loss of biodiversity and natural resources in the future. Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal teachers in Kubu Raya Regency face problems related to learning media for developing an attitude of environmental concern. This service activity is prioritized to provide exciting learning media solutions in developing an attitude of concern for the environment through Augmented Reality technology. The service program is implemented through three activities: (1) Education on the importance of developing an attitude of caring for the environment in early childhood, (2) Training on making Augmented Reality learning media, and (3) Providing Augmented Reality learning media for introducing the Ecosystem using the Assemblr Studio Web application. The program evaluation results showed that the participants' responses were excellent. Participants in education and training activities admitted they gained new knowledge, cared more about the environment, and felt helped in preparing engaging media for students. 100% of Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten teachers in the Kubu Raya district who participated in the activity stated they would use Augmented Reality as a learning media. Abstrak. Menanamkan kepedulian lingkungan kepada anak usia dini melalui pendidikan akan menyelamatkan lingkungan hidup dari kerusakan dan mencegah hilangnya keanekaragaman hayati serta sumber daya alam dimasa yang akan datang. Guru-guru Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kabupaten Kubu Raya menghadapi permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan media pembelajaran untuk penanaman sikap kepedulian lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diprioritaskan untuk memberikan solusi media pembelajaran yang menarik dalam menanamkan sikap kepedulian terhadap lingkungan melalui teknologi Augmented Reality. Program pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui tiga kegiatan, yaitu: (1) Edukasi pentingnya penanaman sikap peduli lingkungan pada anak usia dini, (2) Pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality, dan (3) Penyediaan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality untuk pengenalan Ekosistem. Pembuatan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality menggunakan aplikasi Assemblr Studio Web. Hasil evaluasi program menunjukkan respon peserta sangat baik. Peserta kegiatan edukasi dan pelatihan mengaku mendapat pengetahuan baru, lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan, dan merasa terbantu dalam menyiapkan media yang menarik untuk peserta didik. Sebesar 100% guru TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal kabupaten Kubu Raya peserta kegiatan menyatakan bersedia menggunakan media Augmented Reality dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Salako Dayak community is one of the indigenous tribes in West Kalimantan who utilizes the natural landscape of river basins and forests in Kaliau Village, Sajingan Besar District, Sambas Regency. Coffee is an important commodity that has become an inseparable part of the life of the Salako Dayak people. Researchers developed leaflet media to build students' pride, awareness and interest in the cultural heritage of the Salako Dayak tribe. This research the goal is to determine validity and practicality. diversity leaflet media (Dayak Salako coffee). This research uses the 4-D model recommended by Thiagarajan. The development procedures carried out are: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Development. The results of this study show that Folio. meia has evolved is very valid in the media aspect (98.52%), material aspect (87.55%) and is categorized as valid in the language aspect (83.33%). The results of students had a good response to large-scale trials of 82.54% and small-scale trials of 82.63%.

Abstract

West Kalimantan is home to Musa spp. conservation and genetic assessment of wild banana relatives are important for future breeding purposes. The present study aims to evaluate the genetic relationship of Musa spp. in West Kalimantan by analyzing the rbcL chloroplast DNA using phylogenetic analysis. The methods in this study were sampling, DNA extraction, PCR of rbcL fragment, and data analysis. The specific primer was used to amplify the rbcL chloroplast DNA of ten accessions of Musa spp. in West Kalimantan. The results showed that the area of the rbcL region of Musa spp. in this study was estimated at 587-591 bp. It showed high variability with a conservation level A+T content of 56.95%. The rbcL sequences of Musa spp. have polymorphic sites on 13 numbers of nucleotides. The phylogenetic analysis with an ML algorithm of 35 Musa spp. from West Kalimantan and GenBank data was successfully divided into 4 main clades, and the bootstrap value was 80-81%. This study is expected beneficial for taxonomic, conservation, and banana breeding efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Belimbing on biodiversity material taught with infographic videos and determine the magnitude of the influence of infographic videos on biodiversity material on student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Belimbing. This study uses an experimental method with a form of quasi experimental research (Quasi Experimental Design) based on the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The samples in this study were class X2 as the experimental class and class X4 as the control class determined by simple random sampling technique. Based on the results of the study, the difference in student learning outcomes with the percentage of completeness of the experimental class posttest score was 90% and the control class was 51.613%. The results of the effect size calculation are 1,669 with a large percent nonoverlap of 73,4%, so it is included in the large category and there is an influence of infographic videos on biodiversity material on student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Belimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa materi keanekaragaman hayati yang diajarkan dengan video infografis dan mengetahui besarnya pengaruh video infografis pada materi keanekaragaman hayati terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Belimbing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental Design) berdasarkan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas X2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X4 sebagai kelas kontrol yang ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan nilai posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 90% dan kelas control sebesar 51,613%. Hasil perhitungan effect size yaitu sebesar 1,669 dengan besar percent nonoverlap sebesar 73,4% maka masuk dengan kategori besar dan terdapat pengaruh video infografis pada materi keanekaragaman hayati terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Belimbing.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya yang dapat meningkatkan hasil dan aktivitas belajar siswa adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang interaktif yaitu multimedia interaktif articulate storyline . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas multimedia interaktif mengartikulasikan alur cerita terhadap hasil dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasy Experimental Design dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Grup Design . Perlakuan dikelas eksperimen (IX A) menggunakan multimedia interaktif articulate storyline dan dikelas kontrol (IX B) menggunakan Power Point . Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa butir soal dan observasi aktivitas belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menggunakan Uji-t bahwa hasil belajar memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan sebesar 0,000 dan aktivitas belajar menggunakan Uji- U Mann-Whitney terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebesar 0,030. Berdasarkan hasil Effect Size diperoleh hasil belajar siswa sebesar 58,9% (nilai Effect Size 1,1) dan belajar aktivitas siswa sebesar 38,2% (nilai Effect Size 0,63).

Abstract

Because the residents of Sungai Rasau sub-district constantly run out of water to satisfy their daily requirements when the dry season arrives, this project-based learning takes the shape of creating a filtration tool. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the project-based learning approach has affected the student's capacity to solve problems related to environmental pollution at SMAN 5 Singkawang. With a single group pretest type—tests and observation sheets—this study approach employs an experimental pre-experimental design. According to the study's findings, the average pretest score was 47.49, while the average posttest score was 76.37. An N-Gain rating of 1.11 indicates improved problem-solving skills (high). The impact size calculation yields a value of 4.02 (high). In class X SMA Negeri 5 Singkawang, it can be inferred that the project-based learning approach significantly influences students' problem-solving skills and their understanding of environmental degradation.
