Abstract

Padang Karunia Group (PKG) is engaged in four main business areas coal mining, coal trading, mining contractor and infrastructure and has consistently delivered coal product to domestic and overseas market. There are problems in the business processes of PKG’s everyday operations, such as: the waiting time for reports is over one day when it should be a few hours, data has more than one version and is not accurate, and demurrage (a charge payable to the owner of a chartered ship in respect of failure to load or discharge the ship within the time agreed). Issues occur because the role of IT is not optimal. The purpose of this study was to design an information technology (IT) architecture suitable for supporting the operation of the PKG. The correct IT architecture design can help companies to achieve their vision and mission. The right IT architecture for PKG will support all of its operations. The design of the IT architecture could be done with the existing framework using: EAP, TOGAF, FEA, DODAF, and Gartner Methodology. For this work the TOGAF was selected because it is open source, systematic, and thorough. Analysis was done using a business processes approach to obtain the IT needs mapped to the principles of business, information systems, applications, and information technology. The results from this study are a business architecture design, an information systems architecture, and a technology architecture appropriate to support the business of PKG.

Abstract

STMM sebagai institusi di bidang perguruan tinggi memiliki peran dalam menjawab tantangan tersebut dengan menghasilkan lulusan-lulusan yang cakap dan unggul di bidang digital. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk dapat menyusun program studi baru yang dapat menghasilkan SDM unggul di bidang digital. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap, yaitu: analisis pasar, analisis kebutuhan industri, analisis internal STMM, penyusunan prodi baru hasil yang sesuai dengan Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) dan Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi (SNPT) dilanjutkan dengan analisis kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana prodi baru. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan desk research dan focus group discussion dengan pimpinan dan para dosen. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah analisis awal untuk menyusun pembentukan program studi baru di STMM Yogyakarta. Kajian ini berisi visi dan misi, tujuan, sasaran, profil lulusan, standar kompetensi lulusan, bahan kajian, dan materi pembelajaran prodi baru. Hasil penelitian dapat menjadi bahan kajian untuk meningkatkan peran STMM dalam memenuhi kebutuhan SDM yang terampil digital. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah Program studi Software Engineering diharapkan mampu mencetak SDM yang memiliki keterampilan digital dan berkontribusi untuk pembangunan Indonesia maupun global agar potensi digital Indonesia tidak tertinggal.

Abstract

In the era of technological advancement, information system transformation affects public services, including those at the Population and Civil Registration Office (Dindukcapil) in Yogyakarta City. The Dindukcapil website plays an essential role in delivering information and administrative services; however, low ratings indicate user dissatisfaction. This study aims to assess the impact of the Dindukcapil website quality on user satisfaction in Yogyakarta, utilizing the Webqual 4.0 theory, which includes dimensions of usability quality, information quality, and service interaction quality, as well as user satisfaction theory covering expectation alignment, revisit intention, and recommendation availability. This research uniquely contributes by specifically examining the impact of Dindukcapil website quality on public service user satisfaction at the regional government level. A descriptive quantitative method using an online questionnaire was analyzed with SPSS version 26 through validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, and T-tests. Results indicate that website quality positively and significantly influences user satisfaction by 54.4%, while 45.6% is affected by other variables. Based on the study’s findings, recommendations for Dindukcapil include evaluating and improving website content by enhancing SEO, user personalization, security, reputation, and providing a feedback section to strengthen engagement and address community aspirations.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi komputer telah merubah gaya hidup masyarakat, dimana masyarakat semakin dimudahkan dalam mendapatkan informasi dan melaksanakan aktifitasnya dengan berbagai aplikasi dan gadget. Hal ini menjadi peluang dalam pengelolaan desa wisata, sehingga pengelola desa wisata mampu secara interaktif terhubung dengan wisatawan dengan memanfaatkan media sosial. Desa Wisata Adiluhur Kebumen merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi objek wisata yang bisa dikembangkan dan dipromosikan melalui multimedia.  Taman Reptil Adiluhur dan Kampung Wisata Inggris Kebumen merupakan potensi objek wisata yang menjanjikan dari Desa Wisata Adiluhur, namun pengelolaannya masih belum optimal. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan warga untuk mempromosikan potensi desa wisata. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan pelatihan multi media kepada warga desa selain itu melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan kepada perwakilan pemerintah desa dan tokoh masyarakat. Kemudian disusun suatu strategi pengembangan dan promosi desa wisata menggunakan multimedia dan sosial media. Strategi tersebut antara lain pengotimalan website desa wisata dengan menggunakan search engine optimizer dan  pemanfaatan platform media sosia yang tepat. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini, peserta mampu memproduksi karya multi media yang dapat digunakan sebagai sarana promosi Desa Wisata Adiluhur.Kata Kunci : desa wisata; media sosial; multimedia; promosi.Utilization of Multimedia in the Development and Promotion of the Potential of the Adiluhur Kebumen Tourism VillageABSTRACTThe development of computer technology has changed people's lifestyles, where people are easy to getting the information and carrying out its activities by many applications and gadgets. This is an opportunity in the management of a tourist village so that the tourism village manager can interactively connect with tourists by utilizing social media. Adiluhur Kebumen Tourism Village is one of the villages that have potential tourism objects that can be developed and promoted through multimedia. Adiluhur Reptile Park and Kebumen English Tourism Village are promising tourism potentials of the Adiluhur Tourism Village, but the management is still not optimal. Therefore the purpose of community service is to increase the ability of citizens to promote the potential of tourism villages. The method used is multi-media outreach and training to villagers in addition to conducting observations, interviews, and documentation conducted to village government representatives and community leaders. Then developed a strategy for developing and promoting rural tourism using multimedia and social media. These strategies include optimizing the tourism village website by using a search engine optimizer and using an appropriate social media platform. As a result of this community service, participants were able to produce multi-media works that could be used as a means of promoting Adiluhur Tourism Village.Keywords: multimedia; promotion; social media; tourism village

