Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan implementasi model diskless dalam konteks data sharing dan peningkatan keamanan data menggunakan metode UCM (User Control Management). Metode UCM berkaitan dengan manajemen akses pengguna dalam lingkungan jaringan. Data sharing merupakan kebutuhan penting dalam lingkungan jaringan saat ini. Namun, tantangan seperti pengaturan akses yang tepat, perlindungan data, dan peningkatan keamanan menjadi perhatian utama. Implementasi model diskless dengan metode UCM memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan keamanan data. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan akan diperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang potensi model diskless dan metode UCM dalam meningkatkan keamanan data dalam lingkungan jaringan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan sistem data sharing yang aman dan efisien dalam lingkungan jaringan.

Abstract

In general, every company has buying and selling transactions of goods to consumers. PT Allwares Solutions, which is a company engaged in general supplier selling ship engines, spareparts and industrial equipment in Batam, has been implementing information systems related to sales. This company already has a sales information system using GF Accounting. However, it’s not known that there are problems in the system because there are frequent errors in the system because the location of the GF Accounting placement isn’t read by the system, and items are exchange for other items due to inaccurate data management. In addition. The purpose of this research is to see the maturity level of the sales information system at PT Allwares Solutions by using COBIT 4.1 the authors use the framework of COBIT 4.1 with a focus on the DS domain which consists of the DS1, DS3, DS4 and DS5 domains. The results of the analysis of the level of maturity show that the information system regarding sales at PT Allwares Solutions is at level 3 with a process that is determined by status, which means that PT Allwares Solutions has accurately measured the allocation of IT costs for the company's business.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has transformed how society accesses and disseminates information. Unfortunately, this phenomenon also creates opportunities for the massive spread of fake news or hoaxes through digital platforms. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of several machine learning algorithms in detecting text-based hoaxes in Indonesian. The algorithms tested include Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), Naïve Bayes (NB), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Random Forest (RF). The data used consists of online news articles that have undergone text preprocessing stages such as tokenizing, case folding, filtering, stopword removal, stemming, and weighting using the TF-IDF method with a combination of unigram and bigram features. Performance evaluation was conducted using precision, recall, F1-score, and accuracy metrics. The results show that the SVM and MLP algorithms yielded the highest performance with evaluation values above 99.8%, while RF demonstrated strong and stable performance, and NB showed decent performance with high efficiency. These findings provide insights into the effectiveness of text classification methods in hoax detection and serve as a reference for developing more efficient and accurate fake news detection systems

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology continues to experience significant advancements, particularly with the emergence of multimodal models such as OpenAI’s GPT-5 and Google DeepMind’s Gemini Ultra. These innovations mark the beginning of a new phase in AI utilization, where the technology is not only capable of understanding and generating text, but also processing images, audio, and video simultaneously. This capability opens up numerous opportunities in the field of education, especially in creating more interactive, personalized, and adaptable learning models tailored to students’ needs. The purpose of this article is to examine how the evolution of multimodal AI impacts digital-based educational practices, with a special focus on the potential and applications of GPT-5 and Gemini Ultra in the teaching process. A literature review method is employed to analyze the latest scientific and technical publications regarding AI implementation in education. The analysis focuses on technological capabilities, types of learning interventions, and potential risks and challenges that may arise. The findings indicate that multimodal AI can not only enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of learning but also facilitate the creation of more inclusive and contextual learning experiences. However, the implementation of such technologies requires strong regulations and ethical norms to prevent issues such as data privacy violations, unequal access to technology, and reduced human interaction in educational settings.Therefore, this article recommends a balanced use of multimodal AI—one that harmonizes technological innovation with human-centered pedagogical principles—to ensure that the digital transformation in education proceeds sustainably and equitably.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong berbagai layanan beralih ke platform digital, termasuk layanan rental motor. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi, UI (User Interface) dan UX (User Experience) jadi dua komponen penting untuk memastikan kenyamanan pengguna. Studi literatur ini membahas bagaimana pengaruh desain antarmuka (UI) dan pengalaman pengguna (UX) terhadap kepuasan pengguna dalam menggunakan aplikasi rental motor. Hasil kajian dari beberapa penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa tampilan aplikasi yang menarik, navigasi yang mudah, serta responsivitas aplikasi sangat berpengaruh terhadap persepsi dan kepuasan pengguna.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart home system capable of controlling household devices using an ESP32 module and the Blynk application. The background of this research is the need for an efficient, practical, and remote-accessible home automation system. The methodology follows the Extreme Programming (XP) model, covering planning, design, coding, and testing stages. The implementation results demonstrate that the system can control devices such as lights, fans, and water pumps via smartphone in real-time. The system also shows high operational efficiency and user-friendliness. This research contributes to the advancement of smart home technology by providing an economical and easy-to-implement solution. Keywords: Smart Home; Internet of Things; ESP32; Blynk; Automation.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of using ChatGPT as a virtual tutor on the critical thinking skills of university students in Indonesia. The research is grounded in the growing integration of artificial intelligence technologies in higher education, particularly in self-directed learning processes. A quantitative research method was employed using an experimental survey approach, in which respondents were divided into two groups: an experimental group using ChatGPT as a tutor and a control group using conventional learning methods. Data collection instruments included a critical thinking skills test and a student perception questionnaire. The results revealed a significant improvement in the critical thinking abilities of the experimental group compared to the control group. Students who used ChatGPT demonstrated stronger skills in analyzing arguments, drawing conclusions, and evaluating information objectively. The study concludes that ChatGPT holds potential as an effective learning tool to enhance critical thinking abilities. The implications suggest the wise integration of ChatGPT into higher education systems, while also considering ethical aspects and supervision in its use.

