Abstract

Modified Union credo is a cooperative-type business entity owned by a group of people in a unifying bond, which agrees to invest their money (shares) so as to create joint capital with decent business results and for productive and welfare purposes. The role of cooperatives is very important in Indonesia, because cooperatives can increase the economic growth of Indonesian society. The loan administration information system (credit) at CUM Caritas HKBP Pematangsiantar is not yet effective, because it still uses a manual system so that data is easily lost and difficult to find, and the preparation of reports takes a long time. The purpose of this study is to build a system that makes it easier for staff to process data for CUM Caritas HKBP members and improve staff performance to be more efficient and minimize errors in data processing, especially in the loan administration (credit) section of CUM Caritas HKBP. In this research, in the process of collecting data, the researcher used the method of observation, interviews and literature study and the method of system development to be used was the Prototype method. The information system to be designed will be in the form of a web and use the MySQL database. It is hoped that this research can solve the problem of Loan Administration (Credit) at CUM Caritas HKBP Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, every agency requires every employee to be able to improve their performance. The increase in performance is strongly influenced by the role of management in carrying out effective leadership. Abstract

This study entitled "Analysis of The Relationship Between Gross Domestic Product and Indonesian Exports (Granger causality test)”. This research was conducted because of the dualism of the theory between the two variables. In macroeconomic theory, the relationship between Gross Domestic Product is one of the similarities, because exports contribute to Gross Domestic Products on the demand side, while neoclassical trade theory emphasizes causality related to household production and assistance for exports. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Gross Domestic Product and exports. This study uses several analytical methods: Unit Root Test, Cointegration Test, Granger Causality Test using the E-views program7 and using Quarterly data. The results of the estimation of this study are the estimation of the relationship in GDP and exports, or in other words, the Gross Domestic Product affects Indonesia's exports. This is concluded based on the estimation results that can be seen from the statistical F value that is greater than the f-table (8.958205> 3.841466) on the Null hypothesis. GDP is not an Export Granger with a 95% confidence level. This means GDP affects exports When GDP can affect the level of exports in the intervals of 2000 to 2012.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) as a strategic approach to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations at PT. Rain Jaya Bersaudara, a fireworks distribution company based in Medan, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative descriptive case study method, data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with warehouse workers and managers. The findings indicate that poor awareness of personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, the absence of protective doors on freight elevators, and disorganized warehouse layout significantly contribute to operational inefficiencies and increased risk of workplace accidents. This study recommends the development of strict PPE policies, provision of adequate safety facilities, regular OHS training programs, and improved monitoring and warehouse management systems. A structured and comprehensive OHS strategy is shown to create a safer work environment, boost productivity, and minimize operational losses.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, artificial intelligence, and global market dynamics has created an increasingly hypercompetitive and unpredictable business landscape. This research examines the role of adaptive mindset and digital technology in improving organizational performance in this challenging environment. Using a mixed-methods sequential exploratory approach with three phases-systematic literature analysis, multi-site case studies across 8 organizations, and quantitative surveys involving 785 employees from 12 technology companies-this study identifies effective strategies for managing employee mindset in the digital era. Findings reveal that organizations with a growth mindset culture experience 23% higher work engagement, 18% increase in product innovation, and 15% improvement in employee retention compared to organizations with fixed mindset. Digital mindset serves as a critical mediator between technology adoption and digital transformation success, with a correlation coefficient of 0.78 between digital literacy and operational productivity. Transformational leadership adopting paradox mindset improves team adaptability to technological disruption by 31% while reducing change resistance among baby boomer generation by 40%. This research extends Carol Dweck's theory by introducing the digital agility mindset concept, integrating continuous learning principles with cutting-edge technological competencies, and provides practical frameworks for assessing digital readiness and implementing leadership digital coaching.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth and exchange rate fluctuations on the dynamics of the Indonesia-United States trade balance between 2000 and 2023. Applying quantitative analysis methods through multiple linear regression, this study utilizes secondary data from institutions such as Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Bank Indonesia, and the World Bank. Key findings indicate that the exchange rate significantly influences the trade balance, while GDP growth does not show a statistically significant effect. Simultaneously, these two variables make a significant contribution, explaining 79.4% of the variation in the trade balance. The study period recorded a shift in the trade balance from a deficit (2000–2014) to a sustained surplus (2015–2023), with a peak surplus recorded at $16.568 billion in 2022. This conclusion emphasizes the crucial role of the exchange rate in strengthening export competitiveness, in contrast to GDP growth, which does not directly shape trade patterns. Policy recommendations include diversifying traded commodities and developing non-traditional export sectors to maintain a performance surplus.

Abstract

Indonesia's trade balance is often considered vulnerable to exchange rate fluctuations and inflation, but in reality, the period from January 2023 to December 2024 showed a surprising pattern. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression on monthly data from Bank Indonesia and Statistics Indonesia to examine the short-term effects of the exchange rate and inflation. The results show that neither is significantly affected. Despite a moderate depreciation of the rupiah and a decline in inflation to its lowest level in history, the trade balance remains in surplus. This finding challenges the common assumption that short-term macroeconomic fluctuations determine trade performance and reveals that structural external factors such as global commodity prices and trading partner demand play a more dominant role. This study emphasizes the need for innovative sector-based trade strategies beyond conventional monetary instruments to maintain external stability.
