Abstract

Learning new information and abilities is the process of education. Learning English is a skill-based learning experience that necessitates a variety of ways and tactics. Technological innovations have had a significant impact on current education. Technology is the most recent solution to the issues of learning English. As English language learning methods improve, cake completes an innovative method of language learning on a mobile phone base. The goal of this study is to look into how Cake apps can help students improve their vocabulary at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. This study employs a pre-experimental research design with a pre-test. Five students will participate in this study. The research instruments were tests and questionnaires used to answer the study questions. How does the vocabulary of pupils change as a result of using Duolingo? The students' scores are raised as a result of the quanlitative data. The end product is anticipated to provide teachers and students with knowledge on having in-depth language learning practice in a convenient style.

Abstract

Students who enter junior high school must have master the basics of the international language, that is English language, so that when entering senior high school students are proficient in English. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the learnenglish.de website is able to influence students' skills in English, especially in mastering English vocabulary. This type of research was included in the type of qualitative research with a descriptive study approach. This research was conducted specifically, detail, and in depth with students. The results of this study include; Many students were helped by online courses, moreover free courses, in improving English skills. In addition, 86,4% of 44 students agreed that the learnenglish.de website was worth using to improve their English skills, especially in terms of vocabulary. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Ome TV application in improving English vocabulary and pronunciation for non-native speakers. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and content analysis to analyze the impact of Ome TV on language learning. Previous studies have shown that Ome TV can improve speaking skills, vocabulary, and pronunciation for non-native speakers. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and content analysis to analyze the impact of Ome TV on language learning. Previous studies have shown that Ome TV can improve speaking skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, and self-confidence, as well as courage. The content analysis of the conversations between the participants and native English speakers revealed that the participants were able to use more complex vocabulary and sentence structures after using Ome TV. The results of this study suggest that Ome TV is an effective tool for improving English language skills, as it provides opportunities for users to interact with native English speakers and expand their vocabulary. Additionally, using Ome TV can increase users' confidence and willingness to communicate in English. Overall, this study highlights the potential of Ome TV as a language learning tool for non-native speakers.

Abstract

Lack of vocabulary is the main problem for Indonesian students who learn English. One of the things that makes learning English difficult is the lack of vocabulary. In order that, the technology development in this current era can be used as a way to improve students’ vocabulary. There are many software or applications on phones and laptops that provide learning English. The purpose of this research is to analyze whether the “Bright-English for Beginners” application be able to increase students’ vocabulary or not. This type of research was included in the type of quantitative research with a group without treatment (control group) and a group with treatment (experimental group) which carry out a pre-test and post-test. Before giving the treatment, both groups were given a pre-test. After giving the treatment, which is an experimental group are taught by “Bright-English for Beginners” application and control group without it, the researcher gave a post-test. The results of this include 1) There is a relevant improvement for the group with treatment (experimental group) from the pre-test (before treatment) and post-test (after treatment), 2) There is a significant difference between students’ vocabulary utilizing “Bright-English for Beginners” application and without using it, 3) Vocabulary learning using the “Bright-English for Beginners” application has been proven to be more effective than using the usual method.