Abstract

Melalui adanya program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dosen diharapkan mampu berinteraksi serta dapat memberikan kontribusi positif kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di LKSA Panti Asuhan AGAPE melalui kegiatan bantuan sosial. Panti Asuhan ini bertempat di Perum Taman Cipta Asri II Blok Olive No.109 Tembesi Sagulung Batam. Adapun tujuan kegiatan dari pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan adalah mengacu kepada anak yatim piatu di Panti Asuhan AGAPE yang kurang mampu secara ekonomi dengan memberikan bantuan sosial berupa pemberian sembako. Dengan melihat kondisi anak-anak di panti asuhan Tim Dosen merasa perlu untuk membantu meningkatkan kesejahteraan anak-anak tersebut yang kurang mampu secara ekonomi. Diharapkan dengan adanya pemberian sembako ini dapat membantu meningkatkan kesejahteraan di panti asuhan tersebut. Berdasarkan kunjungan yang dilakukan ke panti asuhan AGAPE maka dapat dapat diperoleh kesimpulan panti asuhan ini masih sangat membutuhkan bantuan, baik bantuan sembako, kebutuhan sekolah maupun dana santunan untuk membantu biaya sekolah anak-anak di panti asuhan AGAPE. Panti asuhan AGAPE sangat berharap adanya bantuan berkesinambungan dari pada dosen guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan tingkat pendidikan anak-anak di Panti asuhan tersebut.

Abstract

The rapid development of the internet today has not been accompanied by an understanding of healthy and safe use of the internet, especially for internet users among children in their teens. The internet is an important human need for both children and parents. Through the internet, we will be able to get information very quickly and can be accessed from anywhere. So it is not surprising that the development of the internet in Indonesia has also experienced an extraordinary increase because of its many benefits. Even though the internet has a positive impact on everyday life, it can also pose extraordinary threats to a family. Every parent definitely wants their child not to be trapped in the world of the internet which tends to be detrimental. Therefore, parents should supervise their children's activities on the internet. Being alert to all children's surfing activities in cyberspace is important because of the wide variety of information available, especially negative information. This negative information cannot be prevented, but we can only filter it either by reminding our children or by installing security software on our computers. Through this coaching, it is hoped that every family will be able to use the internet healthily, and parents will also be able to apply limits on the gadgets and laptops they will use so that children can surf the internet safely.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran hukum masyarakat dalam perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen dalam transaksi jual beli secara offline maupun online. Adapun sasaran khusus kegiatan ini adalah mendorong masyarakat Kelurahan Belakang Padang agar mengerti membantu dalam menyediakan hak dan kewajiban konsumen sebagaimana telah diatur dalam berbagai peraturan perundang-undangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu melalui ceramah dan diskusi. Mengenai sasaran khalayak kegiatan ini adalah 30 orang yang terdiri sebagai konsumen maupun produsen. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran hukum masyarakat terhadap konsumen dalam transaksi jual beli secara offline maupun online telah meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan beberapa indikator diantaranya: Peningkatan pengetahuan terkait dasar hukum perlindungan konsumen, konsep konsumen dalam transaksi jual beli secara online, serta kepedulian dalam ikut berkontribusi memikirkan upaya yang dapat terjadi terhadap konsumen dalam transaksi jual beli.
