Abstract

One method  for energy transfer wireless is magnetic induction couplings. In general, copper is the most important element in producing magnetic flux in the form of coils or coils. Copper is used as an electrical transfer media because the material consists of many electrons that can move freely. Magnetic coupling simulation with Multisim 12.00 shows that the transmitter coil induces a receiver coil and energy transfer occurs.

Abstract

Control street light is used in special areas that are difficult to reach by operator or officer in charge of light control street. This research is using the GSM SMS gateway and ATMEGA328 microcontroller. The aim of this research are to know design the lamp smart control of public street lighting based on SMS gateway and the smart control device to public street lighting which can do automatically and can read electric current and voltage. The method of this research is experimental by doing such as testing, measuring, registering and several experiences by using sensor LDR and SMS gateway, The principal of work to detect voltage, electric current with microcontroller ATMEGA328 and sensors. The components that use are microcontroller ATMEGA328, transformation 2 amps, IC regulator, lighting sensor, really, current sensor ACS712, voltage sensor ZMPT101b, LED lamp, GSM SIM 800L V.2 and SMS  gateway, battery 12 Volt. The finding result of this study is the way to turn on and turn off public street lighting by using automatically system, the border light that has been determined and know the current electric and voltages. Sending signals was received by the 800L V.2 SIM module. When the signal is not good, it is difficult to send SMS data to the handphone. So, it needs  additional interface or website-based program, the output of current is more than 2Amp in order to the equipment do maximize in operate the module device and the signal of GSM signal can search to the mobile.

Abstract

The purpose of research was to determine the condition of the power flow (active and reactive power), the voltage of each channel (bus) under normal operating conditions, and the power loss (losses) of each bus at the Block 1 PLTGU PT. PJB Gresik Generating Unit. The method used to analyze the power flow is Forward Backward Sweep by forming a BIBC and BCBV matrix, where the results of the analysis will be compared with the results of the simulation. From the results of comparison of calculations and simulation of power flow obtained active power (P) of 1% and reactive power (Q) of 1.76%. The biggest voltage drop on bus 5 is 7% and is a critical bus condition, because the voltage drop is ± 5% of the nominal voltage. The largest value of power losses is on bus 4 with an active power of 1.14% and a reactive power of 0.5%. Whereas for other bus conditions such as bus 2 including marginal bus conditions, bus 3 with bus 6 are critical bus conditions, because each bus has a voltage drop of ± 5% of nominal voltage.

Abstract

The process of firing is always unpredictable and predicted in advance. When it comes, what causes it, the level of coverage and how much impact it causes, are things that cannot be predicted by human capabilities. The design of a fire safety system that aims to improve the safety and comfort of occupants in the building. The analysis carried out is to measure and record temperature and conduct a series of several experiments. Temperature is equipped with Celsius (C) units and smoke uses PPM units (parts per million). By working, the smoke sensor and temperature will detect itself and work properly. And this is to avoid any errors caused by rising temperatures due to sunlight or smoke from cigarettes. If the LM35 temperature sensor reaches 40 C then the temperature will detect and the buzzer will sound the LED will be wrong and the LCD 2x16 will display "CAUTION THERE'S ASAP". If Smoke reaches from 600 upwards the smoke sensor will detect and the buzzer will sound, the LED light will light up then on LCD 2x16 will display "CAUTION THERE IS FIRE"

Abstract

In this era many system can be help people  doing activity. Assistant robot is a robot used to help people activity. Follower robot is a robot can follow the object automatically. From the background, the researcher created a robot can follower target based on shape and color to assistant robot application. This robot equipped with camera to detect target and microcontroller to movement robot control. To recognize object, the system will detect object based on shape and colour, then the robot will follow wherever the target moves. From the test result, the system can detect object is 86.6% successs rate, with the best lumination of light is 120 lux. Testing detection target based on distance, having result is 87,5% success rate, with minimum distance is 30 cm and maximum distance is 350 cm. from all of experiment, the robot will moves follow target while the distance of target is more then 80cm  and less than 350 cm, and the robot will stop while distance target is less then 80 cm. the researcher hope the robot can giving help people in daily activity.

