Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya mengkaji academic burnout pada peserta didik terdampak wabah Covid-19. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan secara mendetail mengenai kondisi psikologis peserta didik khususnya mengenai academic burnout. Walaupun secara mayoritas peserta didik mengalami academic burnout pada tingkat sedang yaitu 50% namun perlu diwaspadai 10% dari 527 responden peserta didik eks-karesidenan Surakarta mengalami burnout pada tingkat tinggi. Selain itu, melalui uji paired t-test maka ditemukan fakta menarik bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan (<0,05) tingkat academic burnout ditinjau dari gender. Disamping itu melalui uji one way anova terdapat pula perbedaan signifikan (<0,05) ditinjau dari pekerjaan orang tua.Kata kunci: academic, burnout, pandemi

Abstract

Having physical deficiencies, most of the time,affect the psychology of individuals, especially people with physical impairments. The role of family, community, playmates, and others contribute to the stages of psychological development of individuals with physical impairments. This also has a significant impact on their body image and self-esteem. People with physical disabilities often face stigmatization, discrimination and unfavorable treatment from society because of their physical differences. According to the some studiesbody image has a great influence on people with physical impairments due totheir physical limitations. Johs and Wardle (2005) (in Stojcic et al., 2020) further discussed that dissatisfaction with body image is associated with depression, stress and low self-esteem. Therefore, the author wants to know The Relationship between Body Image and Self Esteem for People with Physical Disabilities at the Prof. Dr. Soeharso Integrated Center, Surakarta. This research approach uses quantitative correlational. The subjects in this research covers 30 respondents. Meanwhile, the sampling technique uses a total technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire or instrument supporting Body Image and Self-Esteem with a Likert scale measuring instrument that has been modified by eliminating neutral answers. Hypothesis testing in this research uses Product Moment correlation analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program version 23. Based on the Product Moment correlation from Pearson, an rxy was obtained of 0.052 with a significant (2-tailed) p value of 0.00 (p<0.01), indicating that there is a positive relationship between social support and mental career readiness; the rxy value shows a positive direction. This means that the correlation coefficient can be tested by consulting the calculated r with the r product moment table for a significance level of 5% with N= 30 of 0.361. Because r count = 0.052 > r table = 0.361. The results of the correlation coefficient of 0.052 are consulted in the strong category, this is based on the interpretation of the correlation figures.

Abstract

Abstrak Perilaku maladaptif merupakan perilaku yang tidak mampu menyesuaikan diri atau beradaptasi dengan keadaan sekelilingnya secara wajar, dan tidak mampu beradaptasi sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan usianya. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku menyimpang anak yaitu adanya ketidakharmonisan dalam keluarga seperti hubungan antar anak ataupun hubungan anak dengan orang tua yang berjalan kurang semestinya sebagai keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 380 mahasiswa bki semester 2 dan 4 dengan sampel sebanyak 110 mahasiswa. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk mengambil sampel pada penelitian ini. pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala dukungan keluarga dan skala perilaku maladaptif. Hasil Uji statistik spearman rank dengan alpha 0,05 diperoleh p value 0,000 dan koefisien korelasi - 0,576. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi dengan arah hubungan yang kuat dan negatif antara dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku maladaptif. Maladaptive behavior is behavior that is unable to adapt to its sorrounding naturally, and is unable to adapt according to its age development stage. There are several factors that can influence children’s deviant behavior, namely disharmony in the family, such as relationships between children or children’s relationships with parents that are not functioning properly as a family. This research uses quantitative correlational methods. The population in this study was 380 BKI students in semester 2 and 4 with a sample of 110 students. Purposive sampling was used to take samples in this research. Data collectin used a questionnaire with a family support scale and a maladaptive behavior scale. The result of the spearman rank statistical test with an alpha of 0,05 obtained a p value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient of -0.576. This shows that there is a correlations with a strong and negative directions between family support and maladaptive behavior. Keywords: Family support, Maladaptive behavior, College students

Abstract

Moral is a habit based on the rules or norms that apply in society. This study aims to examine the importance of the role of parents in the moral development of the millennial generation. This research method uses library research, namely research whose object of study uses library data in the form of books as a data source by reading, studying and also analyzing various existing literature in the form of articles and books as a collaboration of empirical studies and theoretical studies. The results of this study are that there are several roles of parents that can be sought to contribute to their children as part of the millennial generation.

Abstract

Fenomena diskriminasi sosial terhadap penyandang disabilitas fisik sering kali terjadi. Diskriminasi sosial yang dialami penyandang disabilitas fisik memiliki kemungkinan dampak yang besar pada psikologisnya. Oleh karena itu, penyandang disabilitas fisik perlu memiliki resiliensi dalam menghadapi diskriminasi sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan resiliensi penyandang disabilitas fisik dalam menghadapi diskriminasi sosial. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran resiliensi penyandang disabilitas fisik dalam menghadapi diskriminasi sosial dengan cara berusaha mengembangkan potensi dalam diri. Walaupun penyandang disabilitas fisik memiliki mobilitas yang lambat, namun mereka mampu membuktikan bahwa mereka bisa bertahan dengan potensi yang dimiliki.

Abstract

The Kanjuruhan tragedy in 2022 led to hundreds of victims, including adolescents. This tragedy left serious impacts, both physical and psychological. Psychologically, the victim experienced post-traumatic stress. This article describes stress factors, forms of stress, and coping strategies of the Kanjuruhan tragedy survivors. The case study implemented a qualitative approach. Data were collected via in-depth interviews with three male adolescents who survived the tragedy. These informants reported symptoms of stress after the incident. In dealing with this stress, the informants used various methods which included problem-focused and emotion-focused coping. Apart from that, the informants also grew closer to God, indicating spiritual-focused coping. This study can be used as a reference for people who experience traumatic events to apply the appropriate coping strategies.

Abstract

Psychological first Aid (PFA) is first aid for someone who experiences mild mental health disorders. Through mastery of PFA skills, students are expected to be able to provide support to peers who are experiencing mental health disorders. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the PFA Module to improve soft skills related to providing psychological support to peers in UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta students. The design used in this study was Pre-experiment with 30 students consisting of various study programs at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. After the analysis was carried out with the T-test, the results obtained were p < 0.05, meaning that the hypothesis was accepted. In conclusion, the PFA module is effective in improving soft skills in UIN Raden Mas Said students, especially in providing psychological support to peers.

Abstract

This research is a follow-up research and development of a comprehensive guidance and counseling curriculum in SMK in the industrial revolution’s era 4.0. The existence of manufacturing technology that has entered the trend of automation and data exchange, including cyber-physical systems, namely the internet of things (IoT), cognitive computing and digitization in various aspects of life, makes vocational education a challenge in preparing human resources who are able to contribute active according to the area of ​​expertise for the progress of the nation in the industrial revolution’s era 4.0. The development of a guidance and counseling curriculum in SMK that is responsive to the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 includes the development of methods, strategies and service materials, namely in accordance with comprehensive, competency-based guidance and counseling. This curriculum will contain: the services and objectives of each domain, the formulation of class level competencies (measurable student success standards), details of activities that students and counselors must do in one unit of time. The development of this curriculum uses the research and development design of Borg and Gall which has reached the small group test stage. The small group test was carried out on 15 Vocational School Counseling Teachers throughout the Surakarta Ex-Karesidenan by selecting subjects using the random sampling method. The results of the small group test showed a indicator very good in the academic, career, and personal or social fields.