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of interactional communication in building effective relationships between teachers and students in Special Needs Schools (SLB), particularly at Mutiara Hati Special Needs School in Magelang. Unresponsive and one-way communication often becomes an obstacle in creating optimal learning quality for students with special needs, especially students who experience verbal barriers and social development disorders. In this context, this research aims to identify teacher interactional communication practices that can encourage increased student participation and motivation in learning. This research uses the interactional communication theory of Schramm and Budianto, which includes five leading indicators: response, openness, trust, empathy, and support. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The primary informants consisted of three teachers at Mutiara Hati Special Needs School who had direct experience interacting with students with special needs. The study results indicate that interactional communication practices that prioritize empathy and openness, as well as adaptive verbal and nonverbal responses to the unique needs of each student, contribute significantly to increasing learning motivation, self-confidence, and learning quality. Teachers who demonstrate emotional understanding and use non-verbal approaches such as gentle facial expressions and light touch have been shown to create a more supportive and inclusive classroom climate. Effective interactional communication is a tool for conveying messages and a medium for building deep psychological connections between teachers and students. This study also recommends interactive communication training for special needs teachers as a sustainable strategy to improve the quality of inclusive education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penyediaan file video dengan bitrate bervariasi menjadi syarat utama bagi layanan Video On Demand yang menerapkan adaptive streaming. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan transcoding yang menghasilkan video dengan multi-bitrate. Proses multi-bitrate transcoding membutuhkan waktu yang tidak singkat. Lama durasi waktunya sebanding dengan besarnya bitrate, frame size dan frame rate. Untuk mempersingkat durasi transcoding, dibuat sebuah prototipe layanan transcoding dengan menerapkan Mapreduce. Layanan transcoding dengan Mapreduce terdiri dari satu komputer master dan beberapa komputer worker yang terhubung dalam satu LAN. Dengan dikoordinir oleh komputer master, komputer-komputer worker mengerjakan proses Map dan Reduce. Di dalam proses Map dilakukan transcoding terhadap segmented videos. Di dalam proses Reduce dilakukan penggabungan segmen-segmen video yang telah di-transcode dengan parameter/key (bitrate, frame size, dan frame rate) yang sama menjadi satu video yang utuh. Prototipe layanan transcoding dibuat menggunakan Library FFMPEG untuk transcoding, SCP untuk transfer file, RPC untuk komunikasi antar komputer. Di dalam pengujian prototipe, jumlah komputer worker ditentukan sebanyak 7 buah. Kinerja layanan transcoding sangat memuaskan dengan rata-rata efektifitas transcoding sebesar 71,3% dibandingkan dengan transcoding menggunakan satu komputer. AbstractThe provision of video files with varying bitrates is the main requirement for Video On Demand services that implement adaptive streaming. Transcoding that produces multiple bitrates achieves that. Multi-bitrate transcoding can take a longer time. That duration is comparable with the large of the video's bitrates, frame sizes, and frame rates. A transcoding service prototype was created based on Mapreduce to shorten the duration. Transcoding service using Mapreduce consists of several computers connected to a LAN, one as master and the other as worker computers. The master coordinates the workers to do the Map and Reduce process. In the Map process, workers transcode the segmented videos. In the Reduce process, workers merge all transcoded video segments with the same key or parameters (bitrate, frame size, and frame rate) into a single video. The transcoding service prototype was created using the FFMPEG library for transcoding, SCP for file transfer, and RPC for communication between computers. In the testing stage, the number of workers is 7 computers. Service performance is very satisfactory, with average transcoding effectiveness of 71,3% compared to transcoding using a single computer.