Abstract

This research uses fingerprint as the security system. This tool checks if there is a match between the data obtained from the verification process and data stored on the file, if it matches then the motorcycle engine will light up. If there is stranger tries to put his finger into the fingerprint tool installed in the motorcycle, it will be rejected and the GSM SIM 900 module will inform the owner via phone that the motorcycle is in unsafe condition

Abstract

Sosialisasi dan penyuluhan K3 dan upaya penghematan energi kepada warga desa dilaksanakan agar masyarakat  mendapatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang keamanan dan keselamatan kerja (K3) dalam perawatan dan pemeliharaan instalasi rumah serta mengupayakan secara maksimal penghematan dalam konsumsi daya listrik. Dalam pelaksanaan sosialisasi masyarakat sangat antusias mengikuti acara dengan diskusi dan contoh kasus K3 kelistrikan, pemutaran video dan beberapa upaya-upaya penghematan energi yang dapat dilakukan di masyarakat.

Abstract

Electric motor is the type of motor that is most often used in everyday life. This is because the electric motor has several advantages that are not owned by a DC motor, which is simple construction and the price is quite cheap. However, if the motor is used continuously can experience heat or over heat, which can cause the motor to be damaged or burned. To overcome these problems required a system that can secure the motor from the heat that caused by the motor is often in use. This tool uses LM35 temperature sensor and is able to keep the motor always at its optimum temperature. In this system is also installed voltage sensors and current sensors to read the value of voltage and   the current required by the motor. The value of temperature, current and voltage are displayed on LCD 2x16. In serial communication, initialization of baudrate on micro controller Atmega 328 is adjusted with baudrate computer, that is equal to 9600 bps. The system will provide a buzzer sound alert when the temperature reading is at 80.51ºC. Sensor LM35 function to read the temperature on the motor, when the motor is given a voltage source 220 V. At the time of the motor with a temperature of 31.74ºC up to 75.20 ºC motor in a safe state, but at temperatures above 80.51 º C motor in the state of overheating then there is a response from the micro controller to activate the relay so that the relay will break the voltage that flows on the motor and cause the motor to stop automatically, and buzzer gives a warning that the motor overheating. If this warning is allowed it can cause the motor to burn and will cause much greater repair costs.

Abstract

The turbidity  sensor  works  by reading the  water particles  turbidity level captured by  the Light Dependent Resistor  (LDR)  that  has  been  emitted  by  the  laser  light.  Therefore,  the  LDR  resistance  score  changes  and  it makes  the  Nephelometric  Turbidity  Units  (NTU)  score  also  changes.  The  solenoid  valve  is  controlled  by  the suitability of the readings of the desired turbidity meter sensor by the operator.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi sekarang yang sangat pesat, Salah satu sistem berbasis otomatis yang sering diintegrasi dengan beberapa komponen pendukung, agar sistem dapat berfungsi. kWh berfungsi untuk mengetahui pemakaian energi listrik secara analog yang bisa ditampilkan dalam bentuk angka pada sebuah meteran. Saat ini peneliti merancang suatu kWh yang dapat menampilkan nilai rupiah yang harus dibayar sebagai tagihan pemakaian energi listrik. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk menciptakan rancang bangun alat pembaca kWh fase tunggal 2 kawat kelas 1 230V 5(40).A 50 Hz sampling rate 4.8 kHz yang menggunakan biaya beban acuan sebesar 415 rupiah per 1 kWh dalam alat tersebut memiliki tarif golongan R-1/TR pascabayar dengan daya kapasitas 450 Watt . Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi tahapan studi pustaka kemudian perancangan, pembuatan hardware dan software mengintegrasikan sistem dan pengujian dan analisa sistem. Mempertimbangkan teori-teori tersebut, dapat mengetahui pemograman mikrokontroller ATMega328, Sensor Tegangan, Sensor Arus, LCD, dan Modul WiFi. Pada penelitian kali ini menggunakan beberapa pengujian, diantaranya pengujian yaitu pengujian Mikrokontroler untuk memprosens instruksi pemrograman. LCD berfungsi untuk menampilkan data, Sensor Tegangan untuk membaca tegangan AC. Sensor Arus untuk membaca arus beban. Modul WiFi untuk mengirim data melalui jaringan WiFi. Dari semua pengujian diatas sensor Tegangan dan sensor Arus mendeteksi tegangan dan beban kemudian diproses lalu nilai data akan ditampilakn pada LCD dan dikirimkan melalui aplikasi blynk pada smartphone.
